It seems that your Theme is not uploaded installed properly and some files crashed during uploading or installing of the Theme so please once again update your Theme via CPanel uploading hope you will not find an issue if yes then we had to debug your site and for that you have to contact us through our support system with your site WP and FTP Login details.

Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps: Your theme will be updated easily.

1. Take the complete backup of your current site. (If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanel wp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything. (If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

But First please make sure your server requirements is meet with the latest Porto WordPress theme requirement if not then please make sure to set first server requirements as written in the Theme Documentation: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/

This comment is not about support. But this new update has messed up lot of features. Such as, search box display error, mini cart icon change option is missing, changing search box to small large option is missing, items footer have messed up.

1. For Search Box issue Please download the file from the below-given link and upload/replace it to wp-content/themes/porto/woocommerce and check your site after removing the browser cache hope you will not find an issue.

And we have removed some small changing options from the Theme Options because it makes the Theme heavy and Cart Icon Changing Option is one of them so now you have to change the cart icon with the help of Custom CSS as per your requirements, Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and change the Content Value as per your requirements your issue will solve.

#mini-cart .minicart-icon:before { content: "\f217"; font-family: "FontAwesome" !important; }

Installed latest fix but have still issue with mega menu, the column settings does not work so menu goes outside dropdown/popup.

Actually, we have deleted the premium plugins from the theme package that is why the size of the theme is less then before. Now the plugins will install from our internal server and we have already changed the path of the plugins installation in the theme files.

For the theme update, we will release on Monday with small fixes in the theme. So please wait or send us your issues through our support system so we will check and solve it on your site.

Yeah, checked everything now in 3 sites and menu columns does not work, neither does the Link Hover Background Color. And mini cart is still not possible to close in mobile + + + I had to revert back to older version, to many issues with lattest update.

thx for the fix im just sad to see the cart icon option being removed from porto. It was a useful option in my opinion for WC users.

Saying your the best WC theme but removing the option for changing the cart icons is sad. hope you add the option back. speed is not everything when it comes to themes. options is best if you ask me.

would be nice having a forum where we can express what we want out of a theme being the users.

Having a support forum, we could help other users that have the same theme and you devs could ask us what we would like in the next versions. instead of going blind and guessing what users need. i mean it’s not hard installing phpbb forum software for your users to use.

First of all, it’s nothing changed in the download. I don’t need support if you the update is good. The update have many flaws. Template cart is wrong. Menu is not good and no files in revo and wpbakkery to extract. We need a new update to solve this.

1. Please update your Theme once again after downloading from your ThemeForest account and then activate your Theme via your product purchase code you and then install the WP Bakery and all the Plugins from Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Install Plugin hope you will not find an issue.

2. Hi, i used to be able to add logos for each different languages using WPML. But now i cant seem to find the string for the logo it used to be under admin_texts_porto_settings but now the logo strings are missing.

where would i find the logo strings now ?

Any help would be nice i need logos in the languages of my different users.

You can find the Logo String into wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/layout.php

However you are using the WPML Plugin so it’s better to ask from them, They will provide you the best solution for that.

For ppl using WPML and are looking for how to change the logo for ech language: Please follow the steps below:

- Go to WPML > String Translator - Click on Translate texts in admin screens at the bottom of the page its a link. - You will see all strings available at the wp_options table. - Find the porto_settings link and click on it. - Find logo and click on it. - Find the string with the logo URL String, check the input and save. - Do the same for the logo-retina, sticky-logo and sticky-logo-retina. - Go back to WPML > String Translator and search for the logos strings

Hi, Yes I have updated manually but now site works OK using parent theme but not my child theme. I have this issue every time I upgrade.

Please update your Theme to the latest version 4.5.0 and also update the Theme required/recommended Plugins and check your site after deactivating your site all the third party plugins and removing the server, site and browser cache hope you will not find an issue, The issue you are facing because you are using the very old version 4.3.1 of the Theme which is not compatible with the latest WordPress and Plugins.

You can show the login/register & logout links in the top navigation or the main menu. You can configure in Theme Options > Menu.

Please select the my account page in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts. Please check Enable registration on the “My Account” page in Woocommerce > Settings > Accounts > Registration Options.

Not sure what you have done in latest update with the mega menu. My menus now is a big mess?? https://www.arctic-fritid.no

Also the new pagination option (Load more) i can not get to work in mobile. Tested in Iphone and noting happens..
