If you want to create a new user simpler than using the sign up widget, then you will have a hard time doing that as WordPress requires a username email and password by default. We do not change the default implementation of wp. You can probably find a plugin that can change this functionality though but I cannot recommend any.

After updating WordPress to new WordPress version 4.9 mobile ads are not displaying it shows blank space, How can I fix, I already check the theme panel section, everything is perfect in that. But no ads are display in mobile, website – www.easyengineering.net

Please test again. Your ads work fine on all mobile devices I tested with. I cannot see any problems with the ads not on desktop and not on mobiles. It could have been a caching issue or temporary adsense issue

Since the version 8 update, the single image custom_link settings is not working. To be more specific, when I create a single image with a custom_link that, onclick the user should be redirected to, it only shows the * href=”#” * on the site, instead of the link configured in the admin panel. How can I fix that?

Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. This is most likely a plugin issue. I cannot replicate this on my end. Thanks for the hint. It was a problem with the tagDiv plugins, once I disabled them, it was working again. Since we are not using them yet, I think we can survive with it so far. Thanks for the good job. One of the most complete news themes so far. I’ve been using it since 2014.
Hello guys. After update to WP 4.9 i cant create new oder editing pages by using WPBakery Page Builder. If i add a new element e.g. Big Grid5 it will show in Backend but it is not possible to save changes. Nothing happend and the changens will not appear.
Maybe any ideas?
Using Newspaper 8.1.2; WP 4.9 and the last version of WPBakery you give us in Themeupdate (Version 5.4.2).

We have tested WP 4.9 but found no such issues. I have just tested the big grid exactly as you mention but it shows up on the front end as expected. Please check your cache. If you cannot save changes, that indicates maybe a plugin conflict.
Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

I asked last year or maybe the year before that if you were willing to create a sponsored article option and you confirmed yes in future updates. (Sponsored articles like BuzzFeed) it shows an AD badge on the homepage layouts and inside the articles. However, still no sign of this. Any progress?

Ah okay. I actually hired a freelancer to do this and he done this successfully. However, because I’m updating the theme it always gets lost so I’m tired of inputting the code back in. (Comes part of a plugin) I am willing allowing you to include it in the theme for the sake of not losing the changes?
Basically you input a little bit of code into the blocks to display the AD badge, Sponsor name and small pic.

We have tested wp 4.9 and the only issues found were a few css styling issues in the back-end only. Meaning a few colors on buttons in the theme panel and buttons in the demos section misaligned. The front-end is not affected. You can update if you want if you can live with a few styling issues until the next update. We usually recommend waiting for the next update but since it’s just a minor css issue, you can decide for yourself if you want to update WP now or wait for a theme update so we can implement the css fix.

Yes you will still be able to activate your theme but I do not recommend keeping old versions of the theme especially pirated ones. Nulled themes most of the times have injected code in them that create security breaches. I recommend installing the new version you download from envato after the purchase.

OK then I will buy it but I don’t want to lose any customization already done on existing theme. Is it possible to install new theme without losing mentioned customization? There is no much customization but they are time consuming and i want to avoid that.
It depends on what customization you mean. If it;s just settings from the theme panel, you can export them and then import them in newspaper 8: https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/ If you made code modifications, then there is a high chance they will not work in newspaper 8 as the code is changed for many of the theme files.

Tagdiv composer will show this error when trying to edit a page that contains shortcodes from another page builder. In this case the page will have to be re-created. Try the page builder on a new page, not one that has existing content. If the error is not present on the new page, then you will have to re-create your pages. if the error happens on new pages as well, then please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate.

Sorry but our theme has no settings to grab news from different sources. We built our theme with creating content in mind, not grabbing it from external sources. You can do this with plugins but we have not tested any such plugins so I cannot recommend any.

Hello! 2 questions: Our articles are quite long and via Jetpack they are automatically republished on Facebook entirely. Is there a way to republish just a few lines of the article and not the whole article? 2. We are using an autopublishing plugin. The issue here is that Future image isn’t visible, only images inside post. We didn’t have this problem with other themes. Obviously it has to do with the theme. Anything I can do? The theme has no settings to auto publish articles and it does not have control over what gets published and what doesn’t. I already mentioned the theme has no settings in this regard. You will have to find a plugin that can offer such functionality.

Please note that the theme has no setting for advanced Facebook sharing control over your content. Maybe you will find plugins that can provide the functionality you are looking for. There is no solution I can provide from the theme side.
