Yes i figured it out and implemented it.

I thought i figured this out but it didn’t work the next day. It’s now showing the published date and not the updated date. I don’t know what to do next.

Yes, please notice that you can try using such a plugin for this functionality but we cannot say for sure if it will work or not because we cannot have any recommended plugin for this situation, sorry! I have tested this method of the newspaper and the method still works as expected. http://screencast.com/t/YIrkN4SV I’m not sure exactly why it’s not working on your end but you need to use font awesome, not sprites. The sprites have been removed from our theme from a few updates back. Only font awesome can provide the icon properly. there are 2 copy/paste operations you need to make and 1 plugin install.

1. Copy this code:

IMPORTANT NOTICE: there are 2 instances of the same code in that page. One is for the top sharing icons and one is for the bottom icons. If you want to be linked in on both you need to paste the code twice for each instance. If you only want the top or bottom, make sure you place the code in the correct spot.

2. Copy this code:

.td-social-linkedin{ margin-left:8px; background-color: #006699!important;; } Paste it in the theme panel-> custom css spot

3. Install this plugin: https://www.newnine.com/plugins/font-awesome-4-menus

4. Clear all caching, and reset CDN files if you use it as cache needs to be cleared for changes to appear immediately. Otherwise, you will have to wait for the cache to be cleared and that depends on how you set it.

The background was created and implemented just for the exterior of the site, not over the main content as well, just like here: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/td-post-2015-awards-all-of-the-best-and-worst-moments-from-the-show/ There is no option to add a background to your post content. On pages you can add a background image, color or video using the row settings, but for posts you cannot have a backround for your content, sorry. Unfortunately the menu is the same one for desktop and mobile unless you use the mobile theme. The mobile theme plugin is the one that allows separate menus between mobile and desktop.
