There is no one click demo import option but it will be easy to replicate our demo site because the theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site.The theme documentation contains rather detailed instructions concerning demo content import and besides our support team will gladly help you with demo content import in case you’ll experience difficulties with it. Please note, that all images are not included in the demo content and are substituted with placeholders as according to our license we can’t redistribute them.
Theme required and recommended plugins are included to the theme archive. Are all the plugins needed provided or I have to buy it separately by myself. Also would I be able to install both the parent and child theme so that I can make customization in the future if needed. Lastly, would you be able help install the theme that will look exactly like your demo one (of course with no images) so that I can familiarize myself with it first then do my customization later.

Theme required and recommended plugins are included to the theme package. I should note that events view on our demo site is achieved with the help of Events Calendar PRO plugin which is not included to the theme package as we have no rights to redistribute it. The Events Calendar PRO plugin does not provide a license that would allow theme developers redistribute this plugin, and this plugin extension should be purchased separately by end users.

The easiest way to make your site look like our demo one is to import demo content. The theme comes with a .xml file that allows you to import all the pages and posts like they are on the demo site. You can find this file in the Demo content folder you downloaded from the Themeforest.
Please note, that all the images are not included and are substituted with placeholders, as according to our license we can’t redistribute them. Please install the WordPress importer plugin, then proceed to the Tools-Import-WordPress, upload file and import. You’ll need to import the Content itself and the theme settings.
The sliders are imported separately, so you need to install the slider plugin and import the slider sample file. The theme comes with a demo slider content import file. After you import it, you will have the same slider as we have on our demo, except that the background images will be absent and you will need to add your own instead. Our license does not allow us add background images to the download package, but all the other slider elements and settings, including timings will be imported.
The theme documentation contains rather detailed instructions concerning the demo content import (you can find it in the DOCS folder you downloaded with the theme archive – please open index.html file in any browser).
In a case you experience difficulties with the demo content importing, please submit us a personal request at http://cmsmasters.net/support/ with relevant WordPress and FTP credentials and our support agents will be happy to help you with the theme set up.

Hi There – Pre-sales question for you. On our client’s current site, they have about 9 years of audio and text sermons – which was managed by Sermon Manager for WordPress. We like this theme, however, wonder how we will be able to import the old content into the new site since this theme doesn’t leverage Sermon Manager. Any recommendations?

In fact we cannot guarantee that the content created with the help of the other theme and plugins will be correctly imported and displayed when using our theme. The matter is that the themes use different post types for displaying the content, and the sermons post type was created specially for the My Religion theme. So there should be a need to create the sermons from scratch, appreciate your understanding.

In Sermons post type posts are posted using the username of the one who created the post: https://www.screencast.com/t/milqJrtWma6 . To have different Speakers I can recommend you to add different users with needed usernames and post the posts using appropriate user. For example you can create user Jeremy Thompson at your WordPress admin panel and add needed Sermons on his behalf, thus the speaker will be Jeremy Thompson. Another solution is to disable author in the Sermons Shortcode Settings: http://www.screencast.com/t/DgE3p4Ie9XET and add the information about the speaker in the Sermon page simply as a content.

I’ve purchased your template a few weeks ago. I’m almost ready to launch the website!! However, i noticed that there isn’t a way to show the lastest sermons in a sidebar (as you can do it with the news or latest blog entries).
I downloaded a plugin for showing custom post types content (like the title and link) inside a widget, and that kinda works, but it doesn’t display the sermon’s categories, like the news/blog entries categories.
Is there a way to do that exactly as its showed in the recent news/blog entries?

The My Religion template is a versatile and attractive template .The learning curve has been challenging at times but that’s all part of the fun and it ends up giving me a better understanding of the technical end and a satisfaction once a problem is solved.
That brings me to my latest dilemma with the blog feature. I created a couple of blog pages but each time I can not get the text of the post to show. However, the title of the post, date, and a feature image will show. I have played and tinkered with every possible setting related to the blog and nothing has worked. I ran theme check and get this message: cmsmasters-c-c/shortcodes/cmsmasters-blog.php get_template_part() should be used instead.

Please make sure that you are using the latest theme version available on the Themeforest – 1.1.2. The easiest way to update the theme is to rename the old theme as my-religion-old in your wp-content/themes folder. Then you will be able to upload the new theme my-religion.zip via the WordPress admin panel and activate it.
After the theme update, please proceed to Appearance > Theme Plugins, and update all the suggested plugins. Please note that you might need to clear your browser’s cache in order to see the changes.

Hi. How do I copy a section from one page to another? In WPBakery and other composers there is a way to save a section in some kind of list or section repository and then go to a different page and insert that section into another page. How do I do that with this composer?

Visual Composer (Page Builder by wpbakery) isn’t included in the theme package and we can’t guarantee its compatibility with the theme, as we haven’t implemented such compatibility tests. Though we can’t deny mentioned plugin will work properly with our theme.

Our visual content composer allows to place any shortcode/section to any part of the content area. You can modify content according to your requirements, for instance, add elements of other pages to your home page.
