Hi guys, Tell me please can your theme be transformed to lead gen simple landing page with contact form on the home banner?

That’s possible by selecting a page template that is suitable, for example no header or simply not assigning any menu which will make the whole page an individual landing page.
I really love the theme. The cornerstone is really beautiful in term of UI and smooth in term of UX. But I have a problem with the support, I have a problem about responsiveness and it took days for the support to reach me and I don’t really get a real solution even after three days of waiting. It’s not even a complex problem, It’s only about columns display in mobile which I can solve it with default visual composer with a simple setting option (which is nonexistent in theme x’s visual composer for I don’t know why).
It’s frustrating because It delays my deployment target, I tried to look it up on the support forum and found a solution but I can’t make it works with my site (I’m not good at css). I’m aware that it’s a popular theme and the support is really busy, but from my perspective, it’s still a nightmare.

Yo! Can this be used for knowledgebase and support site?
Sure! X is a great choice to style any kind of content. If you want to process support requests you would need to add a plugin to do that as it’s not part of the theme’s functionality. In our experience X works great with any plugins coded to WordPress best practices.
Here’s another issue, I can’t add the license into my dashboard. Therefore, I don’t have a [+ Topic] button the support forum. According to this, it says:
Purchase code could not be added to user account: License already exists for this Envato Purchase Code.
Where does it exist? Because it’s not in my account. So I need several things to happen:
1. Add my license to my dashboard or fix the error that’s not letting me add it 2. Install my license into my website or fix the error that’s stating it’s on another site when it’s not. It was on juliathie.com and it got removed by magic. I didn’t touch it. 3. Figure out why my Active Campaign form doesn’t show up outside of being logged into WordPress. It worked just fine until I transferred the code from a classic element to a new one. So fix it! 4. Give me access to the support that I paid for. Because as far as I know, I should be able to add a topic. Why is the [+Topic] button missing in my account?
I expect a reply soon as this needs to be solved ASAP.

You obviously don’t read. I already mentioned that I don’t have the [+Topic] to get the support. I already have an account. Therefore, there’s no way for me to contact support using your instructions because they’re three steps:
1. Knowledge Base: Your knowledge base doesn’t answer my questions. 2. Search support forum: Spent hours doing this. No answer to my questions. 3. Post to support forum: MMMM, if there’s not button to post, then I guess I can’t post.
So what’s the solution? Oh yeah, here. So either you give me an email or phone number to call or you figure out why I don’t have a [+ Topic] button in my account area to post to the support forum. I only have it in the general one, which I posted there and you people haven’t replied to my post.

I checked and there are two accounts under the name “JuliaThie” so you’re probably logged into the wrong one.

First of all, it’s not multiple comments to the same issue. Each comment has different issues, but sure, as long as my issues are resolved. Give me a minute to go ahead and contact you through the profile page, maybe this time you’ll answer as I’ve done that several times. It’s also been weeks.
Also, if you’re getting annoyed by my comments, that’s NOWHERE NEAR AS ANNOYED AND FRUSTRATED I am with your theme. But it’s not like I can ask for a refund right?

Well not registering the purchase code is common sense. I even mentioned that in my initial comment: “Here’s another issue, I can’t add the license into my dashboard. Therefore, I don’t have a [+ Topic] button the support forum.”
So hopefully the other account is the problem. Although I couldn’t even imagine what email it would be because I tried to get password reset for all my emails. Someone else probably used a different email I don’t have access to.

If you can’t access your account please use our contact form on our site and send us an email with your purchase code. We then can find the account associated to it and help you access your account.
For the millionth time, this theme keeps revoking my license when I put my site into staging. Then it removes it in staging because it feels like it. I can’t have this happening over and over. It’s making me lose my work because now that I transferred over the staging site, it’s telling me that the license is being used on another site. What other site?
There is no other site. It was this site!!!!
So fix this crap. I really hate this theme, but I’m stuck with it. Too many issues.

I’m at the point where I have no patience for you or your employees. I posted already to the general forum regarding my issue in posting to the support forum. If you don’t have any other way apart from posting to the support forum to provide me the service I paid for, then I will have to sue this company because at this point, you’re not helping.

The full download no longer includes Photoshop files. None of the links online point to downloadable PSD’s. However on the website it states “X comes with all available PSD files so customizing your theme was never as easy as this. Simply open up photoshop and mess around with the design till you like it. You can then export any part or element of the PSD and use it in your theme.” Where can I download the psd files?

I’m sorry about that. We removed them from the listing a while back, but didn’t take down that nested page on the site. The photoshop files we had were barely relevant anymore after years of improvements and updates to the theme. They are no longer available for download or included in the theme package.

This is possible with custom CSS, but not with the theme options. This works in our other theme (Pro) when using the header builder, but we haven’t added it to X.

My license is not being accepted via X within wordpress. I continue to get an error stating that my license can not be validated. I have been using this theme since 2015. I did not have this problem prior to the most current update. Please help resolve this issue as I do not think this is a problem on my end. It says the version is 5.2.3 but when we download, it still the version from the Last Update on 20 July 17

Yes indeed! X comes with two page builder options. One is Cornerstone, a page builder we have built in house that most of our customers use. You can learn more about it here. It is included with every X purchase. We also make Visual Composer available for those customers who wish to use that tool.

I am looking to purchase the theme and have a few questions:
1. Is it possible to show full-width videos in subsections both on desktop and mobile?
My client has 3 videos and after each section, like home, services, about, he wants to show a video with an overlayed CTA button on top of it: for eg.
(home | fullwidth bg video + cta button | services | fullwidth bg video + cta button) video in the scrolling page area only, but no links in the menu for these videos
2. Is it possible to click on a portfolio item and the related project open in an overlay on the same page with more content like slider, video, text etc in the overlay?

1. Videos for sections are getting converted to images on mobile due to the size to provide a better experience on mobile.
2. You can check out the functionality of our portfolio on all of our demos. There is not a popup feature but you can use the single pages and the individual post types to achieve something similar.

You can add sections/rows or a slider that have a background video which have a button on top of it. Please go through all our demos to get a feeling for what our theme can do. We showcase most of our functionality in there.

I own the X theme. I have tried to contact X twice (a couple weeks ago and yesterday) through the pre-sales form, but I haven’t heard anything so I thought I would try here since it’s sales and not a support question.
What is the difference between Cornerstone in X vs Pro? I know you just added V2 elements to the standard theme for Cornerstone, giving more control to elements. Does the content builder for Pro expand on those control options. or is it essentially the same (other than adding a header/footer builder)?

That means you’ve already assigned the license (and you don’t use a purchase code for a support extension). Please contact us directly with your account info (email, name, and purchase code) if you are having trouble logging into your Apex account.

Why is version 5.2.2 for XTheme only available on the theme.co website and only 5.1.1 is available here. Shouldn’t the most current version be available here as well?
