Your theme plugins will be disabled if they are older versions. You will have to remove them and install them again from the new theme package if this is the case.Thank you! Bogdan B

The error you are getting is not theme related. Here is a topic describing it: https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/chrome/UBp_FtxonXU As for the plugins you mention, the thrive leads plugin was never tested with our theme so we cannot ensure it’s functionality. Hi, Thanks sofacritic worked it out now but get this error whn trying to activate tagDiv Multi-Purpose – Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. – Fatal error: Cannot declare class td_api_multi_purpose, because the name is already in use in /home/site.com/wp-content/plugins/td-multi-purpose/td-multi-purpose.php on line 43 – Any idea? The new implementation does not require the multi-purpose plugin anymore. Please deactivate the plugin as it was embedded in to the standard tagdiv composer. The multi-purpose plugin is no longer required.

The check box was added by wordpress and is present in our theme as well: https://www.screencast.com/t/cd91ZsnN1Ev If you need another checkbox different from this one, you can use the gdpr compliance plugin that will offer a different type of checkbox.

You can add such info in the top menu or footer menu. There is no extra implementation for linking to a few pages. This can be done with the default implementation of WP. This is because you use an old version of the theme. Please update your theme to the latest version by using this guide:https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and please also update the theme plugins by deactivating and deleting the current theme plugins you use and then reinstalling them again from the main theme package you download from envato.

Ok got it. We have to delete the plugins that the new update switched off and then re add them manually.
Maybe a note at the side of the change log or some form of note to let us know?

Just updated my local theme version to use “youtube-nocookie.com” instead of youtube.com directly (for GDPR). Would be great if you add that feature directly to your version to keep upgrade compatibility.

I deleted the plugins folder, deleted the Newpaper theme folder, and extracted the new files provided by you guys in their respective places. Still, the home page of my website is not showing up. I have read your other comments about deleting all plugins and previous theme files prior to installing the new ones. I have done that. But yet the home page shows up blank.

Notice that option comes from Revolution Slider and if you will deeply check it you will find a setting to turn off it. Also, another quick solution for your would be to use a bit of CSS code to hide this section from the slider. Try to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

Our theme does not have a google map implementation by default so you will have to use plugins to do it. For a contact form you can use Contact Form 7 as for a multi-lingual site, we recommend WPML.

Two questions:
1) Is it possible to change the font colors on Module MX9 and MX10? Currently the color appears to be set to white which makes it hard to read.
2) Is it possible to remove the scroll feature from the mobile view when using Big Grid 2 on the homepage?

1)You should check the TD Composer block settings. Here you can see an example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Sw0tXW0ovEa 2)Sorry but the theme does not have any such an option for this. This functionality comes from js of the theme and if you want to remove it you should check the theme core file.

The theme can only be used for a single end product, this is according to Envato license terms

If you should decide to install and use it in a different website at some point, you would have tor remove it from the previous website. One theme license can be used for one final website.

The theme is good. But, I see h1 tag of logo. I am trying to find the file contain the h1 tag logo to change “h1” into “div”, but I cannot see which file has this.

The logo will be h1 unless you use the page template with title, in that case the title will be the h1. This is the file where the heading is defined for the logo if you want to modify it

Hi, I have the Newspaper 7.0 version correctly installed. I’ve downloaded today the files of the 8.7 version to update my web to the last version. But when I install it i get a 500 ERROR. ¿How can i solve it?
Hi,
Now that is quite an old theme version, 7.0 and now the theme is 8.7.5. It is always recommended and common practice to update both theme and WordPress to the new version as soon as available and possible. There are many benefits from doing this.
I would suggest that you first check the theme requirements

If necessary contact the hosting provider and ask them to increase the parameters mentioned in the guide as specified. Also maybe they can check the error logs and identify what is the problem.
Most likely you used Visual composer to create the website pages, so after the update deactivate the tagDiv composer. Remember to update all the other theme plugins as well.
If there is still a problem after trying these suggestions, contact ius by email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide us with admin login, FTP and cPanel access so we can take a look.

The Newspaper theme does not have a infinite loading option for the post pages. That could only be done with plugins or modifications to the theme files, like the website you mention.
This suggestion is present on our list, this may be a theme option in the future.
