I guess I was able to fix this, I found it auto wraps, So I just increased the text size.

Hello wonderful creators of The7 theme. I just discovered a possible glitch but maybe it’s just me. When editing a site that has been built and running for a while with many customizations I occasionally forget a color I’m using or I just want to peek in the wizard under theme options. Now I am definitely aware of the warning about starting from scratch and I always use “Customize Existing Design”. However, in 2 of the sites I manage that are using The7 theme (after latest theme update – v.6.1.3 (Feb 20, 2018)) I made a change in there or I exited without making a change and updating and then all of my custom css has been deleted. I was luckily able to recover the lost css both times though. And now that I am aware of the “glitch”, I keep local backup on my pc. I just thought I’d inform you guys and gals. As always I love The7 theme and love the awesome customer support you all provide.

Please add a customization option for post announcements. Show meta data for the post, such as author, date, taxonomies,comments, etc. Now they are shown all without setting.

In the settings I have turned off the floating menu but it is still active. How else can I disable this?

It said outdated version of WPBakery Page Builder Design Options is required to review and save it. But I can’t save it. Error messages below:

I just purchased this theme. I installed the parent and child theme and the The 7 “configuration wizard” did not install. I have no way to customize this theme.

There’s nothing to install – the Wizard is built right into the theme. You can find it in Theme Options > Wizard.

Why don’t use “Albums” post type for that?

Nope. You have an “Albums” post type, where each post is an “Album”. You upload pictures into each Album (bulk upload is supported). Albums can be displayed in full width masonry layout. When your visitor click on a certain Album – he/she will see images from that particular Albums in a lightbox.
If I understood correctly, that’s what you’ve described in your initial comment. And coincidentally that’s how all our themes work since 2011

I’ve tried to import the Main Content from an Azure website and it turns out that they have by design a 230s time execution restriction, so it dies with:
<head><title>500 – The request timed out.</title></head>
500 – The request timed out.
The web server failed to respond within the specified time.So it’s not possible to import that. I’ve read there’s an alternative, however it requires changes to the import tool. Most probably you are using a caching plugin in your WP. You need to wipe the page cache.

i followed your instructions to purge cache from total cache plugin, also followed your link and changed the memory limit to 256mb in wp-config
went back to the page, uncheck and clear save, still doesnt work
