hi, i’m using post template 12. i want to custom for everi post title become xxx 2018. so in the end title it will add “2018” automatically. how to do that? if on normal theme i only add <?php the_title(); ?> 2018 on single.php. how to add it on newspaper theme. thanks

Smart lists are very sensitive to heading tags. Please check your html and make sure only the titles get the h3 or h4 you use for the smart list titles. If your images or other content has the same tag or if there are any tags left open, then the smart list will break.

Hi, helping a customer who purchased your theme and is trying to use Nelio Content with it for the featured images but for some reason, if the Pinterest share icon is activated, the featured image gets set as it’s background. Any ideas please?

Sorry but we have not tested Nelio content with our theme. Untested plugin could provide unexpected results.
The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin Contact form 7- used to make contact forms bbPress- forum plugin BuddyPress- social network plugin Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site WooCommerce- eCommerce solution WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars WPML – multilingual plugin
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.

Thanks for the response, Nelio devs pretty much say the same thing. Suggestion if i may, especially for your theme and it’s use, saving images to our servers takes tons of space, it would be great to have a compatible plugin that allows featured images to be placed from source. Thanks again.

Thank you for your suggestion. You can however limit the number of images created by our theme. You will have to asses the thumbs that are used on your site and disable the ones that are not used: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ Then use the ‘force regenerate’ plugin to regenerate your images. Try not to use too many different elements so the theme does not have to create many different thumbs. This will drastically improve your space on the server.

Hi!- After an failed attempted to upgrade, I have reinstalled the older version but left with some problems as 1- at the theme panel I can not see the “save”- button and practically I can not change anything as it can not be save. Hi! Any chances to get lenght customization for categories and tag titles archive page? I have many posts with bigger titles, and i can customization lenght in home, but not in category pages.

You can change the length of any title in modules from the theme excerpts section: https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/ You will have to identify the module you use on your category and then change the title length for that particular module.

Hello, I have bought the theme once and I’m interested in buying it again using the business demo. However the demo doesn’t respond as it should. It displays 3 fonts before it displays the chosen from the options and I GET NO SERIOUS HELP FROM YOU.
Just general replies and nobody to ask me give details to check what is wrong.
This is not good support and I’m not happy at all until I will get a proper help.

The standard debugging of the issue starts from the user side. you probably received messages about disabling plugins and increasing the memory allocation. Hello, I will criticize you a bit. In my opinion recently your team has made two wrong decisions. 1. Addition of multi-purpose designs. This is not your target audience. I’m waiting for you to add some designs for blogs, but I get design for sales of goods and services. And I’m disappointed. 2. You do not create new demos in the Visual Compouser. I’m not interested in technical nuances – VC is convenient and I’m used to it. Your theme has become popular in many ways thanks to VC. Your beautiful demos were created exactly in VK, and they liked many users. Many developers use VC and do not even think of abandoning it. Think not only about technical problems, but also about the convenience of users. I choose themes with VC and if you refuse from it, I will be forced to abandon your theme. I think that I will do this not only myself. I think you will make the right decision.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We understand your position but unfortunately the new directions we take our theme in, will not be able to satisfy everyone. We are trying to become more independent and not depend on a third party plugin. We needed better control over our own elements which until now could only be introduced through a plugin created by another author (wpbakery). We decided to create our own page builder so we announced we will no longer add new elements or new demos for visual composer. We will still keep it as an alternative solution, but the future development of the theme will be based on our own tagdiv composer. Thank you for your understanding.

It’s a paradox, but as long as you used VC, everyone around was happy. We had the theme that is easy to configure, you had money. And when you chose a “new direction” (which should be the best one), it turned out that you can not “satisfy everyone”. Rhetorical question – is this the right way?
Be it as it is, it is not for me personally to decide if the company moves in the right or wrong direction. We are aware that there are still people who use visual composer and that is the exact reason why it is still around. Otherwise we would have removed VC altogether but we have not done so You can still use VC just as before. There simply will not be any new features for it.
