Hi just wandering where i can get the code for the dark theme.

Hi,

Please go to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Skin >> Layout ans Choose Background Type as Dark and save changes and finally check your site after removing the browser cache.

Why do you not have auto update option? We have auto update with Avada and some other themes and it works great. We are not ready to manualy update Porto. We received message from your support to turn off 3 plugins cos they are now in 1 plugin. It sounds very complicated comparing to Avada. How is it possible you do not offer auto update? Can we get fefund considering there is auto update in your documentation but not auto update in reality?

Sorry to say that but we have no more auto update feature in the theme, we removed it from the theme some updates ago, because many of the Customers did Customization in the theme as per their requirements and when they update the theme automatically then the new theme will override their Customization and many other issues as well, that is why we always recommended to update the theme manually it will help you in not losing any data while updating.

And do not worry we already forwarded this suggestion as a feature request to the development department they will look through it in the next coming updates of the theme.

Please edit your homepage and scroll below to the bottom you will find Porto Modal Box element like showing in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HAmqYgB.png so that modal box is generated using that Modal Box Element and the styling and Background image is being set for it via Custom CSS you will find in the Theme Options >> Skin >> Custom CSS as showing in this screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/HAmsBWL.png & https://pasteboard.co/HAmt6lU.png

Hello ! Im updated woocommerce 3.5 and i got messenger Your theme (Porto) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. Porto theme version 4.7.2. My question this messenger is important or not ? need update or no . Thank you !

Sorry for the inconvenience but WooCommerce releases it’s last major update Yesterday, and we already saw and test it and you are right a couple of theme templates is outdated because of the WooCommerce major update so we already forwarded this to the development department and they are working on it and soon within a week you will find an update of the theme with solved this issue, until that please be patience.

Sometimes WordPress and WooCommerce also release a heavy update on their core files, that’s why we also should update the theme structure for WordPress and woo updates.

I appreciate the nice work you’ve done here and have 2 questions. 1. In demo 19 homepage, is there a way to load the whole page at once so when the user scrolls down he will not need to wait till the next category loads? 2. In the same demo, when you use the RTL version, the categories icons on the side will show 2 contrary arrows instead of 1 towards the content.

1. As you know that the particular section is coming from Porto One Page Category WP Bakery element right, so there is only to options the particular element provides, please edit the Porto One Page Category WP Bakery element you will find an option Ajax Load so just check it or uncheck it and save changes and check your site after removing the browser cache.

2. Please copy and paste the below-given CSS code to the page Custom CSS option and check your site after removing the browser cache.

I want all categories to be loaded by default, if I uncheck the Ajax Load, categories will not expand and load at all. 2. It works perfectly fine now, thank you. 3. 1. Sorry to say that but the particular element do not provide this functionality so you have to make it possible with the help of Customization otherwise use any other WP Bakery element which suits your requirements.

2. Most Welcome!

3. If you change the Position of the Text in Desktop version then it will also change the position in mobile version as well, so if you want do not change it in mobile version then you have to make it possible with the help of Customization or with media queries.

And also could you please purchase support extension to get further support? Your 6 months of support period is now expired. According to Envato support policy, renewing support is required for further support.

Please download the latest Polish language translation files of the theme from below given links and upload it to wp-content/languages/themes and then go to your site WP-Dashboard >> Setting >> General and change your site language to Polish from there and click on save changes and finally check your site after removing the browser cache.

My website is running on Wordpress 4.9.8 but get this error after install themes. “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’.’, expecting ‘)’ in /home/chevitdd/domains/chevitdd.in.th/public_html/demo2/bioderma/wp-content/themes/porto/inc/plugins/plugins.php on line 24” Could suggest me how to fix that problem? and in package of theme doesn’t have child theme of Porto.

The issue you are facing is because of the PHP version, Your site is using the PHP version below 5.6 which is not compatible with the theme so you have to change the PHP version of your site to minimum 5.6 and also please make sure that your server requirements must meet the latest theme minimum requirements as given in the theme documentation here: http://www.portotheme.com/wordpress/porto/documentation/
And please try to upload the theme via Cpanel again as showing in the Complete Video Installation Guide of WordPress here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6mqyuDF4GY&feature=youtu.be

Change Product Image Sizes:

To change image size: To change this setting now on the front end you have to go to Customize >> WooCommerce >> Product Catalog and you can customize the store display from there.

You must need to regenerate the image thumbnails after making the change in size then after that check your site after removing the cache you will not find an issue.

Regenerate Thumbnails: After changing the image size, you should regenerate all the thumbnails in Tools > Regen. Thumbnails on admin sidebar.

Explanation:

WooCommerce provides two image sizes:

Main image width and Thumbnail width.

Main image width is used on single product pages and thumbnail width is used in the archive(shop) pages.
Thumbnail is not a width of thumbnail images on thumbnail carousel in single product pages.

Otherwise, if you want any extra functionality you have to contact WooCommerce Support or you have to do it by yourself using Customization.

Still having trouble updating theme. Any chance you fix that or should I give up hope… This is the second mail and the fourth update I think about this issue. Please don’t suggest the manual update because after doing that (which is quite a pain), then it just rolls back to 4.7.5 without warning. Something is seriously wrong and I am tired of dealing with this issue which it shouldn’t be an issue in the first place.

Hi, At Shop page, Left Sidebar is fixed until all the product are viewing. I believe in Admin setting we have an option to make it float, however, I am not reminding the same. Request you to please help me to get the option to make sidebar as float.

You can make the sidebar as “Sticky or Fixed” as per your requirements from Appearance >> Theme Options >> General and you will find an option there “Enable Sticky Sidebar” just make it Yes or NO.
