Hi! Pre-selling question; when I look at the preview on my mobile-device (Iphone8) to the inventory-page, I can’t click on the tab-options “schedule Test Drive”, “make an offer” etc… Is this only in the demo or…....
This is likely because of the demo toolbar at the top, it should work if you try accessing the page without the demo toolbar ..? (ie https://demo.themesuite.com/automotive-wp/listings/2014-porsche-boxster-type-s-convertible/ ). I just tried it and it works fine on my phone, but let us know if that doesn’t solve it. It definitely should be fully functional.

Yes, the theme is 100% translatable and all of the translation strings are in place. We also include translations for Afrikaans, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish

Visual Composer 5.5.2 is currently what is packaged with the theme bundle. Every time we update our theme we ensure the latest versions are included, if there is a new version out when we update the theme next we will be sure to include it.

I downloaded again the bundle (9210971) and the bakery version is 5.5.1 – 27.06.2018
I just double-checked again and 5.5.2 is included in the download off ThemeForest Automotive theme bundle (under the Downloads tab in your account). 5.5.4 will be included when we update the theme next. Your screenshot shows VC 5.5, which you could update to 5.5.2 in the meantime, and your Automotive theme is only 9.0 which we have 9.2 available on ThemeForest.

(1) My question is for the classified I want to know if dealers/users have the option to set individual items as they chose to be featured for a price and duration set by admin. Example Featured 7days for $5 or featured 30 days for $10? (2) Also do you have Ups ads option, where client pay extra for an ad to be first on the list. Example: Ups this item for $5 7days? Wont that remove it for all the others? I wish to just remove it for sold vehicles.
I think I misunderstood what you want to do, I thought you wanted to remove the sold symbol, but I had another look at the screenshots and I’m not sure what is going on there. I would recommend updating to the latest version of the theme and plugins and the fully clear your browsers history and cache and see if that fixes the problem. If it does not, please renew your support and open a Support Ticket including temporary login details to your website so we can have a look at it for you.
Hi there, It’s a great theme and have been going through your live preview of it. I take it you can change the background colours and things with the theme options? Also would it be easy to import the vehicle listings I have from another theme on wordpress? Or would I have to list all the cars again?
Thanks for the kind words! Yes you can set all of the colors under Theme Options >> Custom Styling. If you are using the Boxed Layout you would change it under Theme Options >> General Settings >> Boxed Background.
As far as import listings goes, as long as they are in CSV or XML format you should be able to import them under Listings >> File Import
Thanks for that. Just a couple of more questions – Can I move the Features & Options to appear initially instead of Vehicle Overview as it is now? Also on Firefox, I can see the prices overlap with the description on the boxed layout.
You can rename and also remove the tabs if you want, so you could remove ‘Vehicle Overview’ which would make Features & Options first, and then change one of the other remaining tabs to ‘Vehicle Overview’ or whatever you want. Regarding the overlap in Firefox, I just tested it and it seems to work fine for me, but certainly if there is an overlap bug in older versions or something we will address it. On page 3 of our listings the Mailbu entry is squished. That same entry is listed on page 1 or 2 of the cars looks fine so it isn’t the individual listing. Please setup your inventory using the Inventory shortcode in Visual Composer, it appears you are using the original page template instead.
We never had to put anything on the Inventory page, it just pulled in the listings.
In fact in Listing Options it shows under Inventory Page: Inventory in the dropdown. We’ve never had to put a shortcode there.
Confused what you mean.
It appears to be bug that if there is only one item on the last page it is squished. If we change the number of cars on a page all of them show fine. Only if there is one vehicle on an additional page.
The proper way to create the inventory page is through the shortcode system in Visual Composer, it was only when the theme was released that we had it setup as a page template. Try creating a new page, click the + symbol in Visual Composer to add a new shortcode to the page, and then go under the Automotive Shortcodes tab and adding the Inventory shortcode. If that fixes the problem (which I’m pretty sure it will) then just use the new page for the Inventory.

Okay the page is working now. Had activated an SSL certificate. Just need to know how to change the order from showing sold vehicles first when searching.
Also, I would like to add “USD” or “JMD” before price or below. Anywhere close to price. Possible?
You don’t have the Sort By configured, you just need to configure this and set it to date then show newest inventory first. There are options for what you want to do with the USD/JMD under Listing Options >> Currency Settings. Glad to hear! To answer your question, not without some customization. In that situation it would be best to add a Liating Category for Currency if some listings are different then others
We reinstalled the theme in the website because we first had http:// but now we have https:// the license of the automtive theme says that the license key is already in use.
Can you revoke the current when so we can apply it to the https version?

I’m not sure exactly what you mean, but Listing Categories are 100% customizable, and 100% searchable . Likely you can set it up to work however you need it to, but if you want to clarify exactly what you want to do we can confirm

I was notified by a customer that our main page is not showing up correctly in IE or Edge, but it looks fine in Chrome. In both of them, the page comes up with the 404 page not found. But if you click on the inventory pages, they show up correctly.

I have searched and searched for where to change the auto_listing image size. I am by no means a coder but have searched through all the .php files for everything I can do. All I want to do is change the size fo the thumbnail on the inventory page so that they are twice the size, three times the size infact any size but just bigger than they are now. If anyone can help I would be HUGELY appreciative. Many thanks
You will need to customize the file wp-content/plugins/automotive/index.php around lines 26-32. Once you are happy with the changes you will need to force WordPress to regenerate the thumbnails using the new sizes which can be done with this plugin: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Did the change, now the thumbnails are showing when saved that they are the right size that I changed them to, but I am guessing that I need to update something else for them to show at that size as they still look the same on the live webpage as they did before? I changed them from 200×150 to 600×450
Yes, you need to regenerate the thumbnails with the plugin as mentioned.
I did. I used two different thumbnail regenerators but it is still the same size on the live page. When you right click and download the image it shows the image name followed by the new size though

I find close to $60 for support when the whole thing can be purchased for close to $80 a little steep for jus tone question. I would be tempted to purchase a new theme to use instead rather than that. Can you not look at it as a one time request just to sort this one issue out for a reduced fee?
