Hey! I have a question about how to configure woocommerce. I want to remove the “sold by” section or to be able to set it to read “Sold by Amazon” on every product. How can I do this?

You can delete vendor plugin if you don’t need sold by section

Thanks for your help! I deactivated the plugin and it still shows sold by and my user name. On the theme demo, it shows “Sold by Amazon” and has a short description. I added a description, but it doesn’t show.

I have added a description in the section that says “Product Description.” It doesn’t show on the Columns of Woocommerce Products or if I use the Grids of Woocommerce Products.

Ok. I am just trying to figure out why the short description is not showing for each product. Can you please help with that? Why do I need a lot of short codes just to get it to show it? I don’t know what you mean. Which description and where do you need to show? Where do you expect to see description in product grid? Do you realize that description can be a huge? Do you realize that any popular website never shows description in grid? Check Amazon site, check eBay, check any popular site. Grid must have image, price and button. If you want to show description in archives, use product list layout in theme option – shop settings – design for archives
Hi Sizam, I gave an example of a successful website, www.thisiswhyimbroke.com. If you look on this site, it has products with a description underneath the image. When you click on the button, it takes you right to Amazon’s website. This is what I am trying to accomplish. Does this make sense? I don’t know how to explain it any other way. There is something about the Rehub theme that is preventing Woocommerce from displaying the short description. Or it may be possible that the website (thisiswhyimbroke.com) is using something else other than Woocommerce to display its products. (??)

Okay, question. Can the Rehub theme be customized to show a short description underneath the product image for WooCommerce or for the Masonry grid? Although the Repick theme comes the closest to what I need, my only issue is that I only want a short description. The Repick theme has “Read More” which leads to an article or more in-depth description. I only want a short description or a compelling statement(s) that will entice customers to buy the product. In other words, I only want it to show enough information to convince visitors why they should buy the product. Or if I need to use the Repick theme and just customize it to where the “Read More” can be “Check This Out” or “Buy This” and from there go straight to Amazon. I don’t want to regurgitate what is already on the Amazon website. I only need to state why the product is worth buying. Please and thank you! I feel like this is holding up my progress right now.

I have tried the Repick theme. The description only shows when I use the “Regular Blog Post” element to my page. I need the products to show in columns along with the description and it’s not doing that. I am really regretting that I purchased this theme…it has been a total let down. I am using “Regular Blog Posts” element—which displays all information I need, EXCEPT that it doesn’t display products in columns. The 2nd one I used the “Post Grid in Columns” element which does not show the description or the “Check This Out” button. Lastly is the “Masonry Grid” which is showing everything but the price. Perhaps with the Masonry Grid there is some technical glitch…but I need the product image, description, price, and “Check This Out” button to show, along with the option to save/add to wishlist. I don’t know how to get any plainer than that.

Hi Sizam this is what this is the response I got from the author of the plugin: the theme you’re using doesn’t seem to apply the post class to the post container (https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/post_class). It is required for Snax to work correctly.

I am using the redirect theme (imported the template/demo) and am trying to figure out how to remove a section from posts which is not required.
The section in question is the overview, screenshot, video, specification and review score tabs. I don’t need to display these so would like to remove them from the posts?

What is the difference between the Rehub parent theme and the Recash child theme? Is it only the CSS appearance or are there differences in functions and features? Can you please tell me all the differences? I am currently on the Recash theme, but I am thinking of switching to the Rehub parent theme.

If you enabled recash, rehub will be also enabled, because child theme can’t work without main theme

Flat Rehub has another default modules for categories, it doesn’t have deal grid for category and doesn’t have filter panel for categories. Other things are mostly the same

Posts is better if you don’t need price comparison feature, advanced filters and specification. If you need them – use woocommerce
