hello, when I change Single product view, in some of the 9 choices, my images are blur!! can you help me?

Hi,

To change image size: To change this setting now on the front end you have to go to customize >> WooCommerce >>Product Catalog and you can customize the store display from there.

You must need to regenerate the image thumbnails after making the change in size then after that check your site after removing the cache you will not find an issue.

After change the image size, you should regenerate all the thumbnails in Tools > Regen. Thumbnails on admin sidebar.

Hey, I have optimized my pictures. Now I have the problem that if I under no matter which shop page the second page on only white images are displayed. When updating the page with F5 the pictures start again.

How can I translate the Theme from English to German?

Please download the latest German translation files of the Porto WordPress Theme from below given links and upload it to wp-content/languages/themes and then go to WP-Dashboard >> Setting >> general and select the German Language from there and save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

In our latest theme you will find the Demo Import option into Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Install Demo and wen you click on any Demo to Install the Popup will open which has 2 buttons Standard Import and Alternative Mode as showing in this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/kg0s3w so if your server requirements meets the minimum requirements of the latest theme then you can import any demo by clicking onto the Standard Import button and if not then you have to click on the Alternative Mode Button it will Install the Demo on your site.

I see a lot of comments with issues using the Safari browser. I’m having the same issues with my site not displaying correctly. If I update the Porto theme to the latest version, should that fix the problem or is it solely a Safari issue? Let me know either way – thanks! -CT

If you are running an old version of the theme on your site then please update the theme to the latest version and check your site after deactivating all your site third party plugins and removing the server, site and browser cache hope you will not find an issue if yes then please contact us through our support system so we will solve it for you but remember one thing that Porto is fully Compatible with the latest safari on MAC versions not with the very older versions.

You have to reset your WordPress by using this WP Reset Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/ then your imported demo data will be removed from the site and your WordPress will be reset but you will find the theme in the Appearance >> Themes :) then you just have to Activate the Theme again and Install any Demo as per your requirements, it will not duplicate any of the page, post on your site.

I am trying to add some color swatches for the products on our shopify store. but I’m having trouble writing this code For regular colors, lets say that its called Royal Blue, then the code I usually add will be “royal-blue.png” and it works perfect.

Now some of the names of the colors on the store have ”/” in them. You’ll see that there are two colors and ”/” in the middle (since these shirts contain two colors) – for example: Heather gray/ Vintage Red.

What do I do when there is a ”/” in the middle of the name?

How will I name this image (Heather gray/ Vintage Red) so that it will recognize it?

I am sorry, but you are trying to change rules not in favor, to make new updates I need to register and make the automatic updates, technically from the development point of view, the worst thing in the internet in general and WordPress specially the automatic updates which bring unexpected problems from bugs, this may work fine for small websites with a couple of pages, but for a serious website the automatic updates should be too far from the developer.

In your latest version I find that I cannot update plugin if not registered which is not practical even so if some people have asked for it, so I do appreciate if you recall this back and provide it the way it was with the theme whether it is directly downloaded or with the theme files.

Kindly provide me a way to update manually or provide me with the additional plugins so I can update them myself.

Hi,

We are always recommended to update the Theme manually via CPanel not with the help of any plugin.

Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:

1. Take the complete backup of your current site.(If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanelwp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything.(If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

Your theme will be updated easily.

Also this is the demand of the situation, the plugins are coming from the theme package not separately, so you have to activate the theme for using it and the plugins also need the theme activation first then it will be update/Install, this is the Enavto Policy to use the single license of code for the single theme on the single domain so we and also you have to follow the Envato Policy.

As you know that we have used the Woocommerce Plugin in the theme and Woocommerce have it’s default functionality, so this is not possible with the help of theme or plugin options although you can achieve it by using the third party plugins like I have searched and finds some for you please test one by one and check which will works with your theme.

Yes we have the latest Greek Language translations files, after purchasing the theme just contact us through our support system so we will provide you the latest Greek translation files of Porto WordPress, then you just have to upload those file to wp-content/languages/themes and then finally you have to select the site language to Greek from WP-Dashboard >> Setting >> General. I think some files of the Theme corrupts while uploading/updating the Theme, Please make true the debug mode and you will find the file name and path which is being corrupted, so you have to update/Install the Theme again via CPanel and if your server requirements meets the latest Theme minimum requirements then you will not find an issue otherwise please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest Theme minimum requirements as given in the theme documentation here: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/ and if after that you will find an issue then contact us through our support system with your site WP and CPanel Login details so we will check it for you.

We have removed some small changing options from the Theme Options because it makes the Theme heavy and Cart Icon Changing Option is one of them so now you have to change the cart icon with the help of Custom CSS as per your requirements, Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS and change the Content Value as per your requirements your issue will solve.

Is there any way for me to change the language into Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia)? I’ve changed the language for wp and also the woocommerce, but I found several that’s inherent with the theme is not translated yet. Can you provide any translation for the theme, or how to translate it by myself?

If you want to translate any word as per your requirements you have to edit that porto-id_ID.po file and change any word as per your requirements and save changes then you have to compile the porto-id_ID.mo file and upload both of the files into the same path and check your site after removing the browser cache you will find it works.

Yup. I done that instead, using the po and mo files, changing crucial items so it can suit better.

Anyway another question,

1. I turn on the social tab, but I cannot see the WhatsApp icon even after I put the whatsapp link nor the number. Did I do something wrong? 2. Is it possible to put a custom social media site into the tab? Or probably just change one of the unused social media, then change the icon with the custom one?

Hello, the Visual Composer and Revolution Sliders don’t install because it say’s that the plugins are empty

Hello, I built an eshop with a sidebar header. In the Single Product View, I hide the header. The problem is that I made some banners as HTML block, in the bottom of the page, and they are not full screen (from right to left), and they leave a blank in the left side. How can I fix this? It is crucial for my client.

Also is there a way I can have a top bar with the sidebar header?

I have been struggling for a while with one constant error. When uploading an image using the Wordpress multi image uploader. I get an error saying “HTTP ERROR” then the image doesn’t upload. This stops me from adding products to my website which is a nightmare. Ive contacted my host provider and asked for experienced help and they are telling me it must be something to do with the theme. Do you have any solutions/suggestions. Any codes ?

I think it is your site protocol issue. Please use the Really simple SSL plugin to convert your site to HTTPS protocol or ask your hosting provider to solve this issue for you. You can change the Link of the language switcher by editing the file wp-content/themes/porto/inc/functions/layout.php by your own.

Can you please make sure that Catalog Mode is OFF on your site from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Woocommerce >> Catalog, and if it is ON then please make sure that the price of the product is turn ON while using the catalog mode and if not then please make it ON and save changes and check your site after removing the cache.

Or it may be because of any third party plugin confliction so also please check your site after deactivating all the third party plugins on your site hope you will not find an issue and then activate your site all the third party plugins one by one and check which one is creating an issue for you.
