Hi, a presale answer. 1) Why in your test site there no example for the sidebar gallery in listing items? No listing item have one. 2) The customers can upload images for the sidebar gallery? 3) Photos on sidebar are clickable? Opens in a lightbox?? 4) In the listings pages, it’s possible to put a link to share the ad on the socials? (Facebook,...)? In the documentation there is written that it’s possible, but on your test site, there is no button in the listing pages that allow you to share on Facebook. thanks!

1. It seems our designer didn’t want to include that element in the single listing pages.
2. Unfortunately sidebar is only editable through backend, so the customers won’t be able to upload anything to it.
3. If you add Image element to Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar, the item itself is not clickable nor opens up in lightbox.

Regarding our demo website itself, we have featured all the options available in the theme, and thus creating unnecessary elements that slow down the pages. Also the accent of the demo website is definitely not on optimization, but on showcasing content.
As for the Listing themes, they are in general a bit slower than Blog or Portfolio themes.

Pre-Sale question: I wanted to know how the link between the payment and the authorization to post ads with paid packages. I try to explain: if I want to buy a PREMIUM package, I click on “buy” on the “package” page. Once clicked, what happens? You are redirected to a Paypal page? And once paid on Paypal, the system redirects us back to the site and we are only now allowed to insert ads as a PREMIUM user?

In order to connect listing / directory website with your PayPal account in order to receive payments from customers, you need to input your PayPal account ID (email address that your PayPal account is registered with) and off course chose desired currency. In this way visitors can make payments for paid listing packages and then they will be able to add listing with paid listing packages functionality.

2) Automatically directed to the Paypal payment page
3) The user pay
4) After this step, what happens?? Does the site automatically directs the user on the page to insert the ad? Then the user, after the payment, can automatically insert ads with all the benefits of the PREMIUM package? Or is it always the administrator who, in the backend, must attribute to that user the qualification of Premium user??

After payment listing will be set to pending like listings with which doesn’t require payment, and when availability runs out (if Availability of Listing (in days) is set) then listing status will be changed to pending again, and after that admin need to approve listing after another payment. If there is no limit, listing needs to be approved by admin just once. Admin needs to approve listing because you can receive spam or listing with inappropriate content if this privilege is granted to users.

I buit my website with your theme, that I buy, everything works good till few days ago when the maps, in the search page and in the item single page, stop works and now doesn’t show nothing only a grey background. I try to refresh the google Api Key but nothing is changing. Before the maps problem I didn’t change nothing in the settings. Can I help me how I can fix this problem?

Google now request usage of Google Map API key, so it needs to be created and authorized with your account for specific domain where it is needed, in this case your website. After registration you just need to enter your Map API key from theme options. If you continue to have problems just submit a ticket to our support at https://elated.ticksy.com and provide site link and WordPress admin access so they can check if it is set correctly.

Hi!
I installed the theme and never touched it for it’s a project. Just added a couple of products to the listing and put the project aside.
When I came back to it, everything looked broken.
- Google maps doesn’t work ( seems that now we need an API key )
- Arrows from the menu are replaced by numbers
- I have to trick the browser to get to the backoffice by retyping me password all the time
- I tried to add new items to the listing, but they do not appear
I updated the theme but it doesn’t change anything.
Any ideas?

- Map API key is required from version 1.8 https://www.screencast.com/t/xIhxwKEc and it is integrated because it is now required by Google. Simply register and authorize MAP key for your website and enter it from theme options.
- This is probably due to cros origin error, which can be fixed trough htaccess and you should ask your host to assist you with this, but also you can contact our support trough our support forum at https://elated.ticksy.com
Regarding login and listing problem we really need to check this on your installation because everything is working on our testing environment so please contact our support team and also provide WordPress and FTP admin access so they can investigate this further.

1. Text is inside elated listing plugin so you just need to change it or to translate it with poedit software or you can use some plugin for that like maybe loco translate.
2. Fields are default so only option is to edit theme core files or to hide them with css code.

Such an option doesn’t exist unfortunately and achieving this will require modifications, so we suggest to sell adds space separately or to create custom form for amount of adds packages and then to send invoice to the user, or maybe you can create adds packages with WooCommerce or to use some much simpler payment gateway.

Simply change first main color from Elated options > General https://www.screencast.com/t/QhblGXp2EU . For some Visual Composer elements on a page, you may need to change colors directly from element options if it is set from there.

Main theme stylesheet is style.css inside search-and-go folder but it is not advisable to apply changes directly since changes will be lost when theme us updated. Use child theme instead and add modified css trough its style.css field or apply it from Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS field.

Hi, I’ve been reading a lot of comments on here (from the past year) about the function of ‘Keywords’ on the home page. Considering there have been lots of requests for it – is it possible now (or anytime soon!) for the theme to filter results using tags as keywords? I also want to filter results using subcategories. For example on the demo site – you should be able to put ‘Italian’ in the keyword field and then go to a list of Italian restaurants. Instead is says ‘0 results found’ which is ridiculous really. If this is not possible to do within the theme – can it be done via custom coding? Thanks

Thank you, I appreciate that. This feature is very important, essential actually. If users already know the name of a Listing – then why bother going to a directory to look it up? Users of a directory want to know what listings there are that cater to a specific keyword or ‘tag’.

Hi, great looking theme. Before I buy this i want to know one thing. Now on the homepage the visitor can choose between 3 fields, Keywords, All locations and All categories. I want to delete the field ‘keywords’ and I don’t want the user to see the search field and type something in the dropdown menu’s locations and categories. Can I delete all of this so that the user can only choose a location (which i added in the menu) and an categorie?

2. Demo isn’t optimized, and we have average hosting plan just for testing purposes. With good hosting provider and by optimizing site a bit you can easily enhance loading time and page speed.
3. You just need to register your MAP API key and then to enter it from Theme options > MAP API field.
4. Yes, theme uses unique domain and all theme labels are using it so you can change or translate them with poedit software, but also if it is easier for you, you can also use WPML plugin.

The header navigation is wrapping the menu and adding the last nav item into the sticky nav. How do I fix that? Also, is there a way in the settings to make the logo bigger? I’ve tried adding a large size but it hasn’t worked.

After comparing the localhost install and the server install, it is found that the text box that captures the google api key under elated options is not appearing due to some file being corrupted. request if you can share the files that i could replace on server from local for having the elated options ->general appear on the screen. please help. thanks!
