I am using the Demo Template Freelancer which has a yellow background. I already changed background to white but the background during the loading process is still yellow. I also already tried to add this to Custom CSS as I read other comments:
.qode_slider_preloader{ background-color: #ffffff; }
But it’s still yellow. Could you tell me another way how to change the backgroud behind the quode silder during the loading process to white?

I have used you all for quite some time and I love it. However, I have recently began to experience a timing out issue within the browser. I am trying to find out why. When I go to edit the pages it says the following message:
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.What do I do? What are the recommended settings for the theme? I’ve reached out to my hosting company and they referred me back to you all to get the clarity as to what the theme needs to run so they can adjust accordingly if it’s something they can fix. Also, the demos that I am working with are the New Demo 233 (Creative Office) and New Demo 221 (New Album Release). Thanks in advance.

I had done no changes in theme, and no update on website but the custom font in the website is changed and it’s not appearing anymore. I was buying two times support plus the theme cost and I didn’t use it even once and the problem which I have is the thing which I had is disappeared!!.. it’s something which I had not something which I want to change.
I’ve checked the fonts which are linked and there is no problem with the link.

Yes, it could be disabled. Just open this file wp-content\themes\bridge\js\default.js and search for this function initSideMenu where you will delete or comment out this part of code we marked here https://www.screencast.com/t/1QsZj6uAsoUr Then, save this file, and make minification of it (default.min.js) using some tool, like JS Compressor. Then reupload both files (default.js and default.min.js) on your server.

Hello, I read what was written about the demo material not showing because of author’s names on post….I did the steps that was required. I did change the author and it shows up on the post. But no matter what I do I can’t seem to make post slider 1 and post carousel 1 to work. Help?

Layerslider and Visual Composer are only updated when a theme update by Qode is released – yes?
Does this situation cause a security issue, because theme updates are often weeks behind updates for these 2 plugins, meaning the plugins need updating and therefore a security risk?
Case in point, I got the latest version of Bridge which finally updated Visual Composer, three days later a new version of Composer is released so my site has an out of date plugin again. Very frustrating.

I have tried using poedit but obviously did something wrong. I know I can disable it via them options then add the string via additional sidebar items. However I can get nice paragraph breaks.

Yes, you could make multi language site. As we could see, you’ve already done this. So, you could make everything using some plugin for this purpose. We could suggest WPML that is compatible with our theme, just you’ll need to have everything duplicated per language. And also, just disable page transitions in Qode Options > General > page transitions > No animation in order to reload header area, too.

We inspected your site and we could see you’ve uploaded svg for logo. SVG logos are not supported by default so our suggestion is to install some third party plugin for SVG images. You could try to use SVG Support plugin – we’ve tested it a bit and it seems to work well:

it is done, thats a simple issue already tried with a JPG and nothing, only way that shows a logo is in split header mode. thats not the problem…i’ve tried everything… thanks..
not the issue I’ve already installed a SVG supported plugin, otherwise it won’t let me do it/ upload one.
i’ll have to change to another theme, sorry but an entire morning to put a logo on the menu/ header not worth the time spent. this is something really basic never had this issue on over 400 sites built.
