Hello – Infinite scroll option for listing pages the icons indicating loading of new rows of items is too far on the bottom where a visitor can not see something is pending load for additional items on the page. How can I get the infinite scroll indicator to display just below the last row of items currently visible? Version is 4.6.1 – by the way, it worked fine with build 4.5.

Sorry to say that but there is no option in the theme or in plugin WooCommerce to changing the order number but you can use any third party plugin for achieving your needs or it will possible with the help of Customization.

Hello.. After the latest theme update i did find 2.8MB of the below PHP notices.

Only 2-3 of this notice: [17-Aug-2018 19:50:54 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined index: -infinite in /wp-content/themes/porto/inc/lib/infinite-scroll/infinite-scroll.php on line 60

But hundreds or maybe thousands of this line: [17-Aug-2018 19:52:12 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: page_count in /wp-content/themes/porto/woocommerce/loop/pagination.php on line 29

I am using the load more option for the infinite scroll in product archive pages.

Ofcourse you have the same issue, just check your code and ajax call for the define of page_count

Also make sure when testing that you have products enough for 3-4 click on the load more button so then you will find the notice in error log.

Just tested in a brand new test install and got the same notice and the below string removes the notice which means page_count is not defined.

Latest 2 minor versions are not added to the update history.

On the other hand, I believe the message receive by email should include the update version number as well as the download page, which helps us identify files.

When updating the theme by cpanel will not I lose my logo, skin, menu, header and footer customizations?

this backup I do by the cpanel of the css folder in the theme or by wordpress in theme options import / export. I’ve always done the update for the packaging market plugin, it would give me a better explanation of what I have to back up and copy into the theme folder.

Why is it so difficult to change the colors of the theme? Seriously, guys, three years ago people were complaining about it. What’s wrong with creating a simple system to change the theme colors? This is ridiculous. I am seriously considering a chargeback.

It seems the permission issue. Your server did not give permission to add/save the settings of the Theme Options. Basically, when you saved the theme options then it’s created the skin_1.css file inside the CSS folder, because of permission the theme is not able to create this file on your site. Please contact your hosting provider to change the permission to 777 or 755 of the CSS folder and all files.

OR

I think the issue you are facing is the cache issue at your end so please ask your hosting provider to remove the server CDN cache for you on your site and also remove your site and browser cache and then check hope you will not find an issue if yes then we have to debug your site and for that you have to contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details.

Enhancement Request: Ajaxify the ‘Add To Cart’ buttons on ecommerce shop theme. This call to action is important and needs to be fluid like the ‘Place Order” button. I suggest for others to vote for this update in next release as well.

Please go to Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate and you will find the button of Deactivate, just click on it and the theme will be deactivated from the particular Domain/Site and then go to the other Domain/Site and Activate the same theme with the same purchase code by following the same steps.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Where is there documentation on how to enable the pop up login?

Sorry for the inconvenience but when you go to my account page then the Login form will be shown as normal form like before it was and when you click on the Login or Register Link which is on the top header then the Pop up form will appear and it is the default functionality of the theme.

No it’s a part of the regular Theme Login but there is no option to turn the Pop Up Login ON/OFF in the theme but I already forwarded this to our development department that please add an option in the theme options to turn ON/OFF the Login pop up and hopefully you will find that option in the next updates of the theme soon so until that please be patience.

Where is “WPBakery Visual Composer” plugin in theme files?

We have removed the premium plugins from the Theme Package because the Theme was heavy and now the plugins are on our internal server and can be Install/updated directly from our internal server, And you can check the Theme size and speed now it is super fast now, So this is the demand of the situation as we have to make Porto Super Fast so you have to try to update/install the Theme on Live test server then you will be able to Install/Update the Plugins.

If you are already on Live server and unable to Install/update the Plugins then Can you please try once deactivating the Theme from Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate and then after removing the browser cache again activate the Theme with the same Purchase code and then try to Install/Activate/Update the plugins hope you will not find an issue.

You can easily Install and Activate those and all Plugins from Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Install Plugins.

But remember that you are able to Install and Activate the Plugins after activating the Theme License code.

Unable to activate Porto Theme Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’.’, expecting ‘)’ in wp-content/themes/porto/inc/plugins/plugins.php on line 24

Hi,

Please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest theme minimum requirements as given in the theme documentation here: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/

And after that please update your theme via Cpanel by following the steps given below and finally update the theme required/recommended plugins and then check your site after removing the browser cache hope you will not find an issue and if yes then contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin and CPanel Login details so we will update the theme for you.

Please try to install/update your theme by yourself first if you fail then we will do it for you. Please follow the below steps:

1. Take the complete backup of your current site.(If you are updating theme)
2. Go to CPanel wp-content/themes and rename old theme Porto to anything.(If you are updating theme)
3. Upload the latest zip file of the theme there in wp-content/themes.
4. Extract the zip file of the theme there.
5. Go to WP Admin Panel >> Appearance and activate the theme there.

Your theme will be updated easily.
