First of all thanks for showing your interest in Porto WordPress.

Sorry to say that but in our Theme we have used the Woocommerce Plugin and Woocommerce has it’s default functionality to show the variables value by name but as you want to show the variables value by image or color you have to use the third party plugins, and some of them are listed below:

1. https://wordpress.org/plugins/variation-swatches-for-woocommerce/
 2. https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-variation-swatches/
 3. https://woocommerce.com/products/variation-swatches-and-photos/
 4. https://codecanyon.net/item/color-or-image-variation-swatches-style-for-woocommerce/20887984

But please remember that these are third party plugins and we do not tested those with our latest Theme so you have to test it at your own risk.

Can you tell me where I can find or how I can setup where the messages go when a user sends a message through the contact form? I have managed to send out a “Thank You” reply message to the user but can’t for the life of me figure out how to receive their messages.

Hello, please after I configured the currency switcher. When I switched to another currency, the price will be correct but it will add Sales to all product with 100% discount.

It must be the third party plugin confiliction issue at your end so please deactivate your site all the third party plugins and check your site after removing the server, site and browser cache hope you will not find an issue then after that activate your site all the third party plugins again one by one and check which one is creating an issue for your site.

If after that you will face the same issue then we have to debug your site and for that you have to contact us through our support system with your site Admin Login details.

I think some files of the Theme corrupts while uploading/updating the Theme, Please make true the debug mode and you will find the file name and path which is being corrupted, so you have to update the Theme again via CPanel and if your server requirements meets the latest Theme minimum requirements then you will not find an issue and if yes then contact us through our support system with your site WP and CPanel Login details so we will check it for you.

And yes you can choose/use any header on your site by choosing the header type as per your requirements from Theme Options and also you can hide/show the header as per your requirements on each page.

Hi, I am wanting to ‘Disable Cart Fragmentation’ however when I do, the shopping cart preview (mouse over) no longer works, and clicking on the shopping cart icon does not take me to the shopping cart. I would like to disable cart fragments, but make it so when a customer clicks on the shopping cart, they’re taken to the cart. Can you provide some quick assistance in this?

Actually, this is not possible through theme options it requires theme customization and as you know the support policy, we only give our dedicated support for the theme related issues not for the customization services.

Thanks for your reply, however that plugin does not really integrate well into your theme as it makes the cart icon inoperable, and leads to a frustrated customer. Do you have a better solution, or can you add something to a future update where the cart icon can instead be linked to the cart page.

Can the e-commerce shop version be used in ‘catalogue’ mode? So everything is shown, like prices, descriptions etc but no actual sale is available? Also – the client who wants the website sells cane furniture, and the suites are available in 2 different frame types, and 8 different fabrics – Is there a way to show these so they can be selected, on the product page? If you have 2 different Types Frames and 8 different Types fabrics to sell on your site then you have to create categories for those and then use those all categories to show on the shop page then follow the steps given below:

  • Click on Appearance > Customize
  • Then go to WooCommerce > Product Catalog
  • Select “show categories” from Shop Page Display
  • Click on Save Changes

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Feature request – In Theme Options could you add an option for Footer Top and Footer Bottom borders like you have for Header / Header Top / Breadcrumbs etc. Not a big deal to add it in my CSS but every single website I build requires this extra step. If it’s not a big deal for you to add that I would appreciate it :) Thanks for the awesome theme! I own MANY licenses!!

I see the most recent version of the theme is 4.5.0 but none of my installs show a theme update under Dashboard > Updates as in previous releases.

We have turn off that feature from the Theme because of we have not recommended to update the Theme via any plugin because it will override all your Theme/Site Customization and Settings and also because of we make Porto Super Fast and for that we removed some small an extra features from the Theme as well so we always recommended to update the Theme manually and you will find an updated Theme Notification into your Email account which is linked with Envato ThemeForest.

It was really convenient to be able to automatically update and I never had any issues with losing settings. I have MANY installs of Porto so it’s time consuming to update. Maybe consider bringing back this feature in future releases. Thanks.

how can i activate RTL? WPML is installed No RTL option in setting -> General

Porto WordPress is fully compaitable RTL Theme, You just have to select the RTL language from Wp-dashboard >> Setting >> General and your Site/Theme will be changed to RTL verion. And as you said that you have used WPML Plugin for translation so you have to translate your Site/Theme by using WPML.

Hi, how can i edit the contact us page which is located on home page of the theme? There is no actual page for this its just located at the bottom of the main page when scrolling.

Please go to Appearance >> Widgets and click and open the Footer Widget you will find a block is being used in it, so it means that section coming from Blocks. Now you have to go to Blocks and finds the particular block that is being set in the Footer Widget area and then just edit it and change as per your requirements.

First of all… this theme is really my favorite . the only point I have to mention is that in the mobile menu… you have to press on a small arrow instead of pushing on the text.. that should be fixed.

In mobile menu user have to tap on the mobile screen right and if user touch on the menu link then it will be clicked and redirected user to the particular page and not works for opening its sub menu that is why you have to click on the small arrows. Hope this make sense.
