Hi, I have an issue with the Logout link in the top navigation. The link does not work as intended, it just redirects to the “my account” page. Logout links on the page work fine, it’s just the top nav one that does not logout.
It seems to be missing the _wpnonce URL parameter that is present in other working links (i.e. website.com/my-account/customer-logout/?_wpnonce=xxxxxxxxxx).
The “My account” page is properly selected in Woocommerce settings. How can I solve this?

You can show the login/register & logout links in the top navigation or the main menu. You can configure in Theme Options > Menu. Please select my account page in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts. Please check Enable registration on the “My Account” page in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts > Registration Options. Hope your issue will solve if not then we have to debug your site and for that you have to contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details.

The developers of the Memberships plugin have taken a look and say this error originated from the theme in file inc/functions/woocommerce.php on line 562 where the get_{$adjacent}post_where filter is applied. Memberships hooks onto this filter using 5 arguments while your theme only provides 3. WordPress 4.4 introduced the 3rd and 4th arguments and your use of apply_filters( “get{$adjacent}_post_where”, ... ); should be updated to match how WordPress defines it to avoid conflicts with Memberships and other WordPress plugins. 6-7 hours of speed testing 4.4.0 against the older 4.3.1 and found that 4.4.0 give me a lighter site (2.2MB size) and better performance in pingdom and gtmetrix BUT it loads 2 sec slower than 4.3.1 and gives all red in Google pagespeed. When using the new option to remove VC shortcodes i am able to better the page load speed with 1+ sec but still 4.4.0 is loading 1+ sec slower than 4.3.1. which also gives a lot better performance in google pagespeed.
Can never forget about the older 3.5.1 (the best Porto theme ever) which had page load speed of 3sec and cached only 800ms (with 60 plugins). 4.3.1 cached has 1.5sec now with only 40 plugins.

Sounds good that you have tested the theme. We have worked hard on the speed with lots of the feature and we will improve the speed more in next theme update. If you like the old theme then you can use the 4.3.1 as well, fully compatible with the latest plugins.

Yes i have to go with 4.3.1 as there i have fixed the attribute and inventory issue in theme.js file. 4.4.0 has a new .JS structure and inventory message seems to be totally removed. Also 4.0.0 cached loads in 2+ sec wich is all to slow in competition with most webshops in my area loading in less than 1 sec.

I have to echo the same issue that was brought up by metuza:
I can’t use this theme as is when variable products don’t show the price or description for the in-stock products, and then show a price and description for out of stock products. This makes my customers think that it’s in stock when it’s not, then they have to click a button to find out it’s not actually available. My shop carries many one of a kind items and we don’t clear out of stock products in many cases. This feature makes shopping frustrating for the customers and doesn’t provide them the info about the products they can actually buy.
I know this was a change brought forward by other users, but I can’t understand it at all or why those users would like this – it seems absolutely counter intuitive and unproductive. I literally can’t use this updated theme until this is fixed and now have to revert back until this is fixed or an option for less frustrating variable item selection is made available. I don’t know how many more times I can go through this where an update basically breaks something and takes another update or 2 to fix.

I can understand it’s not always easy or possible to please everyone, but thanks for hearing our concerns.
I just tested the 4.4.1 update and while I did notice that the variation description and availability is restored when selecting, the price is not – at least for products with variable prices that are all the same. Unfortunately this is still unusable in my case, as a customer can’t verify the price as they’re checking variables, which may be frustrating for them. They have to refresh, then check the price again before making a selection, or wait to see it in the cart, which is not ideal.
The other issue is that I noticed the variation description and availability (while great to see it back), has now moved to the top, between the product title and main description. In just about all instances of browsing, this means the customer won’t even see the information unless they scroll up, since it’s out of view.
If it’s possible to move the variation description and availability back to between the main description and the variable selection area, that would make it much, much better, not to mention ensure the variable price is clearly displayed too.
I don’t think I’ll be able to use any updates until this is changed and I imagine there must be others that agree, so I hope you can implement these changes in a near update. I know there’s a lot of different requests and suggestions that you have to deal with, so I appreciate the work you’re putting into the updates.

2. Sorry to say that it is not possible, we have updated the minor design to show these descriptions and availability between the product title and main description. You can not change this, there is no option in the theme to do that. It is only possible with the help of customization. As you know we only give our dedicated support for the theme related issues not for the customization services.

I’m a web developer and I’ve have been referring many clients to your theme for many years since you originally launch the HTML version of Porto. I have not had any issues with your theme until recently. Most of my clients use the WC Membership plugin, many are using it with other themes. Your theme is the only one that I’m experiencing this issue with.

This is only happening on your theme, it’s clear that its a Porto theme issue. But it’s not what you want to hear, instead, you want to get defensive. This is not that kind of support I care to pay for. Thank you for your time. I will get it fix—I will recommend my clients to replace your theme and will no longer recommend it.
