Last question (hopefully), when hover across product in Shop Page. Is ‘Add to Cart’ bottom bar the only option? Or do I have other styling choices?
No this is the only one. When you have a variable product for example the text is different (Select Options) but unless a bit of extra CSS code this is the only option. Do you have some suggestions?
Hi, I plan to buy the theme for another customer project. They need product catalogue, product search, product comparison, multi language. No Shop is needed only presentation of products. Can I realize this with uncode? Can I use portfolio to present and seach products?

Hi, I am an illustrator and I am creating my website using the Uncode theme. I have two questions:
- I cannot assign categories to my images in the media library with a bulk action.
Can you suggest a way to assign categories to more pictures at the same time (just like we can do with the posts)? I would need something like this because I’ve got more than 100 images to show in my filtered gallery. Shall I add a specific plugin?
- I imported my blog from Blogger and most of the pictures inside the posts are shown blurred. These are the “resized” versions, like big thumbnails, that I created with the Blogger editor directly while writing the posts. In my previous blog they looked good, but here in my website look like they’re very low quality. When you click on them, however, the original file opens in the lightbox and looks perfect even in my new website, so the source file is still present and perfect.
Is there a way to automatically adjust the look of the “resized” versions in the posts, without re-importing ALL the pictures? Fingers crossed!

1. Unfortunately this is not possible, this is not a native functionality of WordPress (sadly it is not a native function of the official WP core) and it’s the best we can offer. 2. Not easy to debug just in words this is something we need to check, it seems that you are not using the original images (they were cropped by another theme to work with your old theme). 1. I created a media gallery into the page and the user can filter it by category (and that’s cool!). My purpose is finding a way to assign the categories to more pictures at a time, to save some time. Is the Updated gallery useful for this purpose in your opinion?

2. Can you please verify if works for you now? We don’t have other reports and today I have worked on support only without any issues. In case try another browser maybe a cookies issue.

1. just wanted to add that I’ve installed a dedicated plugin for this feature (Media Library assistant) and it works well on assigning categories and tags to media in bunch. Seems compatible with uncode.

Hi, you have not updated the Uncode Core plugin or deleted browser cache in order to force the browser to serves the new files.

- delete cache - in-private browsing - used safari (which i never use…) - auto update - manually update via FTP - update core to 1.5 - upgrade php to 7.1 - de-activate all plugins except core - de-activate child theme and activate main theme

Note that Accordions and Tabs can be used only on first level rows, so if you are inside an inner row or inside a slider you cannot use them, this is a limit from VC itself. To test open a new page and try to insert an accordion (first level row). I hope this helps!

Hi! Uncode, as other creative themes that use custom Version of VC never used the Frontend editor, not in this version not in previous version, so there is nothing related to 1.7. Note that this is specified in the main item page, if you are used to the Frontend editor and you missed this info we can offer a refund but this is not a bug.

Hi! What version of PHP your host is offering? It seems you have a PHP version prior to PHP 5.6. Uncode is sold as 5.6 compatible, you need to ask your host to update to a new version (this is free). Just to note that the official PHP version requested by WordPress is PHP 7: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/ Ask your host to give you PHP 7 (not PHP 7.2) or at least PHP 5.6.
Ah! Thanks for the quick response. I was able to upgrade to 7.0 without intervention and it is working. One suggestion, maybe a requirements page or info on the future updates. I bought the theme a long time ago!

Hey there guys! There’s a bug in the performance settings. I’ve activated all options for images as seen here and still the page is serving me 800 pixel pictures even on a 1920 desktop screen. This causes havoc with page rankings and loading times / scores. Can you please fix this? The adaptive images was amazing… now it just stopped working altogether. Cheers!

I’m not saying you guys haven’t tested it, don’t get me wrong, your theme is absolutely brilliant and by my definition the best product I’ve ever worked with and edited on the marketplaces. I think 5 out 7 customers that ask me for a great theme get yours in a heartbeat! Hope I haven’t offended with my initial post.
1. I’ve added the multiple breaking points as requested. Saved that option.
2. I’ve created a demo/dummy page so you can see exactly what’s happening. Here’s the link. Notice there are 2 images showing. The first is inserted inside a text box using the default img src tag inside the text box, but this doesn’t offer scaling so it’s awful for scoring. The second image is a “Single Media” element with the same image as in the first one. this is what I see on 3 different 1920×1080 pixel screens. The source code shows the fact that data-path and data-guid are the full sized image, but the src is the 258 pixel picture, meaning it shows the smallest one of them all, and doesn’t go to anything bigger.
3. Yes, I have a cache plugin activated. W3 Total Cache. Saw you guys were recommending it in the documentation.
Last but not least, I would not have asked for help without instantly refreshing my Support Pack, but this is a bug. So please don’t be offended by anything! As I said before, I love you guys and your product is the absolute best!

Indeed, you are correct, and I feel stupid for not reading that article! Doh on my behalf! you guys rock! There is however one bug, it’s not bothering me at all but it looks strange. When you activate “Production Mode” the settings panel has some CSS issues to it Screenshot here. Click production mode “On” and then refresh the page. Other than that, now everything works flawlessly! Much love to you guys! Another 5 stars if I could, I surely would! haha! Cheers!
Hi Enabled! I think you have some cache issues going on, when you activate this setting the old css files for the admin are served, but if you have updated the theme you have only the updated css file. I hope this helps!
I used the “Automatic Update” feature from the Envato toolkit. I’ll try it from a different browser and see what’s happening. W3 Total is now gone and cache files deleted so there should be no issues.PS: If you could tell me the location of the OLD css file I can check the server via ftp and see if it’s there so I can give it the boot. The old CSS file has the same location of the new file, so it’s a cache issue. Have you tried another browser? Are you sure your host doesn’t have a cache system?
Heya guys! I fixed the issue, sorry for the late reply. During the update apparently the file ‘ot-admin.css’ was not replaced. Went in and changed it manually and now all is great! Thanks mates! You rock!

I have set up my .htacess with php_value memory_limit 8024M
But when i’m in System Status i see :
WP Memory Limit: [?] 8 GB
Server Memory Limit: [?] 996 MB
WP Memory Limit works but not Server Memory Limit
I have also set in my php.ini memory_limit = 8024M
What i have to do to increase Server Memory Limit ?

Hi michael-evoged! Without the possibility to have a check it’s really not easy understand the problem you are experiencing. Do you have this issue only now after few months you are running Uncode? Have you followed the WordPress docs for this? https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Have you also tested with the famous PHP Info plugin that you can download from the official WordPress repository?

Have been testing the theme for some time now. Desktop version seems to work well but on mobile view, page animation take a long time to appear which makes is really not friendly. Is there anything we did wrong for such performance? or the theme is just like that. Many thanks for your reply-Dan
Hi danzara, I don’t know what device you are testing but actually we don’t have other reports in our support (you can search also here there are no similar complaints). From here (iPhone) everything is working pretty nice in our demo, not easy create a quick video screencast video from mobile but in case I can record one if needed.

Is it possible to change cointainer width from default 1210px to 1430px without css? Hi, I have set the color I want to use as the accent color in ‘Palette” I then go to customize, General and set the “accent’ color to the new one I created. After saving, deleting cache and refreshing the website is still using the default color. Even if i go to a background element and change it to the new green color, it still uses default.
