Hello great theme i want to buy this, just a presale question:

Is it possible to change the Images size in quickview on index for example? On the demo they are square for example 250×250 pixel, is it possible to make them high not squares … 200×600 for example?

Sorry to say that but this is not possible with the help of Theme Options but you can do it by customization or by using any plugin.

How can i sort my product A-Z as default. I want them to display A-Z in categories and when a user searches.

I dont want to sort by relevance or popularity etc.

Just A-Z, if a user wants then they can change it them selves.

Few things I’ve found from checking current WooCommerce version and Schema.org microdata, against Porto 4.2…
  1. Please update the product-image.php and product-thumbnails.php to 3.3.2 version
  2. Please test for $product->get_rating_count() and only show the microdata for reviews is there is actually a review otherwise you get an error for rating schema
  3. Please bring breadcrumbs.php up to spec as per Schema Breadcrumbslist and not use the “title” hack as it’s not recognised and the resultant microdata is again broken
Mostly small things but still be nice to get them fixed…

I would like to add multiple iLightbox picture galleries using the visual composer tab section. But there is a problem. There is no problem in the first round. but when I add the picture gallery to the other tabs, it is below the page. there is the same problem in other picture gallery extensions. 2. That is the cache problem, The best practice is when you are in development mode then disable all the cache plugins on your site and server too and remove site and server cache then finally check your site after removing the browser cache. hope your issue will solve.

It seems the permission issue. Your server did not give permission to add/save the settings of the Theme Options. Basically, when you saved the theme options then it’s created the skin_1.css file inside the CSS folder, because of permission the theme is not able to create this file on your site. Please contact your hosting provider to change the permission to 777 or 755 of the CSS folder and all files.

We are not using the default cache plugin with the theme. I mean to say that if you have installed any cache plugin on your site please deactivate them and then check the changes of theme options. Or maybe you have installed the server cache as well.

You can edit it as per your requirement by editing that particular page and on the backend of the page, you will find WP Bakery and Porto Elements used on your page and by editing those elements you can easily change anything as per your requirement.

We want to reduce the generated Pictures during upload (we only need the shop sizes), atm we’ve commented out the add_image_size rows in /wp-content/themes/porto/functions.php

For future updates, now we want to do this with an action in our /porto-child/functions.php The code below should work but it doesn’t. Is this because of the ‘init’ hook? In Porto-Theme is there another hook for that?

Before some days smartwave support did some changes to my 100% Greek website https://thikishop.gr and after some changes the website is now half English and half Greek. I reinstall wordpress, porto and woocommerce and i have the same results. You can look the differences if you see https://thikishop.gr and http://test.thikishop.gr thikishop.gr is half Greek and half english and test.thikishop.gr is 100% Greek.

Hey, on an upgrade to 4.2 I get the following error when saving in “Porto Theme Options”.

“There was a problem with your action. Please try again or reload the page.”

All other areas of WP save w/no error. Please Help! this is a second upgrade and it does not happen right off, so it is many hours into this and google searches for a fix …thank you for your Help!

Sadly most of the woocommerce product pages with the Porto Theme do not pass Google’s Mobile test. Even your Demo is not passing it. You can test your Demo URL: http://www.portotheme.com/magento2/porto/demo1_en here: https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly It’s not passing it. Also, there are still some issues in Safari… Like the “Search” Text in the Search Field (in the Top Menu) ist not aligned properly, one can barely read it because it is cut off… among other things that look very unprofessional. All of this is very frustrating. Please let me know if you are aware of this and if this will be fixed. I’ve wasted so much time on this theme… that I am about to give up if this is not fixed soon, even though I really really like Porto, but not passing Google’s Mobile Test is a HUGE issue, especially for those that lose their search engine ranking because of it
