Even if the registration is required there are still not limitations that verify the number of installations you are doing, so the issue is not caused by the fact you are on a staging server. hi undsgn, I’ve tried several options so far, but since I’m upgrading from version 1.6.4 I feel constantly being thrown between two worlds. The Envato toolkit plugin is deprecated and seems to affect the product registration, and the update gives a blank page. Really feel stuck here. What I haven’t tried is a manual update (overwriting the uncode folder via FTP), because I’m not sure anymore what will happen. Would there be a way (one time support) for you top check and verify what’s going on and how to update?

What I can suggest is to read carefully the Theme Update documentation, note that there is a “Update to Uncode 1.8 (or later versions) from an earlier version” chapter (https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/214001205) and how worked product registration prior to 1.8 (even if the plugin is obsolete this doesn’t mean you cannot use it): https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002308845

hi, the deprecated Toolkit plugin gave me empty pages, only the hard way on ftp eventually did work out.. all fresh and updated now.
Hi Madaboutyou, unfortunately we don’t have previous reports for empty pages with this plugin, anyway definitely the old but gold FTP update is an optimum solution if you need to update from an old version.
Hi, I hear there is no specific setting to change the font size of build query. I’ve added the query with a post that generates a menu.
I find in the html file Show all. I can change here “Show all” font size by making this non-persistent change in Style in browser:

please, do not change the file style.css: you will lose your changes after each update. You can add your custom styles to a child theme or to “Theme Options -> CSS/JS -> CSS”.
We are working on some changes to make more customizable the filter area, however at the moment custom CSS are the only way to achieve what you need.

Hi,
Feedback: The Media Gallery ‘Explode Albums’ option removes any individual links assigned with URLs in the Single Block. So you have to re-add these links if the Exploded Albums option is set to Yes.
The Uncode site says “This is especially useful for all designers who create sites that will be managed by their clients.” But is that right though? We only found this when a user was roaming around the site and then caused trouble by selecting Explode Albums…not helpful!
Incidentally, can we put a feature request in? For some sort of Team/Staff/People display improvement for Uncode. Currently it’s pretty basic but it could be a huge benefit to the theme. The link to Author pages is clunky and could possibly be better managed as a separate function entirely?

Just thought of someting else 
When will Undsgn sort out the ‘After Content’ issue with Uncode? Ever since the Related Post function was introduced, the posts have suffered with an issue in that the ‘Share’ options will always be below whatever you set as the After Content…and this has been the issue for a very long time now with no solution.
Another feature request for this would also be to be able to specifiy different styles/positioins for the Share icons for posts. Also different icons for the cart, and the whole cart experience itself actually. It is quite basic and could have a bunch of different options to choose from.
All just feedback

Hi, I see if it’s a front end editor in that way I agree it does sound very helpful indeed. However things like this don’t (sometimes not always
) get explained totally clearly in the documentation.
Nonetheless, the main issue regardless of this, is if you click Explode Albums and the single block is hidden…then switch back….the single block settings are reset. That’s just not good UX! But I suppose it is hard to implement, maybe a tooltip for Explode Albums could warn this will happen if you click it? The tooltips like this usually do a great job of informing extra information in Uncode.

What about the Related Posts ‘After Content’ issue though? This has been a problem ever since you introduced it, what over a year now? Maybe even two?

Hi david_h__ and thank you for suggestion, we’ll check if there is a logic tooltip to implement, it seems a really odd case where you set Single Block links and then you activate an option like Explode Albums, anyway we’ll check.
Sincerely I don’t define the Related Posts ‘After Content’ issue, if there is an issue we should have received hundreds of reports, this is a design choice and you intend it in a different position but it’s working as it was designed.
Explode Albums – Yes that’s very true, however it was a user who changed it so not something we would have touched ourselves. Hence the idea for a tooltip perhaps.

Related Posts – ‘After Conent’ – I remember speaking with someone from Undsgn on the old forum about the Related Posts After content issue, who at the time said it would be something that would be fixed later.
Fair enough if there haven’t been many other reports of it, but from a simple design perspective/UX/UI it surely would be worth sorting out. For instance:

Honestly, the theme is super logical in the backend and front. This is why this one thing seems so strange as it really isn’t the right place for the share options.

Hi david_h__, I think I have just replied you in all the possible ways about what you define an issue, if you are not happy with the theme (you have purchased in 2016) for the position of the social share, you can use another theme for what I think is a new project you are doing now or simple deal with code and modify to your needs.
Absolutely not, it’s for a long existing project which uses the theme to it’s full potential. Don’t get me wrong, its an excellent theme. We are simply providing feedback. A shame that is not welcome…
I have not told is not welcome and in fact I have also sent you the link for the feature requests, by the way if you don’t like how it was designed you should have not bought the theme, if this feature was introduced after the purchase is something like an extra you have now, right?
Well Related Posts was introduced after big user demand. An extra? Absolutely. But it also benefits, makes the theme better overall and therefore sells more.
Uncode is quite easily one of the continuing best themes and I recommend it to anyone. We were just trying to help with honest, constructive feedback…

I see there is a javascript error on your site, maybe that generates issue with the native slider of WooCommerce that triggers when you have more than one picture. The Javascript error refer to an issue with Google Maps initialization (a double initialization in this case), so I have to ask to try to deactivate all the extra plugins not included in the theme and check if the problem persists.

Upgraded Wordpress to 4.9.8 and now I receive “Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post.” on media library when I try to upload anything. I updated the theme to the latest bust still have the same issue! It resolves when I switch to another theme!

Hi andersonmarcal, if the system reports you have a firewall it’s because a firewall is detected, this can also happen if you are using some protection plugins or authentication screens that alter the normal WordPress access.

Hiya! We have an issue whereby if we select to use a white button the text is also white – there doesn’t seem to be an option to chose what colour font you would like to use on the button. Any ideas?
Hi! You need to set the “Dark” skin for the column and set the color of the button to “default”, then you have an white button similar to lot of examples of our demos. Let us know if you have problems recreate this.

I’m not sure to understand what the question is. However, if you want to change title or excerpt and display a custom solution instead of the original content of the post, you have to use a Wordpress hook and filter the title or the excerpt.

It means you want to change the title. In this case you have to do as I said before. The categories, instead, are the ones the displayed portfolio items belong to, just this.

Hi! I uploaded 4 svg icon and I activated the “Animated” checkbox in the Media Library. I’m displaying theses 4 icons in a 4 columns box. If I use the same color the 4 icons all is displaying correctly, but for example if I combine 2 icons in a color and 2 icons in another color, the colors are not displaying correctly. Is there any way to use this animation effect combining more that one color?

This is one of the most complicated themes I have worked with. It is so hard to figure out even after watching the videos. I have spent all day trying to figure out the simplest of things. I am not new to using themeforest themes but unfortunately I don’t have time to send in support tickets all day long so I am moving on to another theme.
