Hello… Thanks for the very beautiful work.. When trying to setup the theme, when it gets to the plugins it does not install Revolution Slider, therefore no demo data is imported. I tried to install it from the ‘required plugins’ later and it says at the end: Plugin not activated. A higher version of Revolution Slider is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin. Please advise..

Please download the latest Greek theme translation files from the below given links and upload it to wp-content/languages/themes and go to wp-dashboard >> setting >> general and select the site language to Greek from there and save changes and finally check your site after removing the browser cache.

Hello.. As i am not using masterslider or revolution slider i have not installed these plugins and all shortcodes etc. is deactivated. But still i have 2 queries for these sliders that slow down site with 0.4sec on absolutely all pages. SHOW TABLES LIKE ‘wp_masterslider_sliders’ – porto_ct_master_sliders() SHOW TABLES LIKE ‘wp_revslider_sliders’ – porto_ct_rev_sliders()

More testing shows that by setting as false the below 2 lines found in /wp-content/themes/porto/inc/admin/theme_options/settings.php, line 57 and 58 decrease the pageloading time with around 0.5sec

Hello.. Any news about this? I have noticed my site beeing almost 1 sec slow loading for the last month or so and just got to think about this fix i did 2 monts ago.
I activated query monitor and found that as the 2 functions mention above slowed down site with 0.5+ sec so again i set both functions as false and my site now again loads fast an nicely. Why are there a call for these 2 functions when both masterslider and revolution slider is not installed?

Thanks for sharing the suggestion/feature request with us, I am forwarding this to our development department for considering to add it in the theme, but I am not giving you the guarantee for that because please note that a theme cannot satisfy all requirements as it may occur theme heaviness. Sometimes it may require your own customization. So if the development department finds it fit with the theme environment then surely they will look through it.

Hello, I have installed shop 19 demo. I want to add new category on the Porto one page category , need help.

When you edit Shop 19 Demo home page you will find an element named “Porto One Page Category” right and there is no option in the element set to change/set the categories as per your requirements, It will take/show all the Products Categories that you have into Products >> Categories, so in order to add new Category you have to create a Product Category into Products >> Categories and it will automatically show on your homepage using Porto One Page Category element.
Exactly,that’s what I thought so I had added Electronics categories into Products>> Categories but it is not showing.
Also I would like to change the icons of the One Page Category items, how can i do that too ?
I went through the theme documentation, Found that there are few basic points missing. I didn’t find the otion to change menu color / Button. I tried resetting the section many times and still no luck it’s taking the default blue color . Php version is 7.1. Cache was cleared many times . Revert with the solution without asking the Login details .

You can change the menu color and button colors from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Menu section or set the primary color of the theme from the Skin section.
It seems the permission issue. Your server did not give permission to add/save the settings of the Theme Options. Basically, when you saved the theme options then it’s created the skin_1.css file inside the CSS folder, because of permission the theme is not able to create this file on your site. Please contact your hosting provider to change the permission to 777 or 755 of the CSS folder and all files.

its not happening When Child theme is active , i tried with main theme and it worked, still im unable to Replace the Default Blue to red On Menu as its not added in documentation .

And if your product layout is not changing from selecting/changing it from Theme Options, then please edit the particular product and scroll below you will find Product Options and in Product Options you will find Product Layout Option, Please check that the particular product layout is select as Theme Options, if not then set it and check your site after removing the browser cache, hope you will not find an issue and if yes then please contact us through our support system with your site WP Admin Login details so we will check and solve the issue for you.

Can I update my theme in staging site and then push the changes in live site? Is there any license issue?

Yes, you can update the theme is your staging site, by following the steps given below you will not find an issue of License.
1. Please Install/Update the theme on staging site and activate it with the purchase code by going into Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate.
2. After completing the site/update migrate your site to main domain.
3. Now you need to activate the theme on main domain in order to use it right, but you already used the product purchase code on staging site.
4. So please go to staging site >> Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate and you will find the deactivate button, just click on it. It will deactivate the license from your staging site.
5. Then finally go to main domain/site >> Porto >> Setup Wizard >> Activate and activate the theme on main domain/site with the same purchase code, you will not find an issue.

Please go to Appearance >> Widget >> Footer Widget you will find a block widget set in it and in block widget you will a block slug name, which means the particular section is coming from blocks, so you have to go to blocks and finds the particular block and edit it and change anything as per your requirements.

We facing a problem with your theme mobile menu: please check your demo https://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/app-landing/ and check it into a smaller screen. When you click on the hamburg menu the menu claps down. If you than click on a button the page scroll perfectly down but the menu is not claps in. It claps in when you click again on the hamburg menu.

Actually, It is not the issue but it is the default functionality of the theme, because app-landing Demo is the one page demo and its menu works on section id’s not on the pages links so when you are on mobile and clicks on the Hamburg, it will open the menu and when you click on the menu item it will take you to the particular section but not close the menu until you do not click on the Hamburg again. This is the default functionality of the particular Demo, In order to change it as per your requirements, you have to Customize it as per your requirements.
And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Thanks for your feed back. It’s indeed not a issue but it is very annoying for the visitors of the website. I use the mobile menu that’s shows on the left of the website (hope you understand it ;)). So when you click a button in the menu, the menu scroll automatically down with the page. The option that the menu “collapse” in must be a standard function of the website.
It’s not reasonable to purchase a support ticket for this fact because the function must be a standard option of the website.

And as I said that the Hamburg menu on one page APP Landing Demo is not automatically close because it’s not working on page URL’s which will refresh/redirect the page, its work on the particular section id on the same page so this result in no page refresh/redirects and the pop up not close by default, the visitor have to click again on Hamburg icon to close the menu pop up.
This is the actual work, But again I am forwarding this to the development department to look through it in the next coming updates of the theme.

First of all you have to check the header type you are using on your site from Appearance >> Theme Options >> Header >> Header Type, then you have to go to wp-content/themes/porto/header and edit the header type file that your site is using and Customize it as per your requirements.

I have a suggested add-on for your next version – add the ability to change the site wide email template settings! Example: change the header logo, colors, footer content, etc. from within PORTO OPTIONS. There are very few plugins out there which will make all emails from WORDPRESS / WOO look the same.

Sorry for the inconvenience but you are facing an issue because of your server, and the issue is purely the permission issue from your server, when you make changes from theme options and click on save changes then the file skin_1.css regenerates but on your site it is not regenerating because of the file permission, and yes you give our Technical Support Team the SSH Terminal FTP access and they tried to change the permission from there but your server not letting them to do that, so it’s purely the server permission issue, please ask your hosting provider to solve the permission issue for you and then try and also please make sure that some times the service provider set the permissions for the files but when you click on save changes from theme options the permission will revert back to the old one and it is also the server issue.
And we do not close your ticket, your ticket is still open and you will get the reply of your ticket as soon as it will solve.

Hi. I’m interested in using your theme to create a new website for my employer. My employer needs the site to be able to take orders without having the customer actual pay during checkout. We need to be able to review the orders on a case by case basis to figure out exact cost. So basically we would still need the customer to be able to fill their cart and calculate estimated price, but when they went to checkout we would need it to say that we will contact them for payment. Then on our side we would still need to receive an email that contained a list of the items they wanted. Would something like this be easily done?

Do you think any of these solutions would work? Or would you happen to know a better choice? Thanks so much.

Yes, all solution will work fine with the theme. We have not tested the plugins with our theme yet and it’s not possible to guarantee 3rd party plugins for us, So we think that if the plugins are coded perfectly it should work with any WooCommerce theme like Porto. You can also confirm from the plugin author. This is the best info we can provide at this stage.
