Vibe i am facing all these issues after migration for one server to another So is there any way to troubleshoot in WPLMS or how to reset the settings or how to find the error ?

I tried to replicate this scenario but could not. You should not worry about comments meta sync with quiz results. There are various scenarios where the difference can occur, the comments meta is updated every time a user retakes a quiz whereas the quiz result appears from activity meta is like a snapshot. An instructor can also change the answer of a question from the comments but it would not update in the results, as you need to clear the cache. As an adhoc fix I can give you an sql query to remove all the cached results. If you feel this is a bug, please share steps to replicate. Delete the activity meta of the results. The ?1 is necessary to avoid browser based caching as we were getting a log of complaints that user is not logged in even after logging in whereas the browser caches based on url so ?1 changes the url and is uncached.

Right But the problem is the comment meta is not updated but the activity meta is. Even the students have given the quiz only One time but the results are different in Comments meta and activity meta But the correct result is hare https://prnt.sc/l7gatm

So if you could tell me vibe the function and file name from where this result is coming may be i will be able to fix the issue

When a user is opening a quiz result if you add ”?force” in the url, it will force to rebuild the result from comment meta. The funciton is bp_course_quiz_results in vibe-course-module/includes/bp-course-template.php

Actully after running many loops i have changed the obtained marks from comments meta and now my custom graphs are showing wrong data and students are making me upset

And by the way, when i tried to use eventon feaature, i was surprized that it was asking me for the purchase code of eventon… it seems to be different from what you have mentioned to me when i spoke to you. Could you elaborate to me in detail?

We earlier used a ticketing system and it was not as good as forum as we got repeated requests for same issue and users can not search other user’s resolved issues. Thus we moved to forum as they allow users to search for existing solutions.
1. We’re using Site setup wizard, so Ajax errors can be ignored, they appear because we stop these plugins from showing their introduction page after install.
2. All the third party premium plugins like EventOn, Visual Composer, LayerSlider, RevSlider are bundled in the theme under extended license which gives us the license to bundle and our customers to use them, but we can not include the license key itself. The developers of these plugins promote themselves to get support from them ( totally optional ) by purchasing a license key and get added advantage. Check this link from our knowledgebase for this.

Hi thank you for the prompt reply, i actually had some issues trying to use the eventon feature. I realize that i could create the event but the payment button is not coming up.

I am in need of the event feature as a first resort, because timelines will need to be met and i have to add in the other features later.

I have one or two queries right here, and the first is the eventon usage, where first either i m not doing it right or there could be a bug somewhere… Second is from the add new page, where i tried to add the eventon in the word editor it prompts for an activation code which by right if its bundled with your theme it should allow me to use it rather than prompt me to buy it.

Third is i do understand that there are quite a number of features on your theme which is good. Although there are a number tutorials on your theme, it does not effectively allow me to understand how they all link up or add up.

I would not know how to integrate all the features to create what i need to build. And the tutorials are mostly covering each component on its own. For me to figure out a new system sometimes takes ages.

Would there be a simple tutorial which does a comprehensive walk through so that i could effectively understand how they all link up?

Either that i would love to talk to you directly, like the way we spoke the other day. could it be possible for me to drop you an email or call?

Hi vibes, I understand Vibethemes would do a free setup for me like what you said since i just bought the theme. I would be more inclined and interested towards a walkthrough which helps me to understand how all the different features could be used to achieve the best impact and effect.

This aids me to have shorter and better learning curve. Perhaps a walkthrough of what is the most optimized way of building up the pages and content would be useful covering all the different aspects and features.

Hi, i guess i was monitoring for your reply pretty closely because i needed to work on this as soon as possible. Yet i do understand that its a a weekend and my queries will take some time and effort to reply to.

i am actually trying to gauge the timeline when i will be able to fully get the information from your end, and how long i will take to finish up my site.

I am not developing the site for others, in fact it is for myself to use.

i am in the midst of trying to build a frontend to use as soon as possible and eventson is one of the area that i would be requiring.

seems that it does not function well on its own, or i am not doing it right, and i believe eventon will not entertain me since this plugin is connected from your end and the query and solution will only be available through you.

How can i use the eventon to create a normal event without having it used in wplms in the courses. Right now its impossible to whip courses in short time periods. I can only create events.

I need a straight answer, if eventon cannot serve outside the course lms, i will need to go out and secure a theme that allows me to do event for the time being.

The rest of the questions you may take a little time to go through, but this being a priority, is my first and foremost urgent query.

1. Can i use eventon in this theme to work in normal events page, where i can create an event where

A. users can sign up and make payment, be notified via email for events, either one time or recurring. For each event created, even for recurring events, will the list of signups be available for us to go through? Or they are all thrown into one big pool where all the user signups for various events are shown (mygod, very messy) ?

B. Do i need to create myself to integrate with payment systems or would it be already embedded in to paypal or credit card payment systems without going through woocommerce events. To be frank the woocommerce events is a chore when it comes to creating for events.

C. Eventon actually has app add ons, wondering if through connecting with wplms, can the app version be used in conjunction with wplms? We can buy the version of eventon extension if need be, but it may not necessary be integrateable with wplms.

Please advise

D. In the event where Eventon, does not meet my requirements, could i use other events to create events in this theme which uses eventon at the same time without creating conflicts?

EventOn (link) is a really powerful plugin and there are no modifications to it when included in the theme. You can check the additional features it supports which are not included in the theme eventon addons.
1. Yes you can use event on to create global non-course specific events.
A. This is available in EventOn, you will need to use their ticket addon
B. Yes it supports WooCommerce
C. Yes you can use eventOn addons there is no conflict with the theme.
D. Yes you can, there are no known conflicts with other event plugins as of now.

Meanwhile i am contemplating to buy the app which i wanted to confirm if it belongs to VibeThemes and would there be any form of integration between the app and this theme?

Meanwhile, to clarify my question further is that, will content that is created in this theme be automatically accessed in the app? Would the app itself be part of IOS or andriod only?

By the way, i realized that your answers have been completed only until section H, and it seems that the rest are yet to be completed. Like to clarify if this was something that was not addressable or it was an omission?

Next question i have is that if a site which i have, have certain number of users signed up under a membership program, could it be possible that the existing database of users could effectively be hooked over to wplms so that when they register and log in from the other database they could connect to wplms without having to sign up all over again.

i understand that database connecting could be done however, not sure if in your experience this could be made to work? The main purpose is so that they do not need to re-register or sign in again if they are singed in under another database?

Sorry for the late follow up. But it has been three months since i bought this theme and it also has been three months since i was waiting for the full reply. And it has not been followed up upon from your end to complete them yet.

Could i request for a free extension of the support since if every response takes such a long time then there is very little i can do and there is something that i keep having to pay for.

Meanwhile, my questions still require your help to complete.

My next question is assuming i have a database of users in another database, how can i effective link them into this theme so as to commonly share a user database group without having them to re sign up with a new credential?
