Hello, there is a problem with fusion builder 4.9. After update of wordpress the fusion builder doesn’t work. I don’t see text elements and there is no chance to use the default editor. I have Avada 5.2.3. What’s the problem?

If you have updated to our latest version and still having an issue please check your language files. We have discovered and can confirm that there is an issue because of a reported WordPress bug due to the WordPress update to version 4.9 -> https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/42574
“MediaElement upgrade causing JS errors when certain languages are in use e.g de_DE-formal”
The issue applies to any language file in this format -> de_DE-formal – to resolve this please change the WordPress Core to regular format -> de_DE

Hello, How can I update to 5.2.3.? I’ve registered my purchase. Just happened: I’ve upgraded to WordPress 4.9 (as it was advised by a security people I’ve worked with, always update), and now when I edit an element and settingd page pops up (for example for Separator element), I can not close it by neither clicking on “X” or “Cancel”. It stays in the front. I hope by upgrading to Avada 5.2.3. it will be fixed. Thanks!

I’ve installed the theme and removed it because I’ve lost control of the design. I want to install the theme again but I can’t. Wordpress ask me if I want to store the php file on the pc. I’ve created a new database and deleted all the old files (I think) but I can’t re-install the theme. Please help.

Both the Revolution and Layer sliders are included with Avada and all you need to do is install it in order to use it with the theme.
Allow us to explain to you in detail how bundled plugins work, in regard to theme included plugins, it is not unique to Avada and applies to any theme that includes a plugin:
- The theme purchase includes the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins, at no extra cost
- As of right now, Avada 5.2.3 is the latest version of the theme. The latest version of the Layer Slider plugin is version 6.5.5 and Revolution Slider is version 5.4.6.3
- Because it is plugin territory, the respective plugin authors include a global update call for the plugins and it does not apply to theme included plugins -> http://d.pr/i/C4PWvO
- The next release of Avada will be version 5.3 which will in turn include the latest next version of the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins available at that time
- You can safely ignore/dismiss the plugin authors update notice and it will not affect your site in any way

I have a client who would like to use the Avada theme on a new website he’s having me build for him. There will be two installs of WordPress on one domain though one will be in a subdomain. Does he have to buy 2 licenses for Avada or can we use one license since both installs will on the same domain?

Hi! I have Up Date the Theme on the latest version 5.2.3 and cleared my browser cache.
But I have a problem. I want some new icons in the menu. I select an icon for the menu item. I save it. Than I save the menu too. But I get no new icons. The menu is without the new icons, because the theme dosn´t save them.
What is wrong? What can i do?

Upgraded to latest version 5.2.3 and also WP 4.9. All is working well but we notice on our client’s e-commerce site using latest WooCommerce version that while viewing the mobile site version you can not see the description or the purchase button, only the product photo thus a customer cannot buy anything on a phone or a tablet. Any suggestions something I am overlooking. Was working fine in 5.2.2/WP 4.8

I have updated Avada 5.2.3 and WordPress and in Theme Options there are some options (the screen) you see everything in black, you do not see the options to adjust Suggestions please. Thanks !

We can 100% confirm that Avada 5.2.3 is compatible with the overnight WordPress 4.9 update. I will suggest that you clear your cache plugins and browser cache. If that does not help also deactivate all 3rd party plugins one by one to check

I have to say I am really disappointed so far in the support we are getting…it’s almost like getting a brush off. With support, we need help fixing things that are broken, not tips on where to look. I think people buying this should consider and I’ve been getting the runaround for two days….

I am afraid that what you are saying here is false to say the least.
How have you been getting the run around for two days? There has been 11 exchanges between in under two hours and each time, you have been given very detailed replies and options for what you need to/can do to mitigate this.
There is no brush off and that was made very very clear in that ticket. There is nothing broken with the header, the Theme Options or settings you are using. It comes down to how you have designed the header and the size of the menu and the options that can be used
Naturally, if you are going to freestyle resize the browser window by hand the menu items are going to need to shift. But I do have to say it again, resizing the browser window by hand is not indicative of how responsive design works
There is noting wrong with your install and the Theme Options are all adhering. There are things to consider here:
- Header padding set to a % one suggestion is to change that to a px value instead
- Consider the actual size of the menu item, some are triple word menu items; Nothing wrong with that, but it affects how much space is available
- Consider the padding between menu items
- Consider menu typography size and letter spacing, some of your menu items are three words in length.
- Consider the size of the logo
- Avada Theme Options >> Responsive (there are several responsive break point options) -> https://d.pr/i/ssZJGi
Each facet has an effect, various adjustments will make part of the whole

To reiterate the above the responsive breakpoint options are what we would highly recommend you to change, when you resize your browser window, it shows you when responsive queries come into play. Clearly your menu in your video is wider than the header responsive breakpoint: http://d.pr/i/PmW6Dy
This is something that most themes hard code and you cannot adjust so you’d be stuck without a way to further customize.
However Avada is far more advanced than that. With Avada, we allow you to adjust it to your exact needs so that does not happen. Simply tweak that header breakpoint setting and voila. And the other breakpoints (site content, footer, grid, all work the same. You have absolute full control over this directly at your fingertips.

I’m curious if it’s possible to turn off the scrolling affect on featured images when you embed a video in the post page section. I’m currently embedding some video and I like it being featured in my fusion grid layouts but I also need a featured image so that it can be shared to social media. What I don’t want is the scrolling back and forth between the video and the picture, I only want people to see the video. Is that even possible?
