I just updated from Jupiter 5 to 6 but all of my page content is missing that was in the Visual Composer. Any fix?

I have two questions:
- Do we need to update child theme if we go from version 5.9.4 to 6.0.1?
- If I use auto theme update via Jupiter Control panel, are theme’s plugins also updated (RevSlider, etc)?

1. You don’t have to update the Child theme, it will inherit from the Parent theme.
2. You will need to update the plugins separately by following this document:

Feeling more than a little let down by this theme….. 
I watched the video about the release of version 6 and it looked like this new version of the theme was going to be a complete game changer for site development. I was so stoked after watching the video, that I bought the theme immediately after watching the video.
However, there is absolutely NOTHING in this theme that looks like the video in terms of how pages are built and edited. There’s only Visual Composer slightly modified, but nothing – and I mean NOTHING – like what the promo video shows for version 6.
It’s so disappointing. I guess I just feel mislead and a little lied to. I expected something great and revolutionary that gave me unparalleled freedom to build – a true WYSIWYG editor – and this is nothing new and revolutionary. Unless I’m missing something, It’s just the same old Visual Composer experience that we’ve all had for the last few years…

I just bought this theme 2 days ago and I have a problem with it . When i went to the support page it says my purchase code has already b been registered to someone else. On the website, the translation of mini cart is OK, works when you load (first time) whith the correct language : http://nautica.sites-web.net/ (french), http://nautica.sites-web.net/?lang=es (spanish) or http://nautica.sites-web.net/?lang=en (english) but when you change the language with the languages switcher, the mini cart translation doesn’t work.
I set WPML for a translation based on the browser language.

Hi, I’m sure there will be custom coding involved, but I’m asking because I want to make sure your options page is ready for that. The thing is, in Jupiter 5, it was not possible to, for example, add a new font to Google fonts selection in the Font settings or adding a new setting or a screen without editing the parent theme files.
So by your reply you mean there are now some filters or hooks that can be used in the child theme or plugin to change te functionality without basically hacking and rewriting the options page core files?
Actually, my reply meant we need to hack and customize the core files to achieve that request.

I want to buy your theme. But I have concerns of all the features and plugins that come with it. When I use Pingdom Tools to test your Main Demo classic blog page, it loads up 23 JavaScript and 13 CSS files.
My website is a simple blog with text and image only. No WooCommerce, no Slider, no Google Fonts, no videos…
Can I disable all your JS and CSS except for the minimum required for a simple blog?
For example, if I install the Kale web template (mainly for its header and blog), can I disable all the JS and CSS related to WooCommerce, Slider, Google Fonts, etc.? Can I disable Visual Composer plugin as well?

It’s possible to disable the JS and CSS of the item you don’t use.
However, it’s not possible to use the Theme without the Visual Composer plugin because it’s the main Editor of the theme.

After digging deeper, I found that Jupiter used to have “Intelligent Components Technology” feature which seems to disable unused JS and CSS automatically.
But this feature has been deleted since version 5.9.4.
You said “It’s possible to disable…”, does the theme has control panel to do this? Or, do you mean using a child theme and functions.php to disable unused JS and CSS?
I am not a developer. I don’t know how to write codes. Hopefully it’s not too complicated for me

I have the frontpage with a VC background video (page section) and text overlay. When the page loads, the text pops up and the screen is black, waiting for the video to load. Is there a better way to do this? Would love for the video to load quicker or have a page overlay that disappears once the video starts playing.

What does it mean by ‘PSD Files Available for All Templates’? Does this mean I can have a psd file of the template and edit it to have my logo etc so see what it would look like branded with my own branding?
