Hello! I am scoping this theme for a large group of projects (I will be buying 6 licenses, one for each office).
There are a few questions I can’t seem to find answers to.
1. I need to have Projects/Tasks appear to groups of members. These would be created by an admin. When a user is created and added to a group, they would be automatically added to those projects. This is possible correct? Is it also possible when a new user is created, a default admin project is created?

1. This is possible, there is an integration between Woffice projects and BuddyPress groups.
2. No, but it can be done very easily by a WordPress developer in a couple minutes (maybe an hour to make it perfect).

I have some presales questions.
1- Google Login:
I’ve seen that one of the features is:
Google login NEW Let your users login with their own Google account.
Is there the possibility to remember a user login for a long time without having to login every single time it returns to the intranet?
We would like our users to login once with their Google account and them when they would come back they would need to login again, at least for a month if it’s possible.
2- Google calendar synchronization
We would like to automatically synchronize the calendar of this theme with the google calendars of our users, is it possible?

This kind of setting is not dependent on the platform, but on the user’s computer and browser settings. If the user clicks on “Remember me”, and doesn’t clean his cookies/cache, then he will stay logged in without any hassle.

Sorry, I missed the second one.
Regarding Google Calendar Sync, we are actually using this plugin for the calendar: https://codecanyon.net/item/wordpress-pro-event-calendar/2485867 so you’re able to import event from a GCal, but it’s not a 2-way synchro.
Therefore, it won’t be possible out of the box, but you can still install additional plugins, there are plenty out there.

I have a few presale questions, and they were mainly addressed in the previous comment, so I will just copy the ones I had:
1. My client is interested in file sharing. Some files will not be associated with projects, so, general forms that the staff can send to clients etc… I cannot seem to find just a files section.
2. The client was really interested in a poll functionality. I see the poll results in the dashboard, but where would they create the poll? Can this be done in the frontend?
3. Now I see Multiverso. There are files but no download can be clicked. How does your file system work?
4. Are there any add-ons that are not included that need to be purchased separately?
5 Where is the chat system? I see a little chat box on the dashboard. Is this it? Can chats be private between 2 members? A group of members? Or are they public with everyone?
6. Time tracking widget. What time is it tracking in the widget? Do projects have their own time trackers?
7. How flexible are you guys with customizations? New features? Tweaks for UX/UI?
8. On your calendar page, it seems like we have to go into the day to see the events, or use list view which becomes too crowded. I have seen Thrive theme using the ouseover to show a preview of the events on that day. Is this possible with you right now? If not, would it be something you are adding or can add?

Yes, I think I have just answered most of your questions.
1- File away plugin bundled, so you can easily setup a files section. See: https://demos.alka-web.com/woffice/business/fileaway-file-manager/
2 – Poll creation is only available from front-end as yet. But you can still easily install a third-party plugin, plenty out there.
3 – Multiverso was the initial plugin, but we now recommend to use Fileaway.
4- The only premium plugin which is not included is Learndash for course platform.
5 – This is using Wise chat as a plugin. But we recently built our in-house chat to give you all the basic chat features: chat room, 1 to 1 chat, etc. We are currently in beta mode though 
6 – It’s tracking as soon as the user set it off. We do not have time tracking per project yet.
7 – We do offer 7/7 – 24/24 support in 4 different language (English, French, Portuguese and Italian) to assist you and fix anything which would need to be fixed, but we don’t offer customisations for free. According to the level and depth of your requests, we will either quote your request, or redirect you toward Wordpress specialists.

My compliments to you guys, it is a very promising piece of work.,
I have a few pre-sale questions, I hope you don’t mind answering them.
1- We primarily wan to use it for internal document sharing (with role access) . We fail to see file categories there, and also it seems all files are in one folder only. Also role based access to files (i.e who can read/modify, etc.) is lacking, am I right? Does it need an add-on ? Also when you click on uploaded files, nothing happens, Does not view or download. PDF files seems to be downloaded only but bot viewed upon click.
2- The Calendar doe not let us to create any events!
3- Is the wiki module included or it requires purchase of an additional add-on ?
4- Basically nothing can be added in the demo (such as project, etc. ) is this functionality reserved for the backend ?
5- Is it possible to have credentials to see the backend demo ?
6- Is user based (or group based) Role based access implemented ? So admin decides who can see projects,tasks,etc.
7- Can files (project files or loose files) be synced with google drive or somewhere on the cloud ?
8- Is there list of add-ons (modules or functionalities) that is not included and needs to be purchased separately?

Please find below the answers to your questions:
1- We are using File Away for file management, so it’s bundled with Woffice and working out of the box. Demo is set for a standard user, but you can easily set up persmissions using User Role Editor – also bundled. Regarding PDF files, yes behavior by default is the downloading, as for every file.
2- Event creation are for admin user, which is not the case for the demo user (security purpose).
3 – Wiki: built in-house and included for free! 
4- You can easily set up a project from the project listing page: https://demos.alka-web.com/woffice/business/projects/
5 – Sorry, for security purpose we do not offer that. If you want more personal experience, please open a pre-sale ticket on our desk: alkaweb.ticksy.com.
6) Yes, we do have User Role Editor bundled.

I’m having some issues with the theme, including:
- When I create a new page, the “publish” button does not exist. And even when I save as a draft, when I open the page again, all the content I have placed no longer exists.
- I can not add new polls. I edit the poll but when the page reload reloads and goes to a nonexistent page.
What could be causing these problems? How to solve them?

Hello,
Projects are automatically archived by WordPress. You can display the filters through the Theme Settings > Projects page. Make sure you have the latest Woffice version enabled. There is a page created for each month / category / year… as any WordPress post.
Once enabled for a given project, that’ll just create a folder on your FTP where files related to that project will be stored.

I have another question about the members section, I would like to be able to enter the hierarchy of the members that are intranet and that this information can be stored in the database. Hi, i installed your plugin to develop an extranet for a client. They really dislike both menu options. The vertical one because it’s a bit to original for them, and the horizontal one because it is really not aesthetically pleasing (I have to agree on that), and the mobile menu bar takes a lot of space.
Do you plan on releasing an update with a better horizontal menu option ? For example having the menu links in the header with the logo and user info ? Which would make more sense.

We note the idea but as of right now that’s the first feedback we get on that as usually people love the idea to separate the top bar and the menu. So it’s not planned for now. Any web developer can make that work for you within a few hours, it’s just a few template changes and some CSS tweaks

Hi Roger, Thanks for your interest in our product.
Although Woffice comes with a bunch of in-house extensions, and notably a Wiki extension which could suit your needs to some extent – in your case, we would say that it’s more suitable to use a third-party plugin. We Docs would be especially useful for the single-view with navigation – it looks alike a documentation. 
As long as the code is maintained, and the extension doesn’t rely on dodgy code, you won’t have any problem.

After I update my WOffice theme, I noticed my page builder will not show up again on all pages and new ones. I also noticed yesterday that you guys are running maintenance operation for the whole of yesterday. What is going on??

There was no update from us in the last week: http://hub.alka-web.com/woffice/changelog
However there was updates from Unyson (the framework we’re using), there was some issues and they fixed it right away. It should be back to normal, just make sure to have the latest versions on your side.
That was Ticksy (support helpdesk) improving it’s security, we’ll provide more details later today but again it’s all back to normal.
So on our side, nothing. On our partners’ side, yesterday was a bad day. All back to normal and won’t happen again in both cases.
