Dear Porto,

I want to upgrade to 4.5 version. But the file just only 10MB

is that right?

Yes the file size is 10MB :) because we have removed the premium plugins from the Theme Package because the Theme was heavy and now the plugins are on our internal server and can be Install/updated directly from our internal server, And you can check the Theme size and speed now it is super fast now, So this is the demand of the situation as we have to make Porto Super Fast :), And also we have removed some Custom CSS and some Option from the latest Theme as well and also Included some marvelous features as well :) you can check the changelog of the Theme here: https://themeforest.net/item/porto-responsive-wordpress-ecommerce-theme/9207399#item-description__change_logs

Great! I also thing porto have a big file size also. Should I delete old theme and install this version? or I just replace when extract zip file theme.

Usually I just replace, never delete old theme. beacuse it veri big diferent size.

First of all please take the complete backup of your site/theme current version and after that please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest Theme minimum requirements as given in the theme documentation here: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/

Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:

1. Take the complete backup of your current site. (If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanelwp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything. (If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

Your theme will be updated easily.

And after updating the theme to the latest version successfully you can delete the old version of the Theme.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

In the same domain where I have the license need to do another installation in a separate folder (subdomain) for the institutional site and another e-commerce, can I use the same theme in the same domain being one in the main domain and another in the subdomain? thankful

All ThemeForest products allow One license for each domain on which you will install the theme (sub-domains or multisite installation does not matter though).

So regardless of a number of clients, license works with a number of domains. So if you are building 10 websites, you need to purchase 10 regular licenses for that etc… These are license usage policy of ThemeForest (and we have no control on this), you may wish to confirm from Themeforest here:

For Blog Archive Page Layout, please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Post >> Blog & Post Archive and select the layout from there as per your requirements as showing in this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/kdq6xr then please go to Appearance >> Widgets you will find Blog Sidebar Widget so just set it as per your requirements as showing in this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/kdq7wq and check your site after removing the browser cache.

This image is on 2 ages one is on the homepage and another is on the shop page:

  • For homepage: Please edit the homepage you will find the Porto Carousel WP Bakery Element used at the back-end of the homepage just edit it and change the image as per your requirements.
  • For shop page: Please go to WP-Dashboard >> Pages and finds and edit the shop page then scroll below on the shop page backend you will find the page options and in page options you will find an option named content top and you can see that the block slug name is written in it, It means that the section is coming from the Blocks so now just go to Blocks and finds the particular block and edit it and change anything as per your requirements.

I am having an issue with demo shop 10. When I am logged into wordpress the navgation area is supposed to be on the left, but it is stuck on the bottom. When I log out and view the page it looks fine? Can someone please help?

I can not install your theme, purchased a few minutes ago. The error on the screen is as follows:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’.’, expecting ‘)’ in /web/htdocs/www…..../home/wp-content/themes/....../inc/plugins/plugins.php on line 24

Could you tell me what the problem is? I’ve been using wordpress for many years, it had never happened to me. The wordpress installation is new, the database is new, everything is new, what could it be?

I opened ticket #32721. You can do any kind of trying, deleting / editing / adding anything. I registered today domain, hosting, etc. Possibly leave the theme installed correctly (if you can). I do not understand what the problem may be.

1. For Search Box issue Please download the file from the below-given link and upload/replace it to wp-content/themes/porto/woocommerce and check your site after removing the browser cache hope you will not find an issue.
