I’d like to show the Category Description on the Product Category pages. I’ve added the descriptions, but I don’t see them on the front-end. Which theme template do I need to update? Or is there a better way?

Hi Andy27! We are sorry but this is not an option and this is a too advanced modification to be supported. What I can suggest is to use Slider Revolution or LayerSlider instead the Uncode module. These great plugins, that are part of the theme, have this option. I hope this helps!

Hi, no you don’t have to change any files, you just need to install these plugins and insert in the page with the dedicated Visual Composer module. Let me know if you need help with this. Please remind that you can also insert Visual Composer modules in a simple page, post or portfolio.
The problem is, my client already using this option “Post media display” and using Carousel as a styling, the thing is they create a lot of post already, really a lot..so make any changes or use another plugin it means they must re-upload photos again for each post, which is takes ages to do it..:/ so the best option to somehow modify those bullet point to thumbnails…if you can tell me in which file i should look to do those modification, maybe i will be able to handle my self this task..
Hi Andy27, ok now understand but this can be really tricky, the carousel is created at page loading by JavaScript, you file the plugin code (Owl Carousel) in the plugins.js file and the Uncode codes in the app.js

Checking at our internal support db I don’t any major issues with this plugin. Uncode is certified by WPML and also runs smooth with qTranslate, but I never tested personally Polylang. At least you can try how it goes for you and in case notify our team, so if there major issue arise we can offer a refund, this is not a problem.

Excuse me, another thing: is yout theme suitable for code customisation? I mean, I’m a developer. I could need to modify some templates, make custom queries, add custom post types, taxonomies, metaboxes, you know, regular wordpress custom development. Is it easy within your systems or should I spend hours in reverse engineering your code to avoid breking something?

I’m an advanced fullstack programmer: what I mean is: should I know some particular framework? Do you maybe use some framework of your own? Complex templating system or the like? Or do you simply stick on pure native wordpress api code? I’m asking all these things because it seems there’s no tech docs about your themes and how they’re built/coded.

Uncode it’s based on custom framework, it’s a bit different from a simple WP theme and also from other themes and practically it doesnt’ have templates even if you have complete admin options on any templates. if you are a developer I think you’ll love it (otherwise as suggested above test and let us know if you don’t like it).

Hi pixijade! This option is available for the Posts module, the module that create Portfolios, Posts and Products, yes there are also crop options to have all images same sizes. Let us know if you need more infos!

Hi pixijade, if you upload different size images and you want they are the same sizes the images will be cropped, this is a logic fact. Otherwise as you can give them the same width and height and have also without crop? By the moment you give them the same size they are cropped. I hope this make sense and helps!

I have search all the documentation but can’t find an explanation:
I want to apply filtering to a Media Gallery, filtering that looks like the first section on this page – https://undsgn.com/uncode/features/isotope-grid/
I enable Filtering in Media Gallery > Module but no filters appear on the page. The media items do have categories
What could I be missing?

Hi, since updated Wordpress and plugins recently I’ve been getting the “Failed to load content css: /wp-content/uploads/uncode-fonts/uncodefont.css” message popping up on pages, posts and product pages. Was there ever a fix made for this?

It only shows full content if chosen, or displays nothing when i choose excerpt and choose char number. Hi Gza, the whole Uncode is based on 12/12 subdivisions and natively is not possible to have a 5 elements row, in fact you never see in none of our demos. I have this error now… Your theme (Uncode) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page. If in doubt, check with the author of the theme.

I already bought several licenses of uncode – for my next project I need support of YoastSEO. So will VisualComposer 5.2.1 updated to PageBuilder 5.4.2. As mentioned on the PageBuilder-Plugin-Site the plugin is now SEO-friendly and compatible with YoastSEO. So this would be a great benefit for all users.

Yes – that’s my problem too. the shortcodes are not detected by YOAST if they are not rendered and so all the hints of SEO (no images, no links, and so on) show up. I thought this would have been solved in the new version. is there another workaround?
Hi faba1982! I thought too this is a missing from Yoast plugin than VC. Unfortunately there is not a trick we can suggest to make Yoast reads VC contents, the only solution is to use an external tool that read the page generated contents.
So will there be an upgrade to PageBuilder 5.4.2 anyway?

No this is something related only to the extra Uncode demo lateral panel that is not part of the theme, it’s not a problem with the functionalities of Uncode, just you cannot set frame on specific homepages in our demo. I hope this make sense.

I want to buy another licence of your theme for one of my shop, but first I have some question about woocommerce and uncode.
In my shop I need one simple function, but I dont know is it possible to activate. Is it possible to use two featured images for product? One for default image, and the second one for the image that will appear when mouse coursor will be over that product. This function can be seen on some sites, but I did not found it in your shop examples. So is it possible to achieve something like that?
Hi egahen! No sorry actually this is not an option you can have a small image with zoom inside or lightbox but not an image swipe. I saw some users with something similar on Uncode but don’t know what plugin they used, sorry.

A client of mine has purchased this theme and asked me do some changes. I’ve finished most points except for one. The client wants a button which triggers a click on the navigation menu.
I’ve added a simple jQuey trigger click event on the .mobile-menu button as following: jQuery(’.mobile-menu-button’).trigger(‘click’); Paste this in the console on this page: https://undsgn.com/uncode/homepages/blog-editorial/
This makes the menu appear with the overlay. But the white cross for closing the navigation doesn’t get shown. I’ve also added the close class but still no progress. If you could let me know which event should be triggered on which element i would be grateful!

unfortunately in this particular case we can’t provide the same hook used by Woocommerce, since we can’t allow to change classes or tags to the title on product loops in particular.
I can only recommend to edit the file itself in the theme or through a child theme.
