Everything is great but for some reason, all of the content that I have over parallax backgrounds no longer show up when I use parallax backgrounds. It works when I turn parallax off. I’m using the classic editor – always have. Never really preferred the other way. Am I missing something?

Hey guys, I’ve been thinking about using Salient Theme for my Blog (procrastination.com.br) and I saw one of the demos that is simply amazing.
But I have a doubt. Is there any shortcodes for an audio player? I’m asking because I have podcasts on my blog, and it would be perfect if you have something like an audio player shortcode.

So for some reason I m not able to center a column photo on a phone. For example I make a row with 1/6 + 4/6 +1/6 and I have images in the 1/6 areas and when I center the column and center the image it still shows on the left of my screen. Is this a bug? I did it to both the column and the image box itself and when I shrink down my browser or look on the phone the image still stays on the left. The only option I have now is to hide it for mobile. What if I want it centered and not hidden?

1. salient/nectar/redux-framework/extensions/wbc_importer/demo-data/company-startup/theme-options.txt is the file that contains only the theme options which can be imported via the Salient options panel > import/export tab
2. Can you provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing on mobile?

Hi, I uploaded the latest Version of 8.54, however the Salient WooCommerce CART folder is missing. The old “salient cart” is still there. salient/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 3.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.3.0,
Hey superhealth, the cart folder was removed in the latest version as those template overrides are no longer needed with the new compatibility. Did you not delete the old version of Salient before uploading the new one – what method did you use to update?
Should I delete the Cart Folder completely then? I just uploaded into my CPanel? The cart is messed up on the actual website.
Hey again, yes – the salient/woocommerce/cart directory should not be in the theme anymore. If you’re going to update manually with FTP in the future, make sure to remove the old version of the theme before uploading the new to avoid issues like this. Or you could update automatically through the dashboard: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/

Is there anyway to have transparent headers on WooCommerce category pages? I want the menu to start transparent and then fill in with colour on scroll. I’ve looked everywhere and tried everything in the theme and shop page settings but still no luck. I searched online and this is all I could find about it https://themenectar.ticksy.com/ticket/277765

As long as you set a page header on your assigned “shop” page for WooCommerce, the transparent header should get activated on all archive pages

How do you create a page that doesn’t have a slider/header at the top? To be clear, I still want the sitewide navigation at the top, but not the header image. It seems like that header space is there, by default. Am I missing something in the “page header settings” section of the CMS for each page?
Also, the navigation sticks to the top of each page. I’m unable to remove the stickiness so that the navigation scrolls up as the page scrolls. I thought I could uncheck the relative box to achieve this, but it doesn’t seem to work that way.

1. You’re definitely not required to have a page header, if you previously had one assigned – make sure nothing is still filled out in your page header settings metabox, including the background color etc. If you have all fields emptied, please share your URL so I can see what’s causing the space
2. In the Salient options panel > header navigation > logo & general styling tab do you have the option on for “Header Remove Desktop Stickiness”?

When will you have a woocommerce compatible theme update ready? I’m not very happy to see you are asking people to downgrade their woocommerce versions to accommodate you. Without prior notice, which I did not get, I couldn’t know that upgrading woocommerce was a bad idea.

Slowing Nectar Slider Fade – I’d like to make adjustments to the speed of the nectar slider but wanted to do this change with a child theme folder. I’ve basically copied the same folder structure into the already installed child theme but the speed change within the nectar-slider.js file isn’t being applied. Is it as simple as copying the folder structure over or do I need to call to that child-theme nectar-slider.js file? I changed line 2849 from 900 to 2000. This is the only change I need to the slider, is this the best method to make sure it stays the next time we update the theme?
I made the change in the native JS file and it’s working, but will “jump” to the first slider image after the slow fades between the last two. So, the first image loads, fades slowly into the second, fades slowly into the third and then jumps back to the first without the slow fade. Is there a way to fix that?

Hey onocomp, there’s currently no known issue with the Nectar Slider not being able to display images/videos – from your URL, it looks like you’re using demo data slides which are calling sample image URLs from the demo server that are getting blocked on your setup using SSL . Have you tried to actually upload a photo from your own server yet on the slides? If so and it’s not working, could you please open a ticket in regards with your admin credentials so we can take a further look into this? https://themenectar.ticksy.com

Hi, There is an issue with my map.
