The only way to get it to display in a non material skin setup would be to turn the option for the sticky mobile header navigation off. This will cause the legacy mobile menu to be used, which has a search bear inside of it: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/theme-options/header-navigation/

2. That would require custom development or the use of a plugin as Salient doesn’t have any built in integration with Booking.com

I have contacted WP Bakery and they say the issue is fixed. They have asked that I upgrade to 5.5.1 but when I try to do this your theme upgrades the plug-in to version 5.4.7. Please advise.

Hey ctekk, Salient has never forced Google fonts to load if undesired. Simply make sure no families are selected in the options panel > typography tab and none will load

Thank you for your reply. I can confirm that I have not uploaded an image into the Header Navigation tab. I have not done this because I have an English and French site running where each needs it’s own logo.

Due to the fact I need to use two logos I am using the following code with ‘background image’ to control which logo appears on the English and French site:

Hey Alan,

The border is from the img tag that’s sitting there without a source applied to it – if you’re going to use custom css to set a BG image – set it on parent link rather than the image tag. This way you can hide the img and avoid the issue:
