Hey TF,

After so much time and being a #1 selling theme, you guys still don’t have support for 2 or more columns per row on mobile .

Literally any theme that utilizes Visual Composer can achieve that.

Instead of introducing this kind of feature, in every answer on this topic you state that more than one column per row on mobile devices is not responsive layout.

But, nothing cant be further from the truth.

Bootstrap itself has an option to define columns per row on mobile devices by simply dropping a class “col-sm-6” for example.

What you do offer is purchasing another plugin to achieve something like this.

Don’t get me wrong, Avada will offer nice demos and such, but if one wants to achieve anything more than what can be seen on demo, one better think twice.

It is just laziness that produces this kind of result. You intentionally refuse to implement simple features.

Hi there

We thank you for your feedback, we do appreciate it and we do hear you loud and clear however the layout that you see on mobile is intentional and by design. Trying to cram in two columns can have a negative impact on some mobile devices due to the viewport size. And FYI, the plugin that will have been recommended to you is not our plugin. We did not create it or benefit from it

Your suggestion is certainly noted, thank you

Hi,

Huge fan of the theme. I have multiple clients using it with more to jump over soon.

Noticing that when I am in text editor and clicking on the drop down box to change the font size or choose a colour, it changes the arrow as if dropped down, but it is not showing the dropdown box.

Works fine if I jump out of the fusion builder back into the default editor.

Thanks

WooCommerce Product Gallery: Clicking on an image opens the lightbox. That’s very good. But unfortunately, the image titels are not showing up in the lightbox if you come from the WooCommerce Product Gallery. That is extremely bad and bothers my client.

In regular image galleries everything works fine.

Bug: There is a pretty big bug with the modal popups. If you have the smooth-scrolling option enabled (Theme options > Advanced > Theme Features) which replaces the normal scroll bar with a smaller, styled bar, when the modal pops up, the normal scroll bar comes out from the side of the page, and the smart scroll bar is still there.

Not only does it look really bad, but when you minimize the modal popup, the layer slider at the top of the page has about 20px of white space on each side of it. I guess from the scroll bar being added and then taken away. Can you fix this?

Also, it would be nice if the scroll bar in the modal window could be styled like the smooth scroll bar.

I’m not currently covered under support, so can you just tell me what could cause this sort of issue if not the theme or plugins? Like, is it the Wordpress core itself causing it? Is that possible? Could there be other settings in theme options causing it? What if I give you a copy of all my theme option settings for you to test with?

Hello @MHP28

I am afraid this is not a possibility to check the issue without logging into your site, please check if you are eligible for our Grandfathered support and if not you can always extend your support by going to this link.

Please see this Envato help file on how to extend your item support -> http://bit.ly/1LQ4hvJ

What is a split license? And what do I need one for?

Hello @CBelan

Actually it is split license GPL. Split GPL means WP itself is GPL but authors designs, assets, etc are not.

You can read about it here through the Envato help file: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202501064?_ga=1.160212152.460345059.1466219608

Hello team,

I have purchased 4 Avada licenses for a few client websites. Can you confirm how I can identify which product code has been used for which website? Thanks

Hi there

This is something for you to track. I suggest using a spreadsheet or similar for that as there is no tool in the support help desk to manage this.

Hello, We’re experiencing a viewing issue within the Slider Revolution (4.6.93) and Avada (5.2.2) while visiting our site. You can see a centered spinning box, the left and right navigation as well as thumbnail/breadcrumbs at the bottom but the images themselves are not displaying any longer. The same issue is occurring while previewing the slider within the revslider control panel. Could you possibly help shed some insight on what might be causing this issue? Thanks so much for your valued help and time =)

Hello, I am using header #6 (with the hamburger menu) and I am having a problem displaying a submenu item. I added a submenu to one of the menu items and it does not show up within the menu system.

If you go to the site: http://wdvegas.net/dev/melissacoppel.com/

Under the Workshop page I added a submenu page called “Gallery” but it doesn’t work. Nothing happens when you click or hover over Workshop.

Do submenus not work with this type of menu system?

Thank you.

