Hey there, i’ve bought and installed Avada last week. I started to work on it now and i’m willing to use the University theme but i don’t see it on the demo’s session. Will it appear automatically or do i have to do something?

Have major problems with version 5.3.
1. Some warning on Page Attributes section of a page editor in admin section: Warning: file_get_contents(/home/c/ci88279/public_html/wp-content/themes/Avada/includes/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/c/ci88279/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-theme.php on line 1042 2. Sticker header doesn not appear. 3. Secont vertical scroll on every page 4. Element with animation does not appear.

Hi Guys, love the updates and the new themes. Just one thing, on the new Freelancer theme the diagonal seperators in some places have a 1px gap showing depending on the size of the window in the browser (Chrome).

Hi, I have updated to 5.3.0 but it still shows to update theme to 5.3. Avada You have version 5.3.0 installed. Update to 5.3.0.

Yes, this is a known issue and you can safely ignore this as our developers are aware of this and will fix this later on with a patch or mini update. Please note this does not in any way affect your update and you should be good to go

Old Avada user here, did tons of updates before and never had any issues till this new 5.3. (with WP 4.9). I am not sure if its WP or Avada but i would like to share what i did and whats going on.
I usually stick to the same update process, which has always worked and suggested by Avada also. I activated stock WP theme -> deleted Avada theme (leaving avada-child) -> then uploading new Avada theme through the WP update (using the avada.zip file) -> files were uploaded successfully -> updated the necessary plugins -> cleared browser and also the Avada themes cache (in the Advanced -> Dynamic CSS)
Then I activated my Child-theme. For some reason, all my widgets are gone. I also have some theme styling issues between languages (using WPML). I did update WPML also to the latest version so I still cant figure out what the issue is.
I did try 2 times, refreshing all cache between installs with no success. I will try to once more through FTP.
Thankfully i created a full backup but I just wanted to post here my experience. Any update would be great. Thanks

Basically the process of uninstalling Avada and than updating it is not at all required, also switching from child theme to parent theme is known to have some instances where widgets are being missing specially if you are switching to a whole another theme but they should come back as soon as you switch back to your original child theme. Secondly there should be no theme options change and all your theme options should stay intact all time when updating your theme be it a child theme so there must be something else that messed this up, also which version did you update from to 5.3.0? did you update from a very older version?
Please also note that when using WPML it uses different theme options for different languages and since your WPML was outdated that could have caused the issue too, i’d suggest first updating all your plugins to latest version and than updating theme.
Also, if you are on any version that is 4.x you can simply take a backup of your theme options and import that backup after update to 5.3.0 and that will fix your theme options issue.

I did update everything (plugins and WP) before updating Avada. The plugins and, WP and Avada werent old as this is a new website started not long ago. I updated from Avada 5.2.2 to Avada 5.3.
I will try and download the theme once more from TF and try again the upload. Lets see what happens.

Hi! I updated my site WP 4.9 and also updated Avada Theme, now I can use Fusion Builder but there is a new problem: now only in Chrome my logo looks smaller

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

Hello! Before the last update I didn’t have any problem with your theme. Now that my support license has expired, the first one!! After updating the theme to the last version, I can’t reach to modify nothing on the theme options page. Did you know yet about this bug? Any suggestions? Thank you
I just read that many users had the same problem. So suppose you are going to publish soon a patch or something like that to fix it.. is true?? Or better to downgrade ?
I already did a test with incognito mode or deleting all the cache but the issue is still there!

after updating, the system tell me there is another update but the name version is the same. Anyway, the issue is not fixed. So I have a question for you.. can I open a support ticket if my support license is just expired?? That’s an unlucky situations as I never needed your help before and now that is expired the support license I really need your help!

With expired support, the system is automated so you won’t be able to submit a ticket, however we can help via email if needed to support@theme-fusion.com
But first, this sounds like maybe cache is not cleared out yet. Make sure to clear browser, plugin, server (if using it) and double check. Or check in another browser as well to see if you get the same, that will show if it is cache or not.
The latest is Avada 5.3 so if you are on that version, the update notice should not be there.

We already have parallax scroll in our theme which can be set as per your own choice by using our One Page Text Link element, basically you can scroll to any point by using any text on the page or by using a menu item. With the introduction of our newly released version 5.3 we have just released a new feature called Full Screen Scrolling that you can check here please => https://avada.theme-fusion.com/whats-new-in-5-3/
Simply scroll down to see the new features we have introduced, however regarding the above extensions we have not tested them officially with our theme so can not provide you with a solid suggestion on them.

You can’t make a page for this page. Then it won’t show anymore, that’s the problem. I can make an page portfolio and use this as portfolio-items but can’t make an page portfolio-items and use the slug portfolio-items. So was hoping that I could make this slug as 100% width instead.

I see what you mean there, i thought you asked to make a 100% width portfolio page somehow, basically that page is an auto generated page and you can not change archive / auto generated pages from the back end, you can only change their slug but in any case you can make your own archive pages by using our portfolio element and redirect the users to those pages and than you can have any type of layout that you want, making that specific page 100% width will require custom CSS in this case and if you need assistance with this please open a support ticket with our team

After updating to WP 4.9 and Avada 5.2.3 the Fusion Builder wont load any elements in theme options or page content. Content Area´s are empty and within Theme Options no element is loading

If you have updated to our latest version already that is 5.2.3 there should be no such issues incase your cache is still loading the old files (sometimes this happens) so please clear all kinds of browser and plugin cache and check with the issues again, you can also check from some other browser or an incognito mode in Chrome and you will see this working just fine however if not please do open a support ticket and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

FYI it is a WP 4.9 based issue only occurring on german pages. Users who have this problem should temporary change the backend language to english

If that is why you see the issue (if you are using 2 languages) please simply change your language file name to a proper format and this will go away, no need to remove other language at all.
The issue applies to any language file in this format -> de_DE-formal – to resolve this please change the WordPress Core to regular format -> de_DE

There is no need to do this, it is enough to change the backend language to get it done and the backend working again, Wordpress is already working on a hot fix. i posted this here to give others a quick solution because the only thing you did was to refer to the Avada Support Ticket
Yes thank you, our post is not fully clear on that and we are going to update it accordingly now. We have been anxiously waiting for WP 4.9.1 for this as well as a few other issues on their end.
