your demo content install is outdated. Why do you have the old Cornerstone in the demo content. What a joke.

There is no “old Cornerstone.” The demos work just as they always have, however they were built with Classic Elements not the new V2 Elements so keep that in mind if you chose to use them.

Looking at getting a new licence for a project I’m starting. However the changelog on the x/cornerstone site (theme.co) indicates version 6.0.1/3.0.1 however the buy link (coming to themeforest) indicates last update in November 2017. how do I get the latest version?!

We are releasing major updates in phases to make sure everything is going smoothly. In this case you can download the latest version from your apex dashboard till we push it on to themeforest.

i updated to 5.2.5 and it says it is the latest version available (5.2.5) and also i cannot see any update available to x theme under my dashboard after updating to 5.2.5. how can i get the 6.0.1 and why it is not showing this update in my dashboard? thanks!

If smooth scrolling is disabled does menu highlighting of active section still work ?
For active link highlighting to work, the one page navigation feature does need to be enabled.
On one-page page when navigating to a section why the URL does not include the current section like #!/team in this theme https://the7.io/agency/#!/team does? Can custom html anchors be inserted inside the one-page page ?

I have practically no knowledge of building a website and am looking at doing so through support and videos. I am creating an affiliate website and looking at hosting the site on Go Daddy. I was keen on buying the X theme as I liked the features, but want to know if it is compatible on GoDaddy hosting as I know Once I buy your product I won’t get a refund if there are hosting issues. Also, can I also add cuelink (affiliate program) plugin. Please advise. Thanks.

Thanks for writing in! You can certainly use X on any hosting environment you can run PHP and MySQL on for installing and using WordPress. The biggest thing to make sure is that your resource usage is appropriate so that it can handle things well.
With regards to third party plugins, X is built on WordPress best standards, so any plugin that adheres to these same standards should work fine with the theme. That being said, there is a nearly limitless array of possibilities at play when utilizing WordPress themes and plugins across various hosting environments, so while we cannot guarantee compatibility with all plugins, any well developed plugin should work as intended, although you may wish to implement some customizations if the plugin has frontend output. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins, so any questions you have regarding the implementation, customization, or troubleshooting of a plugin must be directed to the plugin developer and they will be able to guide you from there.

Hi. I tried re-activating theme in my site, which now uses a proxy server (hosting reqs.) and i’m getting a curl 307 error while trying to install my purchase code. Do you have any idea about this? This is an amazing theme with limitless capabilities! It takes a while to get used to ( depending on experience) but after a while, it becomes second nature. As for the customer support… well it’s by far the best I have ever experience with any other theme. Outstanding work. Worth every penny.

Meh I wouldn’t recommend this theme. They have a validation plugin called Cornerstone which needs to connect with their server every 12 hours. I did purchase the theme, have the licence number and API key but still gives me the error that its not connecting to their server. Kinda sucks! I am not able to find any support for it on the site, knowledge base, or community support. Just pass.

1) Cornerstone is not a validation plugin it is a page builder. If you have validated X you don’t need to validate Cornerstone as explained on our product validation article.

Then it must that theme X is having issues validating. Im trying to enter my api key but always states “Could not establish connection. For assistance, please start by reviewing our article on troubleshooting connection issues.”
When i click on connection issues its no help.

Our theme does not have an out of the box feature like that, but we have bundled extensions available with the theme which you can use to achieve the effect you are interested in. The one that I would recommend is Essential Grid.
Hi I checked your live preview on google and It got a decent rating. I was wondering if the load times are going to be similar. I don’t want to use themes anymore because they are so resource heavy…. However they look way better and are quicker for a build. So tell me do you think I can still get a 85 rating on Pagespeed insights with your product active?

Hello. I’d like to purchase this theme and build a website for my client on a subdomain on my server. Once they are happy with the site, I plan on installing WordPress on their server and rebuilding the site again. My question is if I use the purchase code on the X-theme on my server (which I plan on deleting after they are happy with the site), can I then use the same purchase code when it’s on their server? I want to make sure I have access to extensions during development but I don’t want to have to purchase two copies when only 1 site will be built.

Thanks for writing in! We provide on “staging” environment for working with a license, so you can work on that and be validated but then apply the production validation to the live site when needed.

Inside the apex account you can go to Account > Licenses and in there you can define a staging url which then will be validated in addition to your live site.
