Hello. I don’t know when, maybe after last update or some time before… The problem is with the menu for mobile. Before in this theme there were different menus – for mobile version and for desktop. Now the Newspaper theme does not support separate menu for mobile like before, and the old menu still are there in mobile version and it can’t be updated or removed. Now I want to use the same menu for desktop and mobile version, or at least to update the old mobile menu… Please help. My website> http://portal.taxexpert.md/

Our theme has the same mobile menu as the main menu if you do not use the mobile theme plugin. If you use the mobile theme you can create a separate menu for mobile devices. Please read this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ Unfortunately the mobile menu style cannot be changed to the one in newspaper 7. Sorry.

Does newspaper have an option to hide header while scrolling down and show header while scrolling up like newsmag? I need to know and will decide on my project accordingly. How is easy/difficult it to achieve this, if it is possible with newspaper?

Whenever I want to install theme from the Wordpress, it doesn’t seem to want to upload it. It says: Ooops! Page not found. Why is that? I can upload any other theme, free or bought. In the past I had no problem with Newspaper theme upload.

I don’t think the problem lies there. I tried to fixed it with the first method but nothing has changed. Whenever I want to upload Newspaper.zip to Wordpress it loads 30% to 40% and then just ends and shows me the front end page with the message: Ooops! Page not found …
As for the FTP method – I prefer Wodpress back end. It is too much stress dealing with FTP. I don’t understand a thing.
I also tried to install other themes and I had absolutely no problem with them, only with Newspaper 8.5 version, which tells me there is something wrong with it. As I said I had no prblem with the previous version 8.

What is the difference between original Newspaper theme and nulled newspaper theme ? Regardless of viruses and embedded malware

The most important bit would be the nulled theme is illegal and full of injected code tat severely cripples your site’s security.

In order to remove more from author you can use 2 methods: The css method:
.td_block_related_posts .td-related-right {
display:none;
}
You can add the code in the theme panel-> custom css box.

Can the logo size be altered in the header? A friend of mine recommended the theme but warned me that he had to redesign his logo to meet some pretty narrow requirements (limited sizing).

The logo size for most header styles is limited to the container size because of the header ad. There are are however 3 header styles that show the logo in the exact dimensions you upload the logo in. These are headers styles 9, 10 and 11

I added a single image to columns and uploaded an image and tried to change size through “thumbnail” “medium” and by setting width*height options. But, nothing worked and Full Image is showing the output. how to change the image size.

Sorry but our theme does not have such an option. You will have to use an ad plugin that can provide such a feature. Unfortunately I cannot recommend any. You will have to try a few of them out and see which one works properly and provides the implementation you need.

These would be the theme capabilities regarding ad placement in the post page

Post templates display the ads in different positions, check them all. Maybe there is one that looks as you want.
Anything more would require either a plugin that can insert ads in specific locations, or maybe inserting the ad in the post template files directly. There are solutions in the forum for inserting ads in different locations in the post structure, you could search the forum for these. A quick example here

Problem: It will be better to let Google to see FULL page- not paged.
Example: http://blabla.com/article-example/ – 150 words http://blabla.com/article-example/1/ – 120 words http://blabla.com/article-example/2/ – 200 words http://blabla.com/article-example/3/ – 150 words
Every Page have small number of words, it will be better for Google Index that you have one page with 620 words. I know I can do it on same page, but I want it paged… every page – more ads I show ! So…
Is is possible to make a page: http://blabla.com/article-example/?full and it will be Canonical URL and Google will index that page, not split pages.

I don’t think this is related to the actual theme of a website, or can be influenced by theme perspective. Post pagination exists regardless of theme used. I found this detailed guide in the matter if you would like to take a look

The demos are made with the tagDiv composer, this is considered the main page builder provided by the theme and will receive many more features in coming updates. Visual composer is still provided in the theme package and updated regularly.

Hey I just installed Newspaper 8.5 and the the plugins from the download via FTP, but “td-multi-purpose” does not show itself in the “TD Composer” even though “td-multi-purpose” in installed and activated.
Can any help me here?

That is unusual. So the multi-purpose elements are not displayed in the tagDiv composer, despite the plugin being active.
You could try a theme reinstall by FTP

Reinstall all theme plugins from the package you have downloaded, they are all in the plugins folder. Or from the theme plugins section in the dashboard. Check if the multi-purpose elements are displayed, they should be all at the end of the list

Pre-Purchase Question: Is your theme gif compatible? Meaning does your theme support gifs as featured images?

I don’t believe there were any tests made with GIf’s as featured images, it might work however. The documentation mentions featured images or videos

Hi! I’m new to the whole Newspaper template so maybe it’s my fault, but the post template style 7 seems not working for me any more. I mean, at first I installed the travel blog demo, and it was great. At a single post, the main picture was fitting from side to side on the screen. Then i was trying to change some parameters, and after a while it became as narrow as the main content itself. And I can not change it back to fit from side to side. So almost the very same as on style 3. And I am unable to fix it. Please help!

Provide a link to your website pointing to a post example, we will inspect it. That would happen if there is a background color or image set in the theme panel, the website will be boxed in that case

One major bug I found that on my site https://www.gammerson.com whenever I share my post it is not showing link preview but when I change theme it works fine I can’t find any solution of this so I am changing it.

The theme has no sharing settings or configurations of it’s own (meaning no OG data )This must be done with the recommended Yoast SEO plugin or similar plugins

Hi, on my site I have a BIG GRID FULL 4 block as first row in home, but images are with vertical format (I’d like in horizontal format). I see there are options under “block settings” to enable or disable thumbnail size, it is supposed to assign a 534 X 462 size but images are not that size…

After inspecting it, it seems some design is missing from the grid, causing the issue. Please try to edit the page and remove it, then place it again. Check if the problem is solved.

Love the theme. I’ve used all the top-rated themes, and I am stuck on Newspaper!
I have three feature request that would make the theme perfect.
1) The ability to use the overlay top menu with posts. 2) The ability to choose either a dark menu theme or light when using the overlay menu. 3) The ability to use the overlay/slideout menu AND a top menu. I currently use a plugin to add another slideout menu.
