It seems you’re setting negative margins on these items via the page builder / vs design options. Those negative margins would need to be removed on mobile only or you would need to remove them all together and accomplish the layout via a different manner as the hard coded negative px based margins are not a responsive solution

thanks a lot, I did fixed it. Now the only problem here is the order of picture and texts in mobile screen. It looks like this now: http://prntscr.com/h026ay I want to place image first and then related content and again image+related content. but now it is a bit mixed up as under the picture it shows 2 content. How to fix this order issue?

You would need to create two versions of the rows, one in each respective order. You can then us the VC responsive options tab when editing each column to hide/show them on the desired viewport

It was set at 10, now I set it at 30… but check again. It does not show 30.
And have you not defined a number in the Salient options panel > WooCommerce tab at the Products Per Page field?

Hi, I’ve installed the demo Business, but unfortunately when I imported the demo a lot things are missing. The menus, widgets and ‘call back form’ didn’t connect and most of the photos are not there either. But I am more concerned about menus, widgets and ‘call back form’ to get as per the original demo.

The menus should have indeed been imported, the contact form shown in that demo is added through Contact Form 7, which needs to be installed separately but is covered in the docs http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/importing-contact-form-data/
The demo images are replaced with placeholders for that specific demos due to the original image copyrights, but newer demos use placeholders provided by unsplash. Could you kindly open a ticket in regards with admin credentials so I can check on why the menu didn’t get imported for you? https://themenectar.ticksy.com

Hey there! Quick question—I updated Salient to the newest version through the Envato Wordpress tool and it broke my site. It used to look like this:

The attributes should still show if defined in the sidebar area – if those are a custom addition of categories instead of project attributes, those mods wouldn’t hold through an update unless you did them through a child theme. The mod would need to be reapplied.

You’re welcome! You can choose to have any portfolio display in “lightbox only” mode – if you’re using the portfolio page template, you can control this from the Salient options panel > portfolio tab and if you’re using the portfolio element in the page builder, the option will be directly inside of the configuration options for the element

Salient doesn’t modify your permalink structure to include anything like that – have you checked on the WooCommerce forums or asked your server is something is adding that to your htaccess file in regards?
Hi! I purchased The Salient theme 2014. Now, three years later the Visual composer stopped working. I have no idea why, since i havn’t made any big changes.
So i bought Visual composer again – but when trying to activate it, it says fatal error: “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpb_getImageBySize() (previously declared in /home/u/u1075744/www/wp-content/themes/salient/wpbakery/js_composer/composer/lib/helpers.php:15) in /home/u/u1075744/www/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers.php on line 115”

1. You don’t need to purchase VC separately – you should contact Envato to get a refund in regards
2. instead, you need to update your version of Salient to the current release (8.1.0) and then update your Salient VC via the plugins section of your admin panel to the latest (5.2.1) in order to get the fix. http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/

Thank you for your help. Unfortunatly it didn’t work out fully. When trying to “Add item” in the Envato Market-plugin, i got this message “The item cannot be downloaded.”
I’m not 100% sure that i bought this theme with this account. Can that be the issue?

2. The nectar slider content (caption and buttons) by default fade and slide up when the slider loads and when changing slides – are you trying to remove the slide up animation and just have it fade?

It appears the issue is coming from the minifcation you have on – to fix it immediately, you could add this into the custom css box in your Salient options panel:

the general settings – styling – overall Font Color: This value doesn’t overwrite the color if fullwith is chosen in the row. So now i set the overal font color: #191919 and also included in CSS:

I can’t get a video to upload for a Slider. When I try to upload even a small 2.6MB file, I get this error in the Media section “IMG_4616.m4v exceeds the maximum upload size for this site.” Is there a way I can increase the max file size upload ? Thanks!

Hello, I am trying to configure your template in a website… but there is many problems. 1. I cant import any demo, when i click on the options, nothing happen. 2. The google map shows a message: Oops! Something went wrong. This page didn’t load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details.
