I purchased Bridge a while ago but didn’t get to use it on the project i intended to use it for. I’ve recently found good use for it with a new project. I’ve installed the demo and I’m making progress nicely, except for one thing: In Visual Composer, the text block only shows up in ‘text’ version, not ‘visual’. Try to disable all 3rd party plugins that you installed after purchase. Then update Bridge theme to have the latest WP Bakery included. Make sure you have a back-up in case something goes wrong.

Hey guys, just submitted a ticket having issues with the demo install on #177 – Gym demo. I tired other demos and they installed fine, but this one keeps stalling at 90%, despite having adjusted PHP limit settings. I’ve created a login for you in the support ticket. on my Portfolio gallery , the large slider has different amounts of padding around it depending on the screen size. My 13 inch laptop is fine, but a 15 inch shows to much white space around it. Is there anyway I can have it adjust to any screen size?

Hi I want to build a villa booking wordpress site that has villas from many countries, many regions etc…
1, I want people to be able to filter these villas with an advanced search function based on what they are looking for (i.e.: country, city, villa price, has beachfront or not, etc… so not just based on availability for the checkin/checkout dates)
2, I’d like to be able to embed these various search boxes on various pages. For example on domain.com/france-villas I’d like to display by default all villas we have in France, and have an advanced search box on that page that people can use to filter these france villas further. I’d also like to have other pages like this, for example domain.com/italy-villas, domain.com/germany-villas and so on. So I’d like to be able to control the URL structure of pages, so that I can create separate pages in WordPress for each country and display the villas in that country on the page.
3, Once people click the search button, I want the results to be displayed right on the page, and not on a separate search results page.
4, I’d like all pages to be editable, so I want to build regular pages/posts in wordpress and then be able to embed the villa selection, and not just have a page that lists all villas with the search function that I can’t add content to etc…
5, I’d also like each individual villa’s page to be fully editable by me (so if we have a villa called Villa Rosa, then I’d like to be able to place the page for it at domain.com/villa-rosa and be able to edit it like any regular wordpress page with the addition that people of course should be able to see availability and be able book it from that page.
Are these doable with this plugin/theme or any plugin/theme of yours? Thanks!

We hope you understand that what you wrote is impossible to achieve with a single theme and all it’s default features, no matter the complexity of the code and assets included. Bridge is probably one of the most flexible WordPress themes ever written, so if you can’t achieve something similar with it, you’d find it very harder with any other. It would probably take some additional custom coding, as well as 3rd party plugins testing for all you desire.

Widget areas for banners and ads could be found in Appearance > Widgets. Widget areas can also be found on the page itself, as a “Content Bottom” area, or as an element of the builder itself.
Registering an ad to your website is something we can’t help you with, as it’s not related to theme itself, but a SEO and advertising optimization. We provided plenty of areas for placing your ads, so everything else should be done on user’s side. Thank you for understanding.

Your theme are serving scaled images which is very bad for the site speed and it is a bad way of coding in general. The theme also has a few html validation errors.

The images used in demo are for showcase purpose and intentionally left in HQ. These images should be deleted and replaced by user’s when the website is launched. It’s up to the user then which image size will he use and in what way will he optimize the loading and appearance of his website. Thank you.

Your Themeforest Bridge support comments are full of hundred requests regarding “Serve scaled images: reported for Bridge him and that SERP and Google Page speed heavily penelizethis.
All these are 100% programming issues
I optimized all images, all best practices are in place. (varnish on fronted separate server + nginx + CDN + optimized all images, minified css an js files, ALL this and more are in place) and still Google Page Speed Insights and gtmetrix.com score me below 50%
This is unreal

after importing demo #109, the green SSL lock on the customer website (error free certificate hosted) was replaced by a black exclamation mark! replaced. Not in the WP dashboard ad, but in the preview and in live mode. Why? After keyword search I read in older support comments as a Qode answer to the same question from another buyer, it is due to the demo photos, which are stored on a http page. So I deleted all Qode demo photos and content, but the issue was not resolved. Now I have deleted the theme and reinstalled Wordpress. New attempt to get Bridge to work properly. What do I have to do after importing demo #109 to avoid getting this error again?

Ok I understand. Now I bought Bridge already in February 2015, but only now in August 2018 for the first time installed in a web project. I just wanted to buy Extended Support for $ 17.63 as shown in the price tag. I am shown in the shopping cart this costs now 41, – $. That’s really hard when faced with problems only through proper demo import, which is explained in NO CUSTOMER DOCUMENTATION. The problem does not only occur with me, as I see. So why not integrate this into your FAQ? Paid support is absolutely OK, if the customer does not make any further mistakes. But https problem after demo import is Qode-internal.
Of course, I understand and accept the principle of support costs, but if you have the demo import performed exactly according to instructions and has made any changes, such an error must not occur.
My WP hoster has confirmed to me that all the settings in my account are correct and optimal. It can not be so.

Hi Tom,
Demo images are meant to serve for showcasing purpose, and they should be removed as soon as you finish the website development. So, once you import demo content and finish optimizing pages and changing images, you should install your SSL certificate and remove images from theme demo. In that way, all your website content will be secured. If you open console and still see some demo images are being pulled, go to that specific directory from FTP Account and remove them.
