I have never been so frustrated with using custom css to modify an element in the most basic way. All I am trying to do is adjust the margin-top on the list element and it never works. It shows that it works in Googles DevTools but it never takes. !important never works either. I can’t add my own html either because somehow it gets wrapped with a billion of other classes. I need help please! This is something that should be so easy and for some reason is made impossible on this theme.

Whenever I try to update the site, since I first got it, I always have to redo everything, like the colors, some of the font choices, the menu, etc. Is there an easier way to update the site without this happening every time. I’m using a child theme as well. Thanks.

I am having an issue where all of the icons aren’t showing up. I can only see them on preview, but not live. Any ideas on why that might happen? Im guessing the link to the icons is messed up somehow or the library is missing?

1. 2. Most importantly. Is it possible to edit lightbox on those pages (portfolio pages) so it doesn’t show thumbnails and photo titles? Atm when photo is clicked I can see thumbnails at the bottom of a screen. I would like to remove them and in general would be great to be able to edit this light box like it is possible in other places in uncode theme.

Hi imatge! No unfortunately this is not one of the native options of Uncode, it seems the author modified the Uncode files to incorporate an extra div in the homepage only, here he inserted a Slider Revolution via simple shortcode.
PS: anyway this feature is in our roadmap (other users requested to insert a top adv banner) but I cannot give you any deadline.

I am using this blog page:

Even after I deleted all article content and saved it. It is still showing that sentence.
I also created a new article and it does not show anything where the sample text should show.

Hi there! I just made a change and saved my theme options. However, I think because of my php vars being insufficient, all my theme options went haywire. I increased my php vars and saved the theme options again, but it seems some things changed irreversibly.
In particular, I had a custom field for my Woocommerce products. It was a short description for the product, to be displayed just underneath the price tag (see www.interstellargoods.sg).
Problem is – this custom field disappeared and reset to null when the theme options issue occured. YET despite so, the short description can still be seen. So it seems that the data is not lost yet, but just that it does not show on my product editing page under “Custom Field”. Wonder if there is a way to restore this short description custom field?
All in all seems to be some sort of a database error affecting the frontend but the backend data is still preserved.
Hi maltase! Yes this is exactly the problem you can have if your server is not compliant of the Max Input Vars, please follow the docs to read more about it: https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214000785
In fact this value is alerted inside the admin with evident messages. It’s possible that you have installed some plugins (any plugins consume some vars) and at the time of saving the vars went over. This problem is generally also associated to the fact your are not compliant also with the PHP version. As you’ve seen this lack is at the discretion of saving on the server, you’ve been working for a long time without anything happening. You can try ask your host if they have a backup so you can restore this version.
There is no backup at this point which is fine, but the issue now is that I think some sort of error was created.
The front end does not reflect the backend database, as my “short description” custom field has disappeared on the product page editing YET I can still see it on the live page. I think this error is slowing down my page load speed as a result as well.
Could you kindly advise if a reset of the theme options will refresh everything?

Hello! Sorry maybe I wasn’t too clear.
So initially before this php vars issue, I created a “Custom Field” under Theme Options > Woocommerce > Product named “Short Description”. This custom field is used in the shopfront product display (using the Post element) to briefly describe the product. It is shown under the price.
If you go to interstellargoods.sg, you will see this short description still active and showing on the shopfront’s product displays. However, in reality, after this php vars incident, I no longer have any “Custom Field” items under Theme Options > Woocommerce > Product. It does not appear to have been erased (since my shopfront still shows this short description), just no longer visible.
When I go to the “Post” element which I use to generate the shopfront, under Module, I am able to select this custom field to be displayed. However it is no longer named “Short Description”, but only appears as an empty blank. When I go to the product editing page and click on “Custom Field”, nothing appears.
What seems to have happened is that the Uncode backend is reading the “Short Description” custom field, but not displaying it in both (1) Theme Options > Woocommerce > Product and (2) “Custom Field” at the bottom of the product editing page. Some sort of disconnect with the MySQL database appears to have occured as a result of the php vars incident.
I would be happy to include screenshots but I cannot attach it here. Would it be possible for us to converse via email, so I can send attachments?
What happen if you create a new Custom Field or you don’t select and use these corrupted fields?
In the “Post” element – the empty custom field remains, and the new custom field appears as well.
In editing product page “Custom Field” at the bottom of page – two empty boxes appear, although I only added one new custom field.
In Theme Options > Woocommerce > Product – I only see one new custom field. Old custom field is still invisible.
Yes ok but you can use these new fields? Unless you manually clean your database I don’t see other options right now.
I’m ok to use these new fields, but don’t mind manually cleaning the database. I’ve some basic knowledge of phpMyAdmin, can you point me in the right direction?
Will resetting Theme Options clean this up? I ask also because there is a ghost flicker of an old logo when Theme Options initial loads, before it shows the correct latest uploaded logo. It might be a good idea to deal with all these issues in one clean sweep.
Hi maltase! My suggestion is to first try to avoid any manual database clean up, this is tricky and dangerous.
Why you don’t recreate from scratch the Posts module, it make takes few minutes to replicate the settings but this new module has no reference with the old custom fields and here you can use only the new ones. Unfortunately checkin your site now I don’t see any logo so cannot check the problem you refer with the logo.

Unfortunately there is not a demo version you can download and try before purchase for any themes on Theme Forest. You can buy the theme and if there are valid reason ask for a refund. I’m sorry for this but it’s the nature of digital download.

I have been unable to get the title attributes to appear in the “Overlay center” menu layout. Is there some code snippet I can add/edit via FTP or have I missed something in the Theme Options? Also, how can I add elements (like basic symbols) between the overlay menu options?
I am also having troubles to get the WP feature working where there’s automatically a thumbnail generated of a PDF file uploaded to the server. The WP install is up-to-date and I’ve also been in contact with the host. Could this have anything to do with the theme itself?

PS: please note that is not possible to create an automatic featured image (JPG, PNG or GIF) from a PDF file. This is not a native WP functionality, I don’t know if your refer to some extra plugins or proprietary functionality from another theme in case specify in the ticket..
