Hi it’s time to update my UnCode site and I am looking at other themes but also thinking about continuing with Uncode does this theme let you have a standard right menu but also add a burger style menu that then overlays a fullscreen menu? Or is it not something that is possible within UnCode?
Hi MrMGM and thank you for interest! No sorry you cannot have 2 combined menus, if I understand correctly you need an horizontal menu with an overlay burger menu. Let us know if you need more infos!

That’s what I thought.. but when I do those options I don’t see anything at the top. It only shows the feature with text when I hit the hamburger menu. In the image below, it shows my menu as ‘Test’ Is there anything else I need to do, or do you have an example of the top bar in action?

I changed it to horizontal per your recommendation and all the css got killed. I tried to re-import using the demo options and everything seems okay but when i go to save anything in the theme it literally goes haywire css. I’m getting the PHP max_input_vars warning but I put it to 3000 already in my php.ini and .htaccess file. the php info tells me i am at 3000 but your wordpress theme is still saying 1000.. could that be the issue? not sure how to fix this.
Hi Chronotrigga! As you can read in the docs not all hosts permit you change the PHP Max Vars, you can do this but there is not effect since there is a master limit from the host. Yes if you lost Theme Options the only problem can be the PHP Max Vars limit or an out of date PHP Version. To verify please install this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-php-info/
Then check the PHP version (I remind that the official WordPress required version is PHP 7): http://undsgn.d.pr/cayyfG/3p28Kphj

First of all, you are advised to deactivate all the extra plugins you have, seeing that each plugin consumes vars.
Just to understand do you have this issue only now or this is a new installation?
I only have this issue now but I updated the theme. I will update the php (I’m on 5.6) but in general please see my php info: http://jasonxpan.com/salon/test.php
It does say my max_php_vars is 3000. Even though it shows it, it isn’t in effect because of the master limit?
edit: upgrading to php 7 doesn’t work either. still having the same resetting css glitch. any other recommendations?
Hi Chronotrigga, I cannot access your link. Have you verified the Max Input Vars limit (master setting)? Let me understand the problem with few more details. Do you mean that when you save Theme Options you lost settings or you have settings but in the frontend you don’t see CSS?
Seems like it was the max_input_vars issue. I spoke to my host who added a user.ini file because php7 requires it. I did another test and it works great now! Thanks!

Hi, okay, I will change my rating of the theme. I have been looking for help previously, but I my support was outdated, and I therefore ended up having to fix things by myself. But is it possible to get the new version of Visual Composer? Because when I try to download the theme again, it’s not in the plugin folder.

Hit another dead-end with they’re support. They aren’t just useless, they’re toxic. When I asked how to address and change tabs from JS, first they replied, that it’s a modification and a separate, paid service. Tho I never asked for them to modify anything, just to give info on they’re product. Isn’t that what support is for? In the end I received link to w3c’s “target” selectors example. It’s like they are intentionally misleading. And I did clearly ask if they support modifying their theme, and if they have/would provide info on structure before buying.
Hi Egoists! It’s not a secret that Uncode’s tabs are a Bootstrap tabs implementation. Maybe you seem to be clear in your explanations but maybe that’s not so. In fact, you asked us a suggestion how to hide the tab menu and our agent suggested what is a simple way to proceed to your customizations. You answered us aggressively, reporting that the correct answer would be to suggest a JS method to show the elements (which is the opposite of hide). Maybe it’s not clear to us what you need to create and edit, but generally help with code changes is not what comes as support terms. Anyway, we are asking you to better explain what you need to accomplish as we respond to all requests for suggestions or support we receive.
It’s not. Just your support manager couldn’t be bothered to provide a decent answer. “how to address and change tabs from JS” is very specific and it’s super short version of what I wrote in support ticket. It requires one word answer and it’s a name of the funciton: .tab(‘show’) When showing one tab it hides others automatically. So you should get your fact straight. Remember, I already made it work so I know how it’s done. See it’s simple and doesn’t require an 8 hour work day to accomplish. It doesn’t require of you to code anything or provide step by step guide. So maybe you should just cut it. And it’s a straight up lie about asking to explain better. No one asked that. But that can be seen all through your replays. Twisting facts, misleading and blaming client for your own inability to hold your side of agreement.

Hi there, I asked this question before, when I select any text color on site, it will use white color as the accent color, so it seems like the text disappeared when you selected them, today I found the reason, I make a totally new installation by following the tutorial, install wordpress > install uncode > install plugins > import demo data, everything is good until I do the last step, install the child uncode theme, after I installed and active the child theme, the problem appeared again, the accent color turn to white…