Hi there

That is because the header version 6 menu does not display child menu items, this is intentional. We currently have a Git item set up for discussion within our team to evaluate and implement additional menu display options for header 6, in due course

Hey guys, love the theme, love the stability of it, and this will be my “easy go-to” theme for clients :P But I have one quick question about blog posts:

Posting a default blog post in the main body field, WITHOUT the fusion editor, displays a broken and unformatted page where the text is not contained within the body of the page.

Is there a setting that will allow default posts to have some formatting to make it easy for the end client to copy/paste their blog without having to upload/copy a fusion editor demo each time?

I read the documentation and contacted support, and the support rep said it was due to 0 transparency in the header… but that has nothing to do with it and perhaps I didn’t explain the question well.

I just want to know if it’s possible for the theme to retain basic formatting on a default WP post to make it as simple as possible for the end client. Thanks!

Hi there

mmmm, I am really not sure I follow what the issue is, as described here. If you create a post or page and disable the Fusion Builder, any content you add to the page/post via the WordPress editor will display. If it does not display or the formatting is off when you view it then something must be at play. It could be that invalid markup is added along with the content when the post is created, causing display issues, or, any one of a dozen possibilities.

Basically, adding content to a page or post without the Fusion Builder is no problem at all. Rule of thumb, a theme and content builder enhances default WordPress functionality; It does not alter it.

I have a website that I have built but have been using a different theme for several years. Before I decide about switching I need to know the following: 1. Will I loose all my content? 2. How much am I going to have to reformat my webpage? 3. Will it just be minor reformatting or a complete redo?

Hi there

Thank you for your interest in Avada :) To answer your questions:

1 – You will not lose any page/post content

2 – That depends on several factors and is difficult to tell without knowing what your site looks like. Switching any theme will inevitably involve some amount of adjustment. How much will depend on just how you have constructed your page/post content and what type of layout settings you have decided to use.

3 – See point 2 ^ and you may find that switching opens up many more design options and flexibility you might not have had before, which could be a catalyst in making some design changes. As they say, a haircut is as good as a holiday :)

We will be delighted for you to join the fastest growing theme community out there :)

Amazing 5-Star Review

recent avada reviews

Hey Guys,

I have been working on a client’s site and having some issues with the modal popup on mobiles.

The modal window size is huge and does not fit in the screen on mobile devices.

I have other websites where I am using Avada and the modal popup is working fine on mobiles.

I would appreciate any help regarding to this matter.

Cheers, Pete

Hello @pszita

We have no such issues with our theme where modal cuts up on the mobile and this must be coming from sone 3rd party plugin, please disable all your 3rd party plugin and check again once however if the issue persist please do open a support ticket and our team will gladly assist you.

Hi, I need to know if Avada theme supports single-post infinite scroll, with a dynamic change of URLs… I mean something like this:

domain.com/blog/post_A (Read the post, scroll down, load next post in category or date) domain.com/blog/post_B (Scroll down, load next post) domain.com/blog/post_C etc. etc.

Thank you. Matteo

Hello @Matteofb

I am afraid the scroll on single post is not an option where the next post appears on same single post page, however what you want can be achieved on the listing pages for sure as we do have infinite scroll and parallax scroll option where you can load more posts as you scroll down, or you can parallax scroll from one location to another using either menu or any other text link.

We will be happy for you to be a part of this Amazing Community :)

Hi I’m getting a ‘This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.’ error on my google maps, can I know how to fix this?

Hello @JanakaWickremarachchi

Most probably you haven’t created the Google Map API properly so please double check the instructions put here => http://bit.ly/29k5YEE and then create a new API key to put it inside Avada > Theme Options > Contact > Google Map

However if the issue persist please do open a new ticket with our support using the link below and we will check this out in details.

Hi there. I’m considering buying this theme. Just wondering if you can tell me whether or not certain elements can be disabled when viewing on a mobile device.

For example, you might have a large banner you want to show for desktop users, but when viewing on a mobile, you want to hide it. Is this possible?

Thank you!

Hello @Stellarskinbody

Definitely Possible, we do have an option for this in our theme that is called “Fusion Builder Visibility System” where you can enable disable any item for Mobile, Tablets and Desktop. You can read more about it here and its very easy to use with just 1 click => http://bit.ly/2sfGD9Q
