HI, two presale questions. - We’re switching our themes because the ones that we are using does not allow to add the theme’ metaboxes (header and sidebars) to the CPTs created using pods or CPT UI. What about x-theme, is this feature buil-in or any extension? - Is there a need of a child theme? Thanks. Rogerio

Thanks for writing in. Our metaboxes are not added to custom post types – however, most of our customization options are in the Content Builder (Cornerstone). It’s possible to enable this for custom post types (from Pods, CPT UI, custom code, etc.) so you can use our builder to create and customize your designs. Child themes are 100% optional. They are a nice place to add custom code, but you can also add custom CSS and JavaScript directly in our Theme Options or on an individual page level.
Hi thanks for your reply. As I don’t know much of code, I’ve been struggling with CPTs and metaboxes when creating a post type as a page. A final question before go to checkout: Is the child theme a part of the package or do I need to create a new one from scratch? As I said I don’t know much of code do i need to avoid any coding as possible. Thanks. Rogerio

Hello, I have a pre-sale question. I would like to know how flexible is to make changes or replacing some of the pages once I installed the main template.
I would like to install some features/design from a different template, but I am not sure if is possible to add or change a page without loosing the main customization? e.g: The website will be using the main demo but service and about page from another demo.

You only can have one stack at a time active and changing it will overwrite the theme settings. From a page layout standpoint you will be able to recreate most of the layouts into any stack so that won’t be a problem. For specific questions related to certain elements and page sections our support team will be here to help.

Running into lots of issues with this theme- clicking on any listing provides a 404: https://staging.islandview.sites.roveridx.com/listings/recent/
Starting to wonder about how “X” is coded.. lots of issues. Your support forum is politely dodging the specific issues. Thinking about ditching the theme for something more stable. Can you reply to the issues in the support forum posted by our developer?

Hi there, i bought theme X with Cornerstone today and for some reason i have the feeling that i don’t have the full version of cornerstone. On youtube it looks very different then my version.
My version of cornerstone doesn’t have any option to put a background image in, and to make it full screen like a parralex image. Can you please help me.
Hi, I just downloaded the theme an attempted to install on Wordpress when i received the Css error message. I read through the support messages and already tried to open the zip file to upload the NameOf Theme.zip only. However, I do not see this file. Since the post that provided those instructions are 5 months old. Are there new instructions?

That CSS message means you are installing the “all files” download and not the theme only files. If you are referencing this article, it is definitely up to date. We simply list the last time any changes were made to the article. Also make sure you are not “opening” the zip file, you need to keep the file in the zip format when uploading it to your site. I don’t often comment on a product or provide any feedback on forums for an application or software. But I just had to write a message and state that I think X is a very good Wordpress theme and the level of support provided is superb, not just with help with trouble-shooting problems or issues you might have, but help in writing CSS and HTML code to assist in building of your website. This is a great theme (I have 7 licences) but it has one major drawback which ruins it somewhat. Basically, although there are many ways to get your site looking good with X Theme (especially Pro)it is practically impossible to vertically align items. It would be far, far better with a way to align the items. When the lines break the alignment is all over the place. It seems a shame considering how well made the theme is!

We don’t have options to customize the arrows or fully restyle those menus. However, we do include UberMenu for free as one of our Extensions. You could use this to get more control over how your menus appear.

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, a similar effect is possible. You can add solid color angled separators to each section that take on the background color you set on that section. This works great with parallax as you can have those dividers partially cover the next or previous section. The method Stripe is using is quite custom and involves specific CSS. If you’d like to do something like that with custom CSS you can add a content area element where you can code whatever you need.

We provide all updates for our extensions via our automatic updates system. You can see the latest available plugin version here. Currently 5.5.4 is the most recent version available. As soon as a new version of VC is out it gets queued for testing and once we’ve confirmed the new version works properly we will push it to automatic updates.
After activating the theme and themeforest purchase codes (I even converted to pro after the original license activation), I’ve noticed that random clicks throughout my wordpress dashboard kicks me out of wordpress forcing me to have to log back into worpress. This started by first trying to access the “theme options” area. When I clicked on “theme options,” I was forced to log back into wordpress. I thought maybe my hosting provider was having issues, because even when I tried to click on my “jetpack settings” page, I also would get booted out. I tried other random areas, and the same thing kept happening. When I activate another wordpress theme, all is well – everything area in WP was now accessible. Basically, activating “X” renders many wordpress dashboard links inoperable (for me anyway). I was looking forward to seeing what I could do with this theme. I haven’t given up. I’ve sent a support email as well, but I’ve never experienced this type of problem with a wordpress theme. In the defense of the X Theme Guys-N-Gals, I hope it’s something simple that (I’m) forgetting to do…
Hmm, never heard of that so it sounds like it may be a conflict with your host or with JetPack. I’m so disappointed. I’ve been using this theme for years and after the last update it’s totally broken for me. What’s the point of “classic” elements like tabs and accordian when the functionality is completely broken? Classic tabs literally does NOT work at all. I can’t even add a new content block into my pages to try to fix it. And why did a bunch of icons disappear? I won’t be purchasing this theme again.

Few days ago I submitted a review for the x-theme. Now it’s gone. I would like to get an answer, what happened to my review.
Envato would be the ones to contact, and they can be reached at support@envato.com.
I contacted Envato and received information, that “author of the theme has the option to have the review be removed from their item. You will need to contact the author regarding this. Here’s how to contact them: (...)”. So please, explain this situation. Why was my review deleted without any explenation and any information. My review was made according to “Rating or Review Removal Policy”. It was negative, as is my experience with X-theme. It was a fair review, where I made several valid points. And now the authors of the theme DELETE the review??

I received another answer from Envato: “Hi Przemyslaw, I am sorry for the confusion what I meant on the ‘The author has the option to have the review be removed from their item’ is the author can request the review to be removed. I asked you to contact author so you may ask them if they requested to have your review be removed.”.
So the question is: did You request to delete my review, on what basis, and why wasn’t I even informed about this fact?
Could I please get an answer?
