Hello support team! My company is looking to get a new website. Before making a final decision (and purchase this theme or not) I just want to confirm if the following would work with BeTheme themes: - Gutenberg update: I’ve read some of the articles you posted here but just wanted to ask if there are more details on this or detailed guidelines. - Is it possible to edit element IDs? We would need this for our user tracking (we currently use Segment). - Any more info in regards to speed and how SEO friendly is the theme. We had some issues in the past with this and ended up adding multiple plugins for cache, etc and we want to avoid all this.

Thank you for your interest in our theme
1. Guttenberg will affect only WordPress Editor content. Our Muffin Builder uses custom post fields and will not be affected by Guttenberg.
2. You can set custom classes for any builder element, but IDs can be set for sections only.
3. The theme does not use any caching features; you have to use a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache. BeTheme offers custom SEO fields like title, description, keywords, and og:image for each page and post (you can also set it globally)

To give more context here: we have a tracking system implemented on our current web done with integrations of Segment (https://segment.com/) and Google Tag Manager. For the system to track user events (clicks on buttons, submit forms, etc.) it looks up for specific IDs for those elements that we customized when we create them in our current theme. For example, if you check our homepage (www.ethosdata.com) the “Get a Quote today” button (first one), it has a custom ID: cta-get-quote (you can see this with Chrome tool developers). This ID we set when we created the element. We need a theme that allows this too.
That wouldn’t be possible?

I inserted a video clip in a page as a background in a column. It is a mp4 video clip, and it is set on mute. I want to play this video automatically with sound.
With inspect element i found the file front.php were is the function: echo ’<video poster=”’. $poster .’” autoplay=”true” loop=”true” muted=”muted”>’;
If i remove this: muted=”muted” the video clip don`t play with sound.
I saw you have a lots of questions about sound on/off on videoclip and no response. I don`t find any solution in documentation. Can you help with a solution?

The autoplay function is disabled on most of the modern browsers these days. You can only autoplay videos without sound.
This is blocked by the browser and we cannot help you with this issue.

Hola! No puedo actualizar mi tema. Me indica el siguiente error: Ocurrió un error al actualizar Betheme: No se ha podido descomprimir el paquete. El paquete no contiene archivos.
A veces pasa pero a los pocos días lo he intentado nuevamente y funciona. Actualmente tengo más de 3 semanas tratando de actualizarlo y me sigue saliendo error.

Hi,
We are having issue on your Portfolio module in BeTheme.
When we click the Load More button, additional images appear but the number of images in total is not accurate.
Please have a look on my screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MJ8Yjv0z7i84vmHSXeNRpCXnrwA4oE_h/view?usp=sharingApparently, there are more than 2 images but it only shows a total of 2 in the counter/pagination.
The Pagination is incorrect when you press the LOAD MORE function. it will not add up to the current pagination of the gallery. it will have separate pagination number for the added images when load more is press.
Also in some circumstances, loaded images were duplicated.

Hi, are all your demo imports done using your muffin page builder or some are done with WPBakery page builder?
Also whats the theme registration procedure when it comes to moving a website, that’s using your theme, from a local development server to a live server.
My client also wants to know if its possible to do front-end editing of the pages with muffin builder.

all pre-built layouts were built with Muffin Builder tool which is much lighter, easier in use and faster. We did not built those demos with WP Bakery (previously known as Visual Composer) because it’s an additional plugin and in reference to right agreements, we can not force users to use 3rd party plugins. Also, for many users, Visual Composer just doesn’t work right because plugin is quite heavy and requires good hosting service.
Regarding 2nd question, for complete site migration, we recommend to use Duplicator plugin. It’s pretty easy in use, quite fast and migrate complete website with all settings, media, content, etc. However, please remember to de-register the license before moving the website and when it’s ready, register on a new location.

Greetings! I have made website for a client with betheme. It is loading perfectly in mobile. However, it is not loading in desktop. I am not sure if it’s a problem of theme or not. My site url is http://www.smart-ezone.com , any advice will be really helpful, thanks in advance

i have a serios problem with the muffin builder. since the latest Wordpress Update the muffin builder is not working any more. When i update my page half of the content is gone. I have BeTheme Version 20.9.7.1 installed. when i try to install 20.9.7.4. its says “The package could not be installed. The package contains no files.”. please provide a update i can install!?

Hi there! Its my first question here in betheme support comments so please answer me… I want to deactivate Header Builder but i cant find out where to do! I was testind this feature and finaly i realized that this one broke my clasic menu that i had!!! Pleeeease anwer me how to deactivate it!
Answer for people with same issue…(only with server file managering abilities) 1st of all GET A BACKUP – go to server domain file manager - public_html / wp_content / plugins and you will find the header builder plugin… delete this file and all will be as it was bfore!!!

Header Builder comes as plugin and could be easily disabled/removed under Plugins section. You don’t have to remove any files.
However, we’re testing this builder since long time and did not noticed any issues between the plugin and default header options.
