1. You men BuddyPress Member Activity ?, check if Activity is enabled in WP ADmin – Settings .- BuddyPress – Components.
2. ok, BadgeOS badges sort of work independent of courses, you can combine various activities for a single badge which may not related to a single course. For showing this you can use any of the standard Visual Composer or Page Builder shortcodes.
3. Learning PAth works on ACtivities, so it will detect BadgeOS activities but BadgeOS addon will not detect the Learning path activities as of now.
4. BadgeOS is a huge plugin, it runs on almost all the hooks in WordPress. and the more the badgeOS badges the more the load on your site. If your requirements are simple then you can use the inbuilt Badges system in WPLMS which we recommend to our users.

Thank you for your advice. Regarding using the badge in courses (“Excellence Badge”). Could you please let me know that how we can turn off the mark. I want students to receive the badge when they finish the course. The course does not have any assignment or quiz, therefore, there is no mark for them, but when I want to set the badge it asks about the mark of the course (e.g. set to 70) as well.

In that case any mark would give the badge as on 100% completion the marks recorded are 100%, so student will get the badge on completion of the course.

Currently you can map the Courses with the Memership plans, edit the course and check the course – pricing section.

Thanks. I am already doing that. However in Edit Menu the categories tab reflects the ones related to posts. I want to use the Course Category instead. That’s an issue which could be addressed. I am using custom link to add category of courses, but I want course category as part of the Mega Menu.

I think you’ll need to contact PMPRo as you want to add this setting in their section. I am sure there is a filter which would allow to manage something like this.
p.s : If you’re restricting access to courses by Course Categories by linking them with PMPRo memberships, note that those courses will still be visible in the Course directory. A better way to achieve this would be via WPLMS Batches and enable Batch exclusivity. Students of Batch will only be able to see courses connected to the batch on the site.

You’ve mentioned that you were not able to install it properly, so this could be the reason for heaviness. The theme is not at all “heavy” in fact its memory requirements are lowest when compared to other LMS themes. Also, when your site grows big the architecture fully support it.

1. Possible with WPLMS Batches plugin, there is a switch to show batch students only batch courses across the site. So, once a user is registered to a batch (possible via custom registration forms), she only views courses connected to his batch. You can also create this as a hidden batch, so they need not check the batch.
2. Yes, they can do this via members directory, set the members directory access at WP Admin – WPLMS – BuddyPress. If you’re using Batches plugin solution for 1, then each batch also has a members section using which they can see active students in their batch. So like other active students who are taking music courses.

I assume you’re using some CDN for serving images automatically which is only triggered on page load. In that case the CDN does not initialise on ajax requests. Which CDN are you using, maybe we can give you a small code fix to enable it in your site.

I understand that but our difficulty is for the admin to add users and assign them to a particular course. Creating users from the admin panel is also straightforward but how do I assign them to a course? There was a link with steps on exporting the csv file and editing it but for a normal user this is too cumbersome so was wondering if there is a plugin that can enable this function?

Trust me it is not at all difficult. To create a csv which has 2 entries for every user, one for the user email and another for the course in which the user should be added, you need the course ids for that. There is also another use case via custom registration forms and batches plugin. Let me know if you need examples of both.

Try deactivating third party plugins .

Try disabling all kinds of cache and script minifications .

Make sure that activity streams component is enabled from wp-admin-> settings -> buddypress -> components .
