Hey toolbox101,

The theme no longer relies on JS to create most of the layouts so it will be most noticeable when disabling the transitions. However, that also means that overall even with them on there’s less scripting happening on each load. By default page transitions are now disabled on mobile, so even if you use them for desktop you’ll still see a big difference when navigating on mobile devices. There has been an option added to turn them back on when using mobile devices as well if desired though.

In nearly every case if the element is not specific to a post type, all of the settings will be directly inside of the page builder element – in cases where a element is qeuring for items from a post type, the output can be modified by settings within the post type itself. I’ve noted to add info about the new element into the docs

One issue I noticed is that the parent row holding the slider is also set to fullscreen – disable that option since the slider itself has the option and will handle those calculations. That could occur if the PHP settings on your local setup are too low to allow the upload. Check the following settings and increase yours if they’re lower:

post_max_size  32M

upload_max_filesize   64M

max_execution_time   180

memory_limit   512M

Thanks for your input! I’ve already looked at that page and the “Automatically Add Page Title to Page Header.” toggle is OFF. I’m thinking I may have to go page by page an delete what was auto populated into the Page Header Title input.

I disabled everything in Cloudflare and paused the site. It’s still showing me the warning error when I try to update my home page. I created, published and updated a page as a test and it went through fine. I am not sure what else I am supposed to be disabling

1. Thanks for letting me know – it should only occur when using the parallax option + fullscreen with the HTMl5 particle feature – to fix it now, add this into the custom css box located in the Salient options panel > general settings > css/script related tab

There’s no option for the main navigation bar to be moved under a slider, but if you remove the default header with the page template “No header” you can then place a page submenu page builder element under your slider

Hey MarcGarner, glad you’re enjoying it Unfortunately that style had to be switched to not rely on javascript to move the labels around – it ended up being a main source of user issues when using third party forms in one way or another. If you want to remove the BG color to give it a similar look as before, use the following CSS

Hey lswieciak, errors like that usually occur if the theme was incorrectly uploaded to create a directory structure of wp-content/themes/salient/salient instead of just wp-content/themes/salient/ – can you check on your setup via FTP to verify that’s not the case?
