This is some kind of slider. Functionality for this do not exist in a form of element but it is possible to create similar functionality with slider revolution plugin which is included with our theme, but you need to be very familiar with the plugin and to be able to write some custom JS functionality for click action for each user so some custom coding is required.

Hi, my web designer setup my website about 3 years ago with Bridge. Now, when I try to try to make a small change to a website, the Visual Composer doesn’t seem to be working. If I renew my support with the Bridge theme, do I still get Visual Composer? Or do I need to do both (Bridge support) and purchase Visual Composer?

Issue is present because you are using outdated theme and plugins. You don’t need to purchase anything to fix that. simply download latest theme version and update theme and plugins to latest versions. My website was set up according to how I want in previous versions of Bridge. I am now on version 11 and today I accidentally went into QODE > General and clicked on “Save Changes”. Now all my settings and custom CSS are gone.
Is there any way for me to get my old settings back?

All theme options are saved within WordPress database and saving theme options will just save static css file according to your settings in Qode options so saving options shouldn’t change anything if you didn’t change options. Anyway you can’t revert changes if any unless you load site backup. If you don’t have backup then ask your hosting provider regarding that since some hosting companies have auto backups usually weekly or monthly.

WordPress do not offer functionality for having two themes activated at the same time where one will be live and you will be able to change elements on other one. Because of this and to be able reduce downtime as much as possible it is bet to migrate your live site from live to local installation, to switch theme on local and to rebuilt everything and then to migrate back to live domain. In case that you want to switch on live enviroment then install some maintenance mode plugin until you adjust everything with Bridge theme, and while migrating it is highly recommended to create full site backup before everything else.

I’d like change Category Filter Style in responsive in the shortcode Post Grid. I like full screen filter or another style more simple, but I can’t change it. When I go to css it’s impossible to change. Is like if this filter is a js and I don’t understand why the css don’t respond.

Portfolio list is showing portfolio item featured image, and for portfolio additional images, user need to access single portfolio page, and this is normal and intended theme functionality. Featured image for each portfolio will be displayed in portfolio list when you set list on some page over portfolio list element. Clicking on each portfolio in portfolio list will open single portfolio page with other images. Does this theme have the option for an email capture? A pop-up that appears on the homepage that allows people to leave their email address? We don’t need it to link to things like constant contact or anything, on the backend is fine, but is there something you have? Or do you recommend a plugin that is COMPATIBLE with your theme?

There is newsletter form in some demos which is for demonstration purposes and it is created with Contact Form 7 plugin which is compatible with our theme. It is static form within page content or it can be placed in footer, and in order to capture emails you need to connect form with some newsletter service, and for mailchimp for example you can use this plugin for example https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7-mailchimp-extension/
For popup form, we are not in position to recommend some plugin but some users use ninja forms so you can check plugin functionality and to consider using it if it matches your needs.

How can we make sure the “fixed advanced” menu is not hidden when we scroll down?

There is no option for disabling inner page navigation from per page options, so if you don’t want it on some set of pages, you can remove them from their parent or to hide navigation on some pages with some css code.

It would be useful to have a feature so that if a page has no parent, then it does not show the inner navigation.
Currently, it just shows a empty row then there is no parent, which seems a bit redundant.

Hi, I understand that when using the “Interactive icon showcase” that you must use 8 icons. (I hope you change this in the future!) Hi Qode, I would like to create some content in Visual Composer and then display it on multiple pages within the theme. Do you have a blank page option that allows the content to be created and then display it within an Iframe on other pages without header menus etc? Or some other way of doing the same?

You can duplicate pages, posts and other post types with various clone / duplicate plugins like this one https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-post/ . Serving content trough iframe isn’t advisable, and theme don’t have element for that purpose unfortunately.

Ok thanks for your answer. I wanted to be able to update the content in only 1 place and then have it displayed the same on multiple page so I only have to update 1 time – using duplicator wouldn’t help with that as it would require multiple duplication each time I update.
Is it possible to have different footer section on some pages so that I could add the VC code in the top of the footer section and only display it on some pages?

WordPress doesn’t have such functionality, and all content on pages needs to be updated manually for each page. This is of course possible, but some custom coding is required.
Footer is unique for all content, and theme doesn’t offer such functionality, but there were some requests in the past for this, and our development team will consider integration in some future theme updates.

I think I’ve found a bug in the header. When I use a regular header with a right-side menu, everything is displayed correctly. But when I combine this with a ‘header top right text widget’, the menu moves to the left, behind the logo.

Hi, I am working on a woocommerce website. My client wants a section of product catergories on the home page. I have tried to insert woocommerce categories as the element but it shows the frame size of each category very large and showing the number of products count in yellow colour highlighted. I refuse to renew support until this issue is resolved. I spent nearly 5 hours on the phone with GoDaddy trying to work out this Visual Composer issue with Bridge. I have two instances that are identical in every way on two different servers. Same versions of VC, Bridge, WP, every PHP setting, PHP version, file permission, htaccess setting, everything identical, yet in one install I get
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot set property ‘customlibEditGallery’ of undefined at HTMLDocument.<anonymous>
When trying to edit a page that initialized Visual Composer. I even went as far as purchasing the real visual composer (5.3) and installing that, same error. I have 100% concluded without a shred of doubt that the Bridge theme is the culprit for this error. But I have no idea how. I even copied the working Bridge theme and all associated files over to the other server and still, I get the same error with identical Bridge installs. Is it something messed up in the database?
I’ve disabled everything and tested, enabled just some things, tried every version of support I could find and tried every solution proposed by any of the threads from googling for more than half a day straight so far.
Please, for the love of god help me.

This issue is hosting related. ‘customlibEditGallery’ is available function but script isn’t loaded, and when called it is returning undefined. It is WordPress core function. Simply install Bridge on local installation to see if it is working https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/setting-up-xampp/ and if your hosting plan isn’t enough for running commercial themes with set of demanding plugins then try changing hosting plan or hosting company.
Before debugging this further with hosting company, you can try from your side to increase some PHP directives like below:
max_execution_time = 300;
memory_limit = 128M;
upload_max_filesize = 64M;
post_max_size = 256M;

Doesn’t matter which file is it, since execution of js fails in back end end some function will return error and execution of js scripts will fail. You can still test on localhost or on different hosting provider. From our side we can fix this for you in vague way by removing some requests from Bridge theme but note that it is not cause of issue. You can write to our support regarding that and also provide WordPress and FTP admin access if you want suggested solution.
