I just installed and imported the watch demo. I couldn’t be more disappointed. I know not every demo will look exactly like the site demo, and this has the disclaimer that images are copyright and will show up black, but my demo installation looks NOTHING like the template demo. It’s not even dark. The basic elements are barely there. It’s one step above a free Wordpress template. If I can’t get some SERIOUSLY impressive support, I’ll be seeking a refund asap.

You misunderstood. I knew the copyright images wouldn’t show up, but it states it as though there will be some sort of black image (one would assume a place holder) so the theme at least somewhat resembles the demo. My disappointment is how much tweaking and guessing (also helped importing it 3 times in a row) it has taken just to get it close to the demo. After a lot of work, I have it somewhat similar – but the slider isn’t working at all. Says invalid slider ID or alias.
I’m still disappointed it’s taken so much effort to get the demo site somewhat up and running, but if someone could get the slider in place to where I could just edit the images out to my own, that would be a big help, and I’d be happy to change the review stars and verbatim. Thanks.

Hi, I just purchased this theme, I would recommend you add to the timeframe on the product page that you have a v1.09 available. That way people might feel you still take care of the theme. I was hesistant thinking it was not supported or outdated due to it not being maintained. Thanks!
Right now, this theme is pretty stable. But we also still provide update to make sure that it works with current WP version. However, if you find any bugs, please feel free to let us know. We’re willing to help fix it

Can you provide page url of your shop page please?
Oh ok, that’s a default shop from Woocommerce so it will use its layout. In this case, you have to create a new page directly and use page builder with page item ‘product’ directly : http://take.ms/iPTy1
If I create a different shop page then I cant have only product categories on the page because I have to use product page builder which only shows the products. please check out the shop page that I created

Are you going to provide an updated version that is compatible with wordpress 4.9? Here is what my developer wrote after I asked about speed and loading of the website: speed loading it’s not affected by ssl certificates you have some problems with the theme structure that is very old and also I think the hosting it’s a big problem too. I have not seen form a long time a site that takes so much time till it’s loading yes. this theme was not updated from 2015

The theme structure is what it is. We can’t do anything about it. In order to increase the speed, you may consider to use caching, minifying plugin.

Hello, my support has expired but I haven’t needed it until now. I just upgraded from version 1.07 to 1.09 and suddenly the stylesheet is messed up and not showing many of the styles I created in the Goodlayers panel, also, it’s trying to load incorrect fonts, it’s trying to load Open Sans for all headings when I’ve got Droid Sans and Droid Serif selected in the panel. I reverted my version of Wordpress back to 4.8.4 and it didn’t fix it, and I deactivated all non-essential plugins and tried to re-save the styles in the Goodlayer panel. The CSS was loading, but CSS headings was attempting to load Open Sans, which wasn’t loaded into the page, for some reason. Nothing worked until I reactivated The Luxury 1.07. I think there is a bug with 1.09, can you please advise? Thank you!

RESOLVED – AND IT WAS NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE THEME! I don’t think this had anything to do with a theme. After further investigation, I think my client snuck onto the site and messed stuff up. I simply rolled back to a backup, installed the latest version of Wordpress, and then re-updated the theme to the latest version and it seems to be working fine now. But thank you for the quick response!

I found where in the editor to remove the ”.” and how to change the icon to shopping cart, however there is a bug in the editors section.
Under stylesheet when I want to make a change or to remove the ”.” is says: “There is 1 error which must be fixed before you can update this file.” There are some exclamation sign in the editor area. and it doesn’t let me make the changes, and if I somehow press update file it doesn’t change anything.
How can you remove this error from the site?
Also, where should I put the mailchimp popup code into the website so it works?

Hi there, I have been using The Luxury theme on my website for some time, and I really love it. It’s flexible and looks great, plus is very easy to use. However it has not been updated now for 18 months, and some elements are starting to break – it is getting harder to keep it working properly as a result. I desperately do not want to have to update my theme, for many different reasons including time and the fact that The Luxury allows me to be very well optimised for SEO. I’m wondering if you have any plans to update this theme as I’m desperate for it to work properly and have invested a lot of time (plus three purchases of the theme for various other websites) and ideally I would be able to keep it updated. Could you please advise?

Hi, that’s great news and thank you for your offer of help. The biggest problem I have at the moment is with Master Slider. It’s not the latest version and I can’t get into the actual slider to modify it. I talked to my host about it already and he advised it’s a plugin conflict, however I can’t delete the problematic plugin because it’s crucial for my sales process. Secondly, I found some months ago that the testimonial slider elements are not working well for mobile responsiveness. And the other major issue at the moment is that I am getting a PHP500 error when I try to delete a post, page or portfolio item. I can switch them to draft, but can’t delete them. Could you please give me an email address so I can send you login info and screen shots? I can’t seem to access the support system even though I have the purchase codes.
