There is an error in the WPLMS theme, all the people who register on my website with an email address “hotmail” do not receive the confirmation email for registration. Why ?

The error can be that email gets delivered or not. If any specific email client is not getting messages then it is not a code or theme related issue. As previously suggested try using third party plugins for sending emails such as wpMandrill and its BP Addon

When the people register on my website with an email adress “hotmail.com” (for example) they do not receive the confirmation email for registration.
Well the code for sending email is same for all ,there is nothing special code written to restrict emails to hotmail domain .This might be connected to your webhost or hotmail might be filtering emails from your server as spam . so consult your webhost on this .
Ok thank you for your answer I will contact my webhost. What’s odd is that before it worked fine when I installed WPLMS and since a few months it does not work anymore …
Email clients sometimes black list IP’s and send their mails in spam, a good way to fix this would be add a different ip for sending emails, help link
I contacted my webhost and they assured me that he had not blocked the email domain “hotmail” ... So the problem comes from WPLMS. At first, it worked fine when I installed your theme and doing updates the problem occurred.

Got another pre-install question:
Since I intend to install WPLMS in a wordpress multisite network, when a visitor will click “Register”, they will be redirected to the main-website.com/wp-signup.php where they will choose a username and input their email address > mainsite will send an activation email > user activates the account. Then they navigate to wplms.main-website.com to access the courses, buy… etc…
My question: What role will that user have? By installing WPLMS there will also be added the 2 new roles (instructor / student)?
My guess is that the new user will be “student” by default. In case a user wants to become “instructor” they contact us and we will manually change the role?
I’m a bit confused because I tested this with other themes on a wp multisite setup and I learned that users are only showed here: Login with SuperAdmin > Network Admin > Sites > All Sites > Edit wplms.main-website.com > Users
If I click edit on any other sub-website from the network admin > sites I can only see my own user (only the Super Admin user).
I’m a bit confused and I don’t understand why is this happening.
You said WPLMS is multisite compatible so I thought you can help me. I’m searching google for 3 hours and reading codex and any other article regarding this but I can’t find the answer to my problem.

ok, this question is more related to multisite than WPLMS. Here’s the answer : Yes the new user is student by default as it is forced by the theme. However in a multisite environment a user can have multiple roles. He can be a student in one sub-site and Instructor in another sub-site. http://prntscr.com/i9swgm
Hello, after updating the plugins to the latest version, I started receiving the following error message on the registration page, after register:
“warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()…../vibe-shortcodes.php on line 3292”
The Vibe ShortCodes versión is 3.4
I assume you’re using Custom Registration forms feature, please go to WP Admin – LMS – Settings – Registration forms – edit your current registration form and save the settings part of the registration form.
I did what you tell me and I even eliminated the custom form and continues giving the same error with that version. Can you think of anything else?

Nope, it will only work on site mode. For App, we can record it internally and then sync it with the site, but it depends how many requests we get for this as we have many feature requests for the App.

That is loading since “forever” and nothing happens. The loading bar from Safari finished loading but the loading animation keeps… well… animating on a white screen.

Thanks. Regarding the instructor demo, we disabled the assignments now, as we found users are uploading a lot of data on our servers, so most likely the link is disabled.

So do you need to remove the make public button from it ?
I need they can add note for each unit or paragraph (the same as the training video that you provide) and instructor can answer their questions, but they cannot discuss and other people see and the discussion (only take note and ask question with instructor)
In Notes per paragraph there is a icon for making the note as public and inviting discussion. There is also a icon for notifying instructor to respond to this query.

Hi there, pre sale question: Is it possible to have a course that is just a video embed from youtube or uploaded to the wordpress site? It won’t be any quizzes, the student just will have to buy a membership in order to watch all the videos (courses) that he wants for a period of time.

The following is to request support with respect to the WPLMS theme, specifically a bug that occurs in the footer and in the revolution slider:
- In the section of the footer, when selecting the 3 column model and filling in 3 custom html sections, there is something that we could not detect that does not allow updating the content of each html block
- On the other hand, the section where we have a slider when we configure images and texts, when they are displayed in phone, all images and text are unconfigured.
1. for footer widgets issue please create topic on our support forums . refer : link .Share admin credentials and your site url in a private reply there .
2. For that you need to configure your revolution slider for mobile view also : refer this to edit your slider with responsiveness support : link
On the wplms support site, there is a tip to show multiple price options on product page ( https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/show-multiple-pricing-for-course-via-woocommerce/ ). I would like to show the product name along with the pricing. What will be the best way to achieve that.
I see that there is a wplms-woocommerce plugin that you also have. If it helps I would be willing to buy the same. But my understanding is that it is useful in case of variable pricing for the same product.
In my case there are 3 different products. So we have a 5 level course. The user has the option to enrol only for level 1 or Level 1 to 3 or Level 1 to 5.

Can each variation contain different courses. As in variation 1 contains course A and variation 2 contains 2 courses “course A and course B” and so on….
