Hi. I needed support and I found that I do not have it anymore. I just realized that I bought Visual Composer or Page Builder in September of 2017 because it was what the Newspaper template needed. But now you changed to TagDiv and you are forcing me to buy the extension for to have support. Is not too much? Why can not I have support if it is the Newspaper template relationship? Newspaper should have an answer.

The theme support is the only element that requires you to purchase anything beyond the main theme purchase. Visual composer is available free of charge in our theme and is already included in the theme package. You did not have to buy it. Please make sure you meet the requirements for the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ And please also test without plugins. Please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Why the icon woocommerce cart not appear in menu or header?

You could try a plugin, like for example – https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-menu-cart/ I believe this will offer the possibility to choose the menu where the cart will be displayed and also many other settings.

how to change from boxed view to wide view?

If you use a background image or color on your website, it will go into boxed mode automatically. Please remove any background image or color from your site and thew site ca go full width on pages. (posts and categories cannot be stretched to full width)

Hi guys,
This sounds like a dumb question but I can’t scroll down through the elements in the TagDiv page builder, there is no scroll bar so I can’t use the page elements because I don’t know what’s there.
Is there a way I can scroll down, or do you have a list of page element shortcodes that I can use?

You can scroll with any scrolling device: a mouse wheel, a touchpad, a touch screen device, etc. You need at least some sort of scrolling device. If your touchpad does not scroll, please check the drivers for it as any touchpad has scrolling options available.

The only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin Contact form 7- used to make contact forms bbPress- forum plugin BuddyPress- social network plugin Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site WooCommerce- eCommerce solution WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars WPML – multilingual plugin
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not. We cannot create a theme specifically for this purpose. If this request becomes more popular we will consider implementing support for it into our themes, but for the moment we do not have many requests for it. We get lots of requests and we have to prioritize based on popularity.

Okay, there are a few questions))
1) Can I extend the template to the full screen – or at least make it wider? on all my screens – from laptops to desktops – the existing width of the template is clearly inadequate,
2) Is it possible to increase the size of the second footer, and accordingly – the font size in it?
3) Can the UP button be embedded in the second footer? or at least make the word UP and arrow in a large and contrast font (in the second footer)
4) Can I integrate a QR generator?
so done in the theme of the Legend, and in my opinion, it’s very cool
(so far in demand, but this is the easiest way to go from the site on your computer to the site on your mobile phone)
5) I wanted to know what exactly changes when the template is updated?
those. if my site is in Ukrainian – and I will update the template – what will change?
6) Could you record a video on installing a childtheme – an instruction like that is very difficult ((

When I watch the demo – I do not see the advertisement on the template – it is removed by my adblock in the browser
As I understand it – it focuses on the fact that in markup you somehow designate this place as an advertising
I do not want to advertise – but I would like to put in place advertising, for example in the header of the site – my banner, allowing the site visitor to go to an important page on my website.
is there any way to change the markup so that visitors do not get this banner erased as an advertisement?
Do you have a paid support service – for example, put the same childtheme?

1. The theme width for posts/categories cannot be enlarged unfortunately. You can make the the e full width on pages though using the tagdiv composer like this example: https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_spa/
2. Yes you can handle the size of the footer and the font size as well from the theme panel settings.
3. By default the “up” button is not embedded anywhere as it is sticky and always stays at the bottom of the screen. You will be able to add it to the subfooter with customization.
4. We use a browser extension for that. You can maybe find a plugin that can offer such functionality. I cannot recommend any though as we have not tested any qr plugins.
5. When updating, all of the theme files get replaced. Your settings in the theme panel will remain intact. Customization made to the theme files will be lost though.
6. We will create new video tutorials in the future. For the moment we do not have a child theme creation video.
7. Our theme ad system does not have any anti adblock features. Adblock will do what it does best if the user chooses to. If you want a non ad block link to your site, we do not recommend using the ad spots. Any at all ads will be blocked by adblock.
As for the theme support, we do not have premium theme support. We can only offfer support based on the following policy: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Custom modification is not par tof the theme support undortunately.

Sorry but for the moment our theme does not have any option to turn off ads for specific templates. The ads are placed for all posts at once for article ads and across the whole website for header/footer ads. If you need this functionality you can try to search for an ad plugin that can offer such implementation

How can I fix an element so when a user scrolls the element stay on the screen until he is reached the footer?

Hi, there is a problem with the social counter plugin. When I try to use it PHP errors start to appear. Like below:

This looks like a PHP version related problem. Because social counter works without errors on my local machine which has a different PHP version than the hosting plan’s.
What PHP version are you using for your development and demo servers?
Or are you aware of this problem and do you have some kind of fix for that?
