Can i use the visual composer on top of the theme? So i import a demo and i can customize the theme with visual composer, like add a contact form, or social media buttons,etc.

I had some trouble finding how to remove the blog author, blog category and blog date from the ‘Blog list’ page template. The options in the theme didn’t appear to do anything when the Blog Meta was disabled. Here’s how I forced it:
From themes/the7/template-parts/blog/list/blog-list-post-content.php
Comment out or remove the php in line 24 ”...echo presscore_get_posted_on();...” .

Most top themes have a option on the page (radio button, list etc) to remove the page title and/or sidebar for one particular page i.e. the home page. This theme does not seem to have any, at least not obvious to do those things simply when making a page.
I installed one of your themes and those pages do not show title or sidebar but do not show how that is accomplished. Nothing is done differently with the ACF options on the backend of the page.
I can’t find a way to share attachments on here, and TinyGrab is dead.
I have 20 of the top themes on ThemeForest and this is by far the hardest to set up. It is discounted and now with VC so I thought I’d give it a try. It is sure needlessly confusing and over complected, especially since most of the samples are only one-page sites. you should not need a PhD to cook Ramen noodles.

Thanks for those. https://d.pr/RwPNu1 this is what my side options look like in WUSIWYG editor for a page and why I brought this up. I do not see the nice visual radio button options your sample shows and the drop-down just has two of those options and not NONE for sidebar.

Short answer: because The7 a multipurpose theme with WPBakery page builder (formerly Visual Composer).
More detailed answer: though WPB Page Builder is industry leading page builder, as each and every other page builder it generates.. how to put it.. not the best code It’s a tradeoff you have to make. Either you write code by hand and get beautifully coded site (if you are very competent web developer), OR you use a page builder (which is simpler and faster). The market demands page builders in multipurpose themes. We’ve chosen the best available and delivered.

It depends on what you call “custom product page”, but generally yes. You can use WPB Page Builder to create unique page layouts for WooCommerce products (but they will still be recognisable as WooCommerce) OR you can create completely unique pages and only add WooCommerce “buy” buttons to them. So the choice is yours.

After the update, now the ‘Slideshow’ option under screen option for the home page cannot be disabled, but it can be disables when I am on a different page. Wierd. How do I permanently disable that option on all pages, as I use Visual Composer and would prefer to use slideshow on the page via that rather than the theme option.
