Can the theme be automatically updated (including all depending plugins necessary for this theme)? I use a plugin (easy updates manager:https://wordpress.org/plugins/stops-core-theme-and-plugin-updates/) to make sure my site is secure by installing all updates automatically. This is a deal breaker/maker for my because I work in security.

Yes, when you register the theme via a token key, that enables auto update. The auto update method is the same as the default WordPress update. You go to the updates section in the WordPress Dashboard, click to select the update and then click update. The rest is handled via the updater and you do not need to log in to the server using FTP to do it manually

That does not happen and will require a user input because some of users have child themes and other kinds of customisation made into direct theme files as well so it has to be the user choice to update or not, we can not force update all the users so we have to give them freedom of update however we strongly recommend staying updated all the time.

Currently, the portfolio element will only show a [...] at the end of the excerpts. This can be clicked on to read the full article. We can also use translations to change this to “Read more”. This will however not show as a”read more” button but rather a hyperlink

Hello, I’m trying to do some maintenance on a site I built with Avada 18 months ago and the theme options page just isn’t working correctly, its all blue, or yellow, its not possible to make changes etc. I have updated all plugin’s and the theme to 5.4.2, I’ve tried all browsers. Do I really have to pay $48 for support to report the back end of theme isn’t functioning correctly? I love this theme and the work you guys do is amazing. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I would request that you do ensure that the theme is updated stepwise. If your theme is on version 3x then we first need to update it on version 4x and then finally to the latest version of Avada

What exactly do you mean by Video website in this case? can you please provide some more detailed explanation on your query for us, we do support YouTube, Vimeo as well as Self Hosted Videos in Avada and you can host them using our elements for each.

Avada can show videos via the slider (we have three different slider types), as background to containers. We also have the youtube/Vimeo video element that can showcase the video (Although we do see your videos are self-hosted). We can even show videos in a lightbox/modal popup

We are using this theme on 2 sites, and users are complaining that when they add product or products to their cart and click on cart or checkout, it says that the cart is empty. That is actually because that is a new page that might not be included into the demo archives yet, however you should be able to import any page of our demos individually as well using our Fusion Builder Page Import method as mentioned here => http://bit.ly/2lLRowS

Hi,
We’ve never used Wordpress to create websites before, so sorry if these seem silly questions.
1) In regards to the ‘Regular and Extended licenses’, am I correct in thinking that if we create a website using your theme for a client and we then charge them for creating the website. We are okay to use just the regular license? Does this change, if the client wants to sell products on their website e.g. e-commerce?
2) Can we create a website using your theme on a temporary domain name to show the client how the website will appear for approval, then transfer the theme onto their domain name, whilst deleting it from our temporary domain name all under the same license? Or do we need to purchase it again?
3) Is there a way to export the website from the temporary domain name and to import to another, without having to rebuild it all again?

Hello; did you make some new changes for Importing a Demo content within the latest updates?
A few weeks ago; we could easily import any of your demos and examine the settings etc. Now we can not able to import even the simplest demo; it displays an error poişnting to some PHP recuirements but all those server settings are ok; as they were a few weeks ago!
We can not import demo contents anymore!
What kind of an update can cause such a failure?
