BRIDGE – We re using “simple quote” on many pages with different background colors. We can edit the background color and the font for the text and author, but how do you change the text and author text color when the background is dark?
What can we add in the shortcode for the text color or how can we apply a css to the text color?

If you don’t want to change h3 and paragraph in font options then you need to change these colors with css code below:

You need to update the theme to latest version first and you will have all new demos listed in Qode import. I was just going on my responsive views and I’m having trouble fixing them:
The slider height and content is not responsive. There is a white and grey bar that shows up as I scroll down or I just have the content completely cut off. The weird thing is that is shows fine in my desktop browser – but looks terrible on my mobile device
All the styles I created for the text on the home page disappear, I’ve added them to the media queries (all with !important tagged to them) but none of the style show on my mobile device. They do show up when I look at them on my desktop in the inspect element mobile view.

Video background is not supported on vast majority of mobile devices (no video on mobile), so it is important to provide Video Preview Image for Qode Slider video slides (it will be shown on touch devices and when video is loading on PCs/laptops). Also it is important to provide all three (webm, mp4, ogv) video formats (fallback) since some browsers (PCs/laptops) can only play certain type of video. If you are using blog masonry page template adding new post from WordPress back end will automatically show that post at the top, just make sure that you have set featured image for the post.

You guys should definitely consider adding a new mobile menu style (like side area) as new standard. The current one feels / is outdated. I read through the comments this is a frequent request going back 3 years already. You should plan some time apart for the developers and have this implemented as quick as possible.

You mention Qode Elements Holder as the way to get equal height for columns. But I see Qode Process Holder, Qode Options holder, Qode Animation holder but no Qode Elements Holder. What am I not getting here?

It could be same element, but if it sin’t then please try to uninstall the theme and to install it again since maybe you have updated it incorrectly. Also try reinstalling WP bakery Visual composer plugin, activate parent theme and test this again.

Visual Composer is totally breaking this theme. I’ve made the adjustments to the htaccess file using the SubstituteMaxLineLength, but I’m still encountering the same issues.
If I need to make server configuration changes just to use this theme and STILL cannot even modify a page, I cannot recommend it to my clients for them to purchase. Please advise.

I don’t see why I should have to renew a support subscription for a simple installation of the Bridge theme. There are no advanced hosting configuration that I’m not aware of for this template. I also don’t see why there would have to be server side modifications just to deploy the Bridge theme. I think that’s ridiculous.

Support can test this, but as I already explained it is due to server resources and configuration, so when you install theme on local installation over XAMPP you will see that it is working, and after that you should actually contact hosting support and to ask them to debug this and to see which setting is preventing VC from rendering.
Also, another common issue is that if you have previous VC version and latest PHP 7.2 plugin won’t work. You need to update the theme and Visual Composer plugin since latest plugin version contain PHP 7.2 compatibility so try that also.
