Hi, It seems that REHub theme does not get to the most suitable image size from wordpress defined image set (Thumbnails, Media, Large, Original). Every images display is using the original size (https://..../xyz.jpg instead of https://..../xyz123x123.jpg) which highly affects the site performance. I didn’t realize before since this feature is shipped with wordpress by default. Am I misconfigured something in REHub, otherwise, would you please help to fix it? Thanks.

Sorry, I am not so clear what do you mean “uses resizer on fly”. Would you please further elaborate? For my understanding, wordpress will crop (not equals to resize isn’t it?) the image into different defined size (Thumbnails, Medium, Large) when uploading and it will choose a proper size to load images on the page instead of using the original size and scale down to the desired display ratio. e.g. in wordpress setting defined Thumbnails = 100×100, Medium = 300×300, Large = 1024×1024 and my original image = 2048×2048 (5Mb) when I am loading a woocommerce product list page with images size = 250×250, it should take the cropped image “Medium” and scale down it from 300×300 to 250×250 instead of using 2048×2048 to 250×250. For what I can see so far, the image path is always https://..../xyz.jpg in REHub which is the original image (2048×2048 in the sample case mentioned above) while it should take the image https://..../xyz300x300.jpg (the file physical size is much lesser than https://..../xyz.jpg). I don’t see any impact of the “resizer on the fly” and that’s why I am asking and the full path affecting my site performance much since the picture size is big.
One weird thing I just found is in the image title it shows “Forced to wrong size: 164×221, natural is 1450×1960!” 164×221 is my display size and 1450×1960 is my original image size. Is it something wrong and missing some library, config or setting? All images on REHub is using natural size now.

Or you use extension for images which deactivate resizer.

If the resizer you mean is same as what I mentioned before (uploaded images will resize to a different set of sizes for Thumbnails, Media, Large) and resulting a file name will appear a suffix NUMBERxNUMBER.jpg, then your assumption above for - Or you use extension for images which deactivate resizer. - Or you don’t have php image libraries on your server is not correct since we are able to have different sizes when using another theme. for the theme option, as I said the link given to you is a completely blank new site with nothing enabled, the theme setting is the default value as well, hence, resizer in global enable/disable is not prohibited! And even I have disabled the theme resizer script, it should be able to use Wordpress original resizer, isn’t it? In any circumstance, Wordpress shouldn’t use natural images to display non full size image, right? If the resizer is something else, please explain what is it, how it works, how to check, what will appear if it is working.
we have own resizer in theme which works on fly. We don’t use wordpress resizer as it creates a lot of images for each size once you upload image on site. We can investigate your site and server, but you must have actual support for this
So how does your resizer work? how to resize on fly? Will it also create a new image of new required size? how to know is it working? If your resizer is not functioning / working for whatever reason, how can I use the wordpress default one? I tried to disable your resizer in theme setting, but problem still the same, it still using natural size. In worse case, I just want to make my site having better performance, how can I use a more reason size if I don’t care which resizer or any resizer is using?
Resizer creates only one image and only when you open page. It’s not working on your site, because your server doesn’t have all image libraries. We can’t fix this from theme. We can only locate problem if you update support and send full access to site
So the file name will change when create? Is this feature support CDN? I believe the problem is we are using CDN so the resizer cannot modify / resize onto it. If I give up your theme resizer and use WP original behaviour, i.e resize image into different sizes as define and use the most optimize one. I believe turn off theme resizer in general setting should do, but it didn’t. Would you please advise how to do so? Thanks.
Some cdn supports resizer, some – don’t support. I don’t know what you are using on site. WordPress can’t create exact size of image if it’s not registered, this is why it detects original size of image as most optimized
We are using AWS cloudfront. So will the file name changed when resize on fly? What will it be and where will it store? We do have different copies of images size as defined for thumbnails / medium / large. We do not need the theme resizer which seems not working or working with condition / limitation. We just want the wordpress default feature back. There is no “resizer on fly” in others theme which works perfectly fine.
One more time. If you disable theme’s resizer, WordPress will use own functions. It’s already working on site. WordPress detects original size as most best size for image. What can we do with this? It’s possible only to register new size according your site. We can help with this when you will have actual support

But this function will ruin the concept of the marketplace. It will just be an online store without vendors. Is there a way to keep the marketplace functionality and remove the vendor link in the single product page?

BEEN WORKING ON IT FOR OVER SIX * HOURS AND CANNOT EVEN GET THE HOME SCREEN TO BE THE SHOP PAGE. SERIOUS THEME DILEMMA! PLEASE HELP.
The cloned demo does not import. Your documentation mentions that I can conduct the full clone via importer, by uploading xml., but the importer is only compatible with demo, not full clone option. Importer plugin does not even appear as a standalone plugin, it’s merged with theme options.
Woo shop page cannot be designated to a home page using your theme. I configured settings to display shop on numerous test pages, then set the static home to be that of all these pages, but none display the shop. It is as if your theme is preventing display? When I immediately switch to different theme, using same static pages, the shop displays perfectly (just without the REHUB designs, but all the same contents).

I deleted my entire site and ALL content and configurations from many months of work, in order to set this up, cause I thought the residue may have been an issue, but it most definitely was not, it is just the theme. NOW IM STUCK WITH NO VALUE FROM MANY MONTHS OF WORK AND A THEME TEMPLATE WHICH DOES NOT EVEN FULFIL ON IT’S FUNCTIONAL PROPOSITION.
I again, reinstalled all of WP to start fresh, but this did not resolve.
Plus, every time I change the active theme, it resets all the previous ‘theme option’ configurations of your plugin REHUB. Is it an issue on my behalf or do you auto delete all options every time a theme changes!?
RE-VENDOR does not even work as a demo import…. having to resort to the REMARKET is your alternative suggestion, but even that has issue as above mentioned.

I duplicated a product page; the original page had a product review. After duplicating the page (to save time for my next product) I edited that page and added the next product & information. The only issue, is the new product page doesn’t have any reviews, but is pulling the score from the original review. *Please see attached for a photo examples: Is there a way to change the default user score of “7” for the review section.

What is original review? You must copy clean product, without reviews. Better to create common draft and use it for cloning
Hey purchased this theme long time ago, and did not get around to use until know so my support is expired. However, one small thing i hope you can answer, why is it that i seems to be unable to change the custom color scheme or should this not change the red main menu to the chosen color? i use rewise and started out from a full demo install.
menu colors are in theme option – header and menu, they are different than main color of theme

I dont upload this logo’s. I think the plugin download the logo itself when I bulk import—> wp all import plugin.
And makes for each different product a different logo from the merchant.
So I got logo-1, logo-2, logo-3, logo-4, etc.

I have used no field. Only field it could be in Content Egg Offer -> Merchant Domain -> Intertoys.nl. Another field I dont know. When I leave that merchant domain blank no logo’s will be download.

After updating both the main theme and the child theme. It messed up my front page. Now I’m stuck with 1 blog layout. I tried changing it in “Select Blog Layout” in the Theme Option, but it doesn’t do anything.
I have also updated the Visual Composer plugin as well via FTP. But still it’s not changing back to my preferred layout. Please help.

I guess you updated theme from very old version. You should check all changelog for all important changes in theme from your old version to actual, there are a lot of changes. You must reassign your widgets. All of them are in Inactive Area in your widgets (bottom of page), just drag them to proper areas
