Question. I’ve just written a massive blog post (10k+ words) however using a table of contents at the beginning with anchor ID’s is giving a funny result…

The links work, when you click you go to the right part of the post.

BUT…

The fixed sticky header eats up the top 55 pixels or whatever you’ve set on the page, so you can’t actually see the heading of the section you’ve navigated to…it’s like it’s overlapping non-see through transparency (because the header isn’t pushing the content down). If I jump into theme options > stick header and set OPACITY = 0 you can see that this is indeed the case.

Never noticed this before as I have only just setup the anchor IDs today.

Any idea how to have the top heading (i,.e. the menu bar) stay at the top of the page and “push” the content down the 55 pixels of its height, instead of overlapping everything on the page?

It’s like I want a “fixed sticky” header that has it’s own space on the page, instead of simply overlapping everything under it.

OR

Have you any advice for setting up a rule or whatever so when I jump to an anchor ID there’s an offset, that works on both desktop and responsive display? This is kind of what I’m talking about – https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10732690/offsetting-an-html-anchor-to-adjust-for-fixed-header, however implementing that code on my page and within custom CSS doesn’t seem to work within Jupiter.

Any advice here would be appreciated.

Hi, I’ve started building a website with Jupiter v6, but figured I may as well just start afresh with Jupiter X being released. Does Jupiter X have a child theme? and what would be the best way to install it currently? Thanks

Hi

Yes, Jupiter X supports the child theme like Jupiter v6. we suggest you check out Jupiter X. Elementor is its default page builder with lots of new features. It’s really fast and user friendly.

Please read this article:

Also, please have look at this video:

Thanks for reply, there isn’t a child theme in the beta yet is there? Also I installed Jupiter X on a fresh installation of wordpress and it’s only showing a white screen. Also activating jupiter x core plugin causes website to crash.

Hi,

Unfortunately it isn’t included yet. About your other issues, kindly submit a ticket so our support team can check the issue: https://themes.artbees.net/new-ticket

Hi ArtbeesSupport! In the Ikmaios template (https://demos.artbees.net/jupiter/ikmaios/) you have a ‘moving image’ type of content to play a video. However, the video plays in YouTube.

How would I go about using lightbox to play the video in the same page with that moving image?

Hi

Seems you have created a support ticket. Our support staff will update you entire the ticket.

Hi, I’ve an ecommerce with Jupiter Theme and everything is fine but I’ve an annoying problem with cart page. When I try to remove a product with the “x” cart remain the same. The only way to update cart is to change quantity to zero, but I really need to update cart also removing a product. I’ve switched to the default theme ad the “x” works. So it’s a theme’s problem. Hello . How can edit the pre-made websites after installation ? .. Can i do that using WPBakery Page Builder or i must have to use your builder ?!

Hi

You could change all texts and images with the WP Bakery (Visual Composer) page builder and some general settings from Jupiter’s theme options.

The Jupiter 6.1.5 page builder is WP Bakery (Visual Composer).

In case you have any problem after installation, you could ask our support team:

Hello,

I’ve just installed the theme on a existing site. But in the admin area I can’t pick any colors. The color picker won’t show up. It’s just a white space.

Here a few screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c78nlmp8d5bb17c/Schermafdruk%202018-10-14%2014.17.39.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/12d3m4rp4u0fywm/Schermafdruk%202018-10-14%2014.18.27.png?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/w3227x08g0l1ryi/Schermafdruk%202018-10-14%2014.18.37.png?dl=0

Hello. I’m trying to replace the huge header pictures on the Dialis (https://demos.artbees.net/jupiter/dialis/) template from the Jupiter theme. I went through all of the video tutorials and none of the videos show how to replace the header picture. I need to know how can I replace that picture from the demo site.

Hi

It’s not header picture on this demo page there is a Page Section element and the golden girl is the Page Section’s background image and you could change it by editing the first page section element.

In case you have more question please create a support ticket:

https://themes.artbees.net/new-ticket

I don’t have any additional questions…this is pertaining to the same question. Do you have a step-by-step tutorial on how to change or replace that image. I tried to add a picture of mines as the designated picture for the home page but it’s still not working. I just need a step-by-step instruction on how to replace that picture. Can you provide that for me?

Forget about it…I’ve figured it out.

I currently use Jupiter v6, which uses Visual Composer. Are you guys going to stop supporting Jupiter 6 when Jupiter X launches? I hope not, i really hate elementor. I hope you dont stop support VC and Jupiter 6 bc i have most my clients on it, and am pushing more of my clients to switch to the Jupiter 6 theme

please let me know…

Hi

We’ll support the Jupiter version 6 for two years after the Jupiter X official release. At the moment we’re on beta version of Jupiter X. Also, you could use the WP Bakery (Visual Composer) plugin on Jupiter X as well.

WOW Version 6 looks In$ane! Curious ArtBees, with that awesome header builder, are there mobile styling options/a variety of diff way to display the mobile menu? And those floating images in main demo on mobile view are amazing! how does that option work? Might be finally time to get another copy!$

Hi

By using the Header Builder, you could design 3 headers for Desktop, Tablet and mobile in different styles and customizations. To learn more, please read the below docs:

Hi, I was trying login after registration but it’s not recognizing my username which is my email address. When I tried to register again it says my purchase code has already been used by b*t@g**l.com which is my email that I used. It is also the same email that the purchase confirmation from Themeforest was sent to. Please check and rectify it so I can login. Thanks

Bye bye Jupiter,

After 4 years using it, it is time to change, the theme was one of the fastest themes in 2014 and the features were amazing, but the theme now is quite outdated if you want to focus on mobile design

The authors always tried to sell the theme as the theme of the future, but lets face it, until now you cant have 2 menus, or you cant specify one for mobile, video background still doesn’t work on mobile, and I can mention other problems that since 2014 have not been fixed, so is not the best theme for the present = mobile design.

I hope that Artbees team begin to refocus on responsive design as clearly the are way behind other themes.

But thanks for this 4 great years

Cheers

Hi

Thanks for feedback

We have header builder and you could design your desired header for Desktop, Tablet and mobile. Also, the autoplay video background is disabled on mobile devices as a global protocol.

However, our new theme Jupiter X beta version has been released and you could check and try it:

https://themes.artbees.net/blog/jupiter-x-announced/

At this point you cant do anything about the menu on mobile, autoplay works perfect on tablet and iphones by default with other themes just check (pixelar.com.mx) but not in Jupiter.

I might return to Jupiter X but for now the change is done..
